Got a TLX Type S from them. Drove over an hour to get there and it was completely worth it. Ken was very knowledgeable about the car and super friendly. Also didn’t get killed with a bunch of up charges. Would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

My wife and I have purchased our last two Acura MDXs from Acura of Escondido and I would highly recommend them. I’ve had wonderful experiences with their sales and service departments. Ken Knight from sales has taken care of us on both occasions and he is awesome! He goes the extra mile to ensure his customers get the vehicle they like and has extensive knowledge of the vehicles he has shown us. He makes sure you’re comfortable with all the attributes and even had all the safety features preset to my wife’s preference when we picked up our vehicle! Young in service has taken care of all our needs and is very personable, professional, and communicative. Like I said, our experience here has been great and I’d recommend stopping by if you’re in the market for an Acura.

Wow!!!!!! I can’t even begin to describe the wonderful experience that I had at Acura Escondido. I was helped by an amazing representative. Abby made sure all my questions were answered before I even told her I was ready to buy. She answered all questions about the brand and the reliability. Ultimately we ended up buying the car not only because we love the brand but because Abby was so helpful I can’t wait to drive my new baby everywhere. BEST PART, the big red bow, it was the cherry on top!

Great dealership and great service from the staff here! When it comes to buying a car, lets be honest - its no fun having to visit dealerships and play the games of price negotiation, upsells, and the hassle. At least at Acura of Escondido the staff were willing to talk honestly and directly about pricing, accommodating my requests, and they didnt have any of the silly market adjustment charges that many other dealers have been doing lately.Another key highlight was the guys here actually know the cars and their features, as well as the brand history. That sounds like an obvious thing, but youd be surprised how many dealerships Ive been to where the sales guys dont even know as much as I do about the cars!I live in San Diego so this dealership is about 30 minutes further away than some others, but I have been impressed enough that Ill try to visit them for service and other needs in the future.

Initially called and spoke with Abbey in new car sales. Explained I was a returning customer and my lease was up. I wanted another lease for a 2023 MDX tech package. Sent her my information about the current vehicle and called back the next day to get numbers for the new lease. I was handed off to another person Zhou, who requested the same information I already provided.I located a the vehicle I wanted and they were going to dealer trade for it. Explained to Zhou that there were several rebates and loyalty programs for a lease on the car until July 5th. Zhou said that the dealer had a 2k mark up for installed items on the traded vehicle. I said that’s nice I’m not paying an extra 2 grand for anything, he became very rude at that point because I explained that I’m not playing games with the price, Acura had a special deal going and I wanted it. The manager then called me and tried explaining that he couldn’t do anything and I was getting the best deal. He also then informed me that my 2020 lease return would need tires and took $1500 off my equity in the vehicle bringing my payment even higher! I told him I’ll go put new tires on it and he then began to back track.Long story short, I called Spreen Acura in riverside gave them one chance to match Acura’s advertised deal and they would have my business. The salesman call me back and said they’d honor the deal and what time would I like to come get the car. I saved over $70/mth on my lease because these guys were straight forward and honest.Avoid this place if you can!!

Definitely one of the best dealershipsIve been to. I didnt get the vibe that they were trying to haggle us at any point and in the end, Zhou was able to get us the right price for my boyfriend and the car he wanted.We purchased a 23 integra manual which was my boyfriends first manual car. We had practiced driving stick on my car, however he had not driven any other manual transmissions.Zhou trusted both of us to both test drive the car and was extremely patient, helpful and personable.They accepted our trade in, even though it was a different make and would not profit them all that much.Overall very satisfied, the whole team was really nice and patient. I would definitely buy from here again.Shout out to Zhou for being so responsive and taking it above and beyond.

