The solar for my pool was installed in 2019 and I really appreciate the help received to help me turn the solar system on. Also, recently I had a leak and Clark Rich quickly took care of the problem!

Buyer beware!!!They installed this solar water heater in my fathers home about 7 years ago. It does not function properly and I have left several messages for service. If they answer they are so nice and helpful but nobody ever calls me back. This system can only be serviced by them. What a scam!!! Oh and don’t get me started on the coat of it all… crazy to think they can take you for that much money and then never call you back when it’s having an issue…. So if you are looking at using this company beware that you may pay them thousands of dollars and then NEVER hear from them again!!

Fantastic experience with ACR Solar! I started planning my project a few years ago, and Al was generous in discussing the merits of a solar thermal water system in addition to the PV solar system. I appreciate that the ACR sources panels locally, that they have been in this business a VERY long time, that their pricing was very competitive, and I appreciated their professionalism along the way. Now both systems are fully installed on my new home and Im looking forward to enjoying the benefits.

Were so pleased we went with ACR Solar to install our solar panels. They were absolutely professional, courteous and committed to best customer service at all times. From survey to design approval to the actual installation, it is a long process. They were true to their slogan quality, value and integrity all along. We got to experience this with just about everyone from the office staff to the work crew. Id highly recommend ACR team to anyone thats looking to go solar. I have a 30-year-old Barrel tile roof and some under lay that needed some TLC as well as two solar Hot Water Pannels that needed to be remounted. They were installed 30 years ago as well when the roof was put on. Most companies either do roof or the solar. Not both. And being cement tiles not many takers. Found ACR while searching the web and it was the best thing I could have done. The estimator came out the next day, I showed him the price just for the roof from another company who did only roofing, not solar panels. I wanted to just hire one company to do both. ACR got on the roof and took pictures. They came back with the price that matched the other company and for a few dollars more remounted the Solar Panels. Soon after C.E.O.Joe Petersen and his Crew consisting of Brian, Jessie, and Robert came out. What can I say, These Guys were Friendly, and Professional in every sense of the word. And Hard Workers!! These Guys were MACHINES! Took two days to complete the job. The Price was Great, Roof Looks GREAT and the remounting of the Solar Panels is Excellent. They Cleaned everything up when they were finished. You would have never known they were here. I cant say Thank You Enough (ACR) C.E.O. Joe, Jessie, Robert and Brian. If anyone has problems with either your roof, solar panels or both, Give ACR a call. Trust me You wont be Disappointed.

We highly recommend ACR Solar - they have done ours and several of our neighbors in the Arden Arcade area. They are very knowledgeable and professional and resolved any delays or redesigns. We learned a lot about solar along the way, too. We are generating all of our own electricity and powering our plug in Prius.We talked to the SMUD installer and they also had a lot of positive things to say about ACR Solar.

Great company. They had the solar panels I wanted at a good price. The instalation took a while to get scheduled but during the pandemic it was OK. They also completed the instalation in a day. Very professional and friendly technicians. Everyone in the company with whom I delt were knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them.They did such a great job for my roof mounted solar in Sacramento that I asked them to do a larger ground based system near the coast in the small town of Philo about 3 hours away. We did some of the preparation work ourselves and we had cabins to put up the crew to help keep our costs down. They did another great job. So I still highly recommend them.

The sales staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The product line is up to date with the latest solar equipment available, no old panels like their competitors.... The pre-installation inspection and review was smooth and timely. The installation crew provided professional attention to an in garage, through the roof install....very clean and no unsightly pipes and junction boxes on the outside of the house like most competitors...only a warning sticking on the service panel outside. One roof tile broken during installation and replaced the next morning... Overall, an excellent experience and would highly recommend this family solar business over the big boys, they have everything invested to grow and maintain a terrific reputation....!!

Everything from that point onward has been running perfectly apart from noticing a slight leak at the suction valve on the return pipe last Friday afternoon. I phoned the company, who although handling a very busy workload at this time, managed to fit me for a home visit on this coming Tuesday. Later that afternoon I received a phone call from the President of the company who apologized for the problem, told me that I was still under full warranty and that there would be no charge for any repairs. He identified the problem immediately and gave me a few tips as to how the problem may have occurred and also some ideas as to fix the problem. Following his good suggestions, I performed a couple of minor tasks and for the last 3 days, everything is working perfectly once again and I have cancelled the service call.These guys are great and I cannot recommend them highly enough! This experience is yet another classic case of customer service at its finest in the manner with which ACR Solar deal with their customer base.Thank you very much.6/10/2021 - Another 5 star Customer Service activity was just performed by ACR Solar this morning. I phoned the main office earlier today requesting an appoitment for someone to assist me in making some minor programming changes to the main solar and pool pump. I was immediately tranferred to Clark Rich who was out in the field and who told me that he would be happy to stop by the house on his return to the office in a couple of hours. Within two hours Clark arrived, helped me program the pump and everything is now running to my complete satisfaction. Clark also gave me some additional education regarding the workings of the solar system on the roof, a refresher on Autumn and Spring maintenance and of course, software programming of the pump itself. There was no charge for this visit. These guys are tremendous and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you ACR Solar!

I interviewed 4 solar installers before selecting ACR Solar. Theirs was the most professional, competent, timely and intelligent installation proposal by far. Their work has been excellent in quality, communication outstanding and everyone in the organization knows what they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone installing solar panels on their home.

We had a very good experience with Chris from ACR Solar, he went above and beyond to help us straighten out our issues with our Solar, he even went out of his way to clean our filter as it was extremely clogged up with some weird blue stuff that has been plaguing our pool. I purchased my solar electric panels from ACR in December of 2015 and it was a great experience. George was our sales person and he was extremely helpful in getting the correct number of panels and the best price for them. They are a great company and if I ever move I would call ACR Solar to have solar put on my new home.

Hubby and I used ACR Solar for solar heating for our pool. We are extremely happy with their work, customer service and price. Aaron was our sales person and he was great about explaining options and what was going to happen. ACR even took care of all our HOA paperwork and city permits. They scheduled inspections and handled the rebate process with SMUD and the pump manufacturer. The office staff were great as well as the installation team. We had a small issue with remotely controlling the waterfall. We spoke with Al Rich the owner directly and they found a solution quickly, installed it immediately and showed us how to use it. Our pool is now 88 wonderful degrees and we can control our waterfall though an app on our smartphone. This whole process and experience was the best service experience we have had in a long time. We chose to call them because of all the great reviews, and heres one more . They were great! Highly recommend!

Many thanks to ACR Solar for the quick and efficient (if a bit pricey) repair and upgrade to our home PV system. Sadly, the solar tiles we had previously leaked in rain, and did not provide as much power as we had hoped. Solar panels were greatly superior. And ACR Solar provided training and much-needed post-installation support.

Had a roof leak on my home. Obviously this becomes a problem when it rains. There was a lot of rot and corrosion under the roof.Call Joe PETERSEN he was fantastic and easy to work with. Professional, on time, gave me a great estimate