Working with Ken Knight made my out of state purchase of my dream car of the MDX Type S a breeze. Initially, I was looking for a specific color combination in the MDX A-SPEC and was trying to avoid the ridiculous “market adjustment” markups that my local dealerships were using. From start to finish, Ken has been the consummate professional. He corresponded with me for several weeks prior to my purchase and has continued to follow up to make sure that I am truly satisfied. It was definitely worth the 5 hour drive and our state’s DMV hassle to avoid a 10k markup. Loving my new “toy” as Ken would remark. My wife is looking for a new car. Kids grown up, wanted something nice. Been looking at Lexus and Audi. Stopped by this Acura dealership and some ole fart of a salesperson told her they only sell F1 performance cars here and she should go to the Honda down the street and stop wasting his precious time. Not sure how this dealership incentivizes for sales but we no longer will do business with this misogynistic dealership. The salesman was Ken. Thanks Ken, you did a great job of lording your irrelevant F1 knowledge over a nice woman who wanted a car.

I recently made a new purchase at Dealership Acura Escondido and was looking forward to the newbie experience. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all I hoped it would be.I would like to highlight the excellent service from 2 staff members, the salesman and the financial director who worked and helped me through the entire process for hours on end.However, I had an unpleasant interaction with the sales manager, Glenn Burger. After purchasing my vehicle, I was handed the keys and just before I could gloat in the joy of the moment, Glenn abruptly directs his attention toward me and states, he wouldn’t allow that I take the car because my initial insurance paper was not enough. He further complained he would not be held liable and lose his job. His solution was to send me home and email him further paperwork. Only then, I would be able to drive back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle.Please keep in mind I had zero interaction with Mr. Burger during the entire process; he never acknowledged us, introduced himself, I didn’t even know who he was. He remained seated in his chair while telling me about insurance paperwork. He did not seem to care to help in any matter and turned his chair and continued to work on his computer.Mr. Burger was very unprofessional and had an unreasonable and negative demeanor. The staff members who helped me with the process noticed his behavior and quickly but discretely handled the situation to the best of their ability. The salesman led me back to his desk and actually helped me find a solution by assisting me in calling the insurance company.Mr. Burger should have explained the situation during the process and not wait until after the purchase was made. Had I known it would have been an issue and saved myself from dealing with Mr. Burger’s attitude I would not have made the purchase. The salesman kindly apologized to me for the negative experience I had with Mr. Burger.Although Mr. Burger called me on my cellphone later on to apologize, he only reiterated he could not let me leave with the vehicle for liability purposes. I reminded him that I was never opposed or argued their policies, but rather disapproved of his approach and the manner in which he addressed me by way of a horrible attitude. He did offer an opportunity for me to discuss my concerns. He clearly does not know how to provide service recovery. I have been a manager for several years at a clinic and never have I treated my direct reports nor patients with such disrespect and unprofessionalism.The purpose for this review is to provide a learning and improvement opportunity. I strongly believe managers should set the precedence for good leaders, and show their staff how to be courteous, respectful, and professional at all times. Customer service skills are essential for sales. Acura is more than welcome to contact me for further feedback.

A high end brand dealership with no loaners. I have an issue with my 2023 RDX I purchased a few months ago that should be covered by the warranty, and they can only offer a shuttle to 15 minutes away maximum. I live 30 minutes away.

I was well taken care of by Charlie. The car was completed when he said it would be. It drives great and they cleaned it beautifully. I have 2 things that prevent me from giving it a 5.First, service is closed Saturdays.. REALLY??Second, some of the parts prices were pretty high based on pricing from major online sites (not Amazon) and even local Autozone/OReilly. So, not a bad experience, well taken care of, but I think they should not try to make up for 2 years of pandemic losses so quickly :)Im all for businesses making money, but in this day and age, remember your customers NEED to be repeat customers...

Love this dealership...Gary is my favorite person there. He has the patience of a Saint.Update on 2/19/21 I had a 1 PM appointment. Charlie was my service advisor. He made sure to diagnose the sputtering I was experiencing at very low mileage. I had a transmission fluid flush done by Alex who was a pleasure to work with. The car is running better than ever. Charlie is very kind he offered me some of his lunch because it was a 5 hour service. He also offered me a discount because they had the incorrect information and I was not notified that this service was recommended at 50k miles my car only has 55k miles.While I waited Fred showed me a wonderful RDX that I am planning on getting in the near future. During this time of price gouging across the entire new and used car market segment, we found Acura of Escondido to be an excellent choice because of their absence of markup on new vehicles. The vehicle we wanted was available at other dealers but with enormous mark-up, so we worked patiently with Zhou while he worked to secure the vehicle we wanted from the factory. It took about 6 weeks, but he remained honest, transparent, and held to his end of the negotiated deal. It was quick and efficient on the day we pick up the car, and we are grateful to the team that assisted us that day.

I was able to come in and get a great deal on a used car that was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. Glenn was amazing and didnt waste any time and was up front and honest. I looked went to 4 other dealers in the Escondido Auto Park and every one was pushy and I disliked the experience. I didnt trust them. Acuras staff is genuinely friendly from the receptionist to sales to the woman who finalized the purchase agreement to service. I had scheduled maintenance done and they were great! They go out of their way to make you enjoy your experience. My 2017 RDX is in excellent condition. I was not surprised by anything about the car or the sales process. What they said is what they did. Not only did They give me a have a great loaner car but my dealership point of contact in the service department Jose went to bat with my car insurance company when they tried to deny my extended warranty claim. The service department is AMAZING! They are friendly, candid, and truly care about their customers. Brad (the best service man of them all) cleared his schedule to make sure I was taken care of. My car was in the shop for three weeks, and they made sure I had a loaner vehicle to drive the entire time. This was my first time visiting Acura of Escondido (AoE). My first contact with AoE was via email with Jose. He messaged me the next morning after i made a contact request on the website. Things started off very good sith Jose requesting my VIN in order to look up and recalls on my vehicle. After the first day contact was lost. This was partly my fault as i gave a VIN with 1 extra letter in it. And the rest falls on how busy the service center got. Thats excusable, as with only 1 service writer working all week since last week, I am sure Jose got busy. So i attempted to call on Wednesday and Thursday this week. I left messages but got no return calls, so I had to keep calling back to reach a scheduler. Again, maybe super busy, but towards the end of the day a call back should have been made. By close of business (CoB) Thursday I got an appointment booked for Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, I had to push my appointment back an hour, which AoE did without question or issue, very accommodating! When i finally got to AoE for my service, Jose greeted me, snd got me setup for a service and alignment. We talked about my emails and we was super apologetic and thanked me for understanding what i explained a few sentences back in this review. While waiting for my service, I looked around the showroom, snd met with Glenn (Sales Manager) and talked PMC vehicles for Acura and Acura vehicle ownership. Within 75 minutes my car was finished, washed, vacuumed and ready to go. Jose and Glenn were very accommodating, professional and without doubt 2 dealership members I will remember from my experience at AoE. While some issues arose, I just cant bring myself to mark AoE down for any worng doing. They seemed to be a very busy service department, not their fault for sure. I advise checking them out, they may have something you like.

An excellent experience. I brought my car in for its first service (B1), which is basically tire rotation and oil change. Because it was estimated to take one hour and forty minutes, I decided to wait. Charlie was able to put an additional technician on the job and it was ready in slightly over an hour ... including the wash.Charlie also gave me a complete report on the status of the car: battery health, brake life, etc.

This was the BEST experience for me and my wife in a dealership so far ! Usually I hate going into dealerships because of the salespersons, that are trying to push you to buy the vehicle no matter if you want it or not. This was not the case with Acura of Escondido. Very nice people, very good customer service. We test drove a car, and actually decided to buy it on the next day. We went back to the dealership and we were welcomed from the same nice sales person Abby ( sorry if I spell it wrong).The actual paperwork and prepping the car took less then a hour. Everything went excellent! The car was detailed and filled with gas, also they gave us warranty. We are very satisfied customers!!! They registered the vehicle for us as well, which was a not easy thing to do since we live in another state, saving us ton of wasted time in the motor vehicle dept. He was supportive of me going to get some food and then coming back. There was no combativeness. It was awesome. I came back, & Gary was busy, but I worked with John to talk numbers, and I was EXTREMELY impressed at how everything went.I had multiple quotes from every dealership in SoCal, & they met my lowest quote (of course the head boss threw the typical guilt trip my way about how it was too good of a deal), but the whole numbers game took maybe a half hour.Then came the finance office - thats where you usually get ripped to pieces on the price, but that never happened! WTH?? The girl (last name Hernandez) was so chill & friendly. While she tried to add things on, the pressure was no biggie. Easy peasy. Not your typical finance office person behavior.Overall, this was hands-down the best car purchase I have ever made (Ive purchased 3 other new cars). Not sure if they even care much about the customers or the cars that they sell...Supposedly, they do a thorough inspection on their certified pre-owned cars but after coming home with mine, found two days later than they had forgotten to check thoroughly and there was paper placed for when they did a touch-up paint job...this paper was blocking the proper airflow to the radiator. Just glad we found it early enough to not cause any overheating. As we all know shopping for cars can be very stressful and time consuming. Normally it takes weeks or months to ponder and negotiate. I’ve been car shopping for about two months to make sure I really liked what I was getting. Honestly I was starting to think I wasn’t going to be able to get what type of car I wanted and was going to settle for whatever because I was starting to get overwhelmed.To my surprise, I came in on June 19 and was greeted by Zhou who showed me the car I was looking for and I bought that car the same day. He knew everything about the car I wanted. He answered all the questions that I asked and made me feel very confident about the car. I really appreciate how friendly he was because I told him my budget and what I wanted, he was receptive to it and did not make me feel uncomfortable.When I left the dealership with my new car he gave me his card and said let me know if we could help you with anything. The next day I was sitting in the back seat of my new car and realized the passenger lights was not turning on and I texted him about it. Within minutes he replied and said there was a button in the front I needed to press to be able to turn the lights on. He was right, the lights in the back passenger seats turned on with the push of that one button.I am so grateful I purchased my car at Acura of Escondido, their customer service from Zhou to their GM was very friendly and easy to work with. It’s very refreshing and comforting to see smiling faces during a stressful time. I would definitely refer my friends and family here because of how I was treated. I called Acura Escondido about a car advertised on Autotrader and the sales rep answered my questions went out to the actual car and verified it was on the lot and had the features I was looking for. We got a great used car for a great price and the everyone in process was awesome Kent was the first person I spoke with on the phone he was awesome. Abby was our sales person and she was great from dealing with my elderly mother in law who was, well we will just say difficult and Abby was professional and courteous the whole time. They even discounted the car a little bit from which was below fair market price. I feel bad for not remembering our finance representatives name but she was AWESOME and found us a decent rate with SDCCU then when they fell through she fought for us and got us an AMAZING used car rate 3.89% for a 2014 car with North Island Credit Union. She even helped out with the pricing of the aftermarket warranty. Overall it was one of the best vehicle buying experiences Ive ever had. And ive owned more than 15 vehicles in the last 15 years. If I was going to buy another car I would start at Acura Escondido.

I told him what I was looking for in a car and he found what I wanted. I drove the car and loved it. I started thinking about buying a car since July and my first time buying on my own. I went through Costco program and it’s referred me to Acura of Escondido. After submitted my information, the very next day, I get a phone call from Phil Cabuzzi whom is my sales guy. I told him my situation and said I will call him back when I am ready to buy.A little over a month later, I give Phil a call back and he remembered me. Also, remembered exactly the car I wanted. A couple hours after I got off the phone, I went down to meet Phil. He gave me a warm welcome to the dealership like a friend that I know for a very long time. I didn’t feel like I was going to get cheated or ripped at all.Over the course of three weeks trying to get approve due to past history. Phil was there the whole time. DO NOT SPEND A DIME OF YOUR MONEY FOR THESE CROOKS. I spent 70k at this place in 2 days buying 3 cars. One there were no problems with but the other 2 have been headaches since Ive owned them. One of them the messed up the paperwork and they actually still own the car. So when I asked them about it they said there was nothing they could do and I would have to figure it out on my own at the DMV. The other car left me on the side of the freeway 2 days after I bought it. I called and they said well if you get the car here we will take a look at it. They fixed it good enough to get it to run past my 30 day warranty and on day 34 it broke down again. I never went back there I just fixed it on my own. Now Im trying to sell the other piece of junk that they still own and they are not working with me at all to take care of the problem that their stupidity has caused. Money is tight for everybody these days I suggest spending it at an honest place. Dont let these people steal it then tell you its your fault for bringing your business there.

My wife and I had a GREAT experience getting our new 2016 TLX at Acura of Escondido. Our salesperson David Yergeau. was very helpful and understood which exact TLX we were looking for and did not try to sell us any other model/package or color (exterior or interior). He asked what monthly payment we were looking for and made it happen! He didnt come at us with a monthly payment $200-300 over what we told him we were looking at. He also worked with us on the little details to seal the deal. And although he didnt have the exact TLX model/package and color (both exterior and interior) we were wanting, he and his manager were able to locate one and have it there the next day. Zhou is a very pleasant sales agent to work with. I met him when I took my 2017 Acura TLX for service. I was browsing on their inventory in the parking lot when he approached me. He asked me if I am looking for a particular car and I said yes, for 2020 Acura 2.4 A spec. I asked him for a particular color that my wife preferred unfortunately the color do not come with the model that I am looking at. I thought that will be the end of our conversation as I told Zhou I will not have my wife drive the car that she is not happy with. I had multiple offers from a different dealers within 25 miles radius. Two of the dealers offered me a better deal than Acura of Escondido however, I felt more comfortable with Zhou since weve had multiple conversations since the first day we met. Zhou is very persistent in a good way. He makes me feel that he really wanted to earn my business. Zhou is very transparent and direct, I gave him my offer (contingent to my wife approving the color) and he told me lets get it done. So 7 days after I met Zhou we got the TLX A spec. I could go on and on for Zhou review but I still have to review other departments. I highly recommend Acura of Escondido if you are shopping for a car and if you decide to buy, I am certain you will be happy with your buying experience. First of all we just stopped in to just look at the ILX’s and not purchase anything. After looking on the lot and not being able to open a vehicle we walked inside. We were greeted by Peggy, the manager of the Escondido Acura. She apologized for their store being so busy on a Saturday and their salesman and women were all busy with other customers but she would find someone to help us until another sales person was available. Alex was available after the initial greet with Peggy and Alex gave us a run down of the different Trim models of the ILX. We test drove the ILX with Tech package and immediately fell in love with everything about this vehicle had to offer so we sat down with Alex to discuss or options to purchase and our trade. They (Alex and Peggy) worked out a deal that was hard to refuse and acccepted their offer. They even threw in a rear spoiler after my wife said she wouldn’t own a ILX without having a rear spoiler.We returned a few days later to have them install the rear spoiler and they provided a courtesy car to take home free of charge while they were working on our car.Charlie and Jose took care of us when we brought our ILX in to have the spoiler installed. Charlie is an exceptional Service Manager that took care of all our needs and directed us to the service cashier for our loaner vehicle.Sierrah was the cashier that got us through our paperwork for our loaner. She has excellent customer service skills and a answered all our questions about the TLX loaner vehicle and some knowledge about our ILX purchase too.Overall, my wife and I had the best Customer Service Experience with this Acura Dealer and we will certainly let our friends and family know where to shop for their next vehicle. Another pleasant car leasing experience from Peggy at Acura of Escondido. Our new 2016 MDX is the 6th car weve leased from her in the last 15 years. We moved away from SD 11 years ago, but always come see Peggy when the lease is up.This time we were SoCal for vacation and we were approaching the mileage limit on our Pilot so we decided to stop by and see Peggy. Before going to Acura of Escondido, we went to a couple other dealers in the area as we hadnt decided what make and model we would get next. Those experiences were the ones you always hear about. Ive taken my MDX here for a handful of times. Ive always been happy with the quality of the service and the professionalism and courtesy of the service advisors. However, the prices have gone up so much compared to 2 yrs ago. In one instance, I had to pay 35% more for a rear differential fluid change.My MDX is already out of warranty. I think its time I get it serviced elsewhere instead of taking it to the dealer for everything. If not for the high prices, I would have given this place a 5 star.

I am well versed in the art of auto buying as I have some very good grasp of the car buying / selling ins and outs, from the inside as well as from the outside (as a consumer). Translation: Im tough but also fair minded.At Acura of Escondido, I felt very welcome from the very beginning when I started to shop online. Zhou was my sales representative and he understood what I was looking for, without wanting to waste my time or his time. When I finally visited the dealership to make a deal (remember that there is no deal until you sit down at the dealership to make a deal) there was a misunderstanding on my behalf but Zhou kept his cool throughout. Zhou handled the liaison between me and his sales manager (Glen) and also his GM (Craig) very admirably while keeping me from walking away. My friend and i drove down from LA to look at a car on special they had. It was a car they took in on trade. UPDATE 1/26Updating my review due to the integrity that the General Manager Ray has of this situation. After my complaint filing through BBB, Ray and I had a few email correspondences regarding the situation that occurred. He agreed that it was the fault of the dealership and submitted a check for the difference and apologized for the bad customer experience. Ray was prompt, responsive and acted with integrity and responsibility to remediate the situation. I only wished that Ray had stepped in from the very beginning to avoid all the troubles that occurred following the incident. However, I am pleased by how seriously Ray took the matter and how willing he was to justify the situation.----------------------------------------------------------------------I had a great experience at Acura of Escondido 3 years ago on my TSX lease. With my lease ending soon, I decided to contact them again to lease a RDX. I contacted John Greiner via email and he offered an amazing deal on an RDX AWD. He wanted me to close the deal on Friday but due to other personal appointments, I was not able to get to the dealer until Saturday morning. I spoke to John via phone and email documenting verbally and on email that the deal will still hold on Saturday morning. I drove 30 miles up to Escondido Saturday morning and met with John. He then proceeded to tell me that the deal expired on Friday and they cannot fulfill the commitment. Despite the verbal and email exchanges documenting that the deal was confirmed, they backed down their offer. This behavior was completely dishonest, irresponsible and disrepectful to the customer. I wasted my time and my drive up due to lies that John and the Acura sales team told me. I was tricked to make a trip up based off of dishonest and untrustworthy words. Shame on me for believing and trusting them. Shame on them for conducting business in this way. I took my business to Kearny Mesa Acura. Acura of Escondido will never get my business again.

I have owned an Acura for more than 18 years, in fact my family has two now, but never again. Acura sent a letter back in February announcing a warranty extension for excess oil consumption and promised to fix the issue if I had the car tested 3 times to verify the problem. I did exactly what I was supposed to do and had the 3 inspections that confirmed the car was losing 2 1/2 quarts every 5000 miles! The burn is so excessive that the oil warning light was coming on before the next oil change. That was back in July and I still have had no response from either Acura or Acura of Escondido and now the time has elapsed for the repairs to be made under warranty. Coincidence? No chance. They deliberately ignored me until the deadline passed to avoid having to fix their own admitted problem.

This is the worst dealership I have ever been to in my life.Had a car come in there for a recalled part, the part was not fixed correctly, and when asked to speak to the general manger i got placed on hold and told 5 times he would call me back. My wife and I were looking at the RDX and was very interested in it but, they did not have the color combo in stock nor any dealers around. So after days and weeks went by, we started to look at the MDX and different other brands. When must of seen john about 5 to 8 times within a 5 weeks period but, he would always make time for us. If he was tied up with a phone call or dealing with another customer, he would still make time for us with any questions and test drives. After several weeks went by we came down to look at their used RDX and saw John for a test drive. Behold right in front of the used RDX a new RDX with the exact color weve been looking for was right there in front of us. Long story short we bought the NEW RDX from John G. He showed us great customer service and earned our feature business.

My wife was looking for a new car, I was also maybe interested, checking online we liked how the Acura looked.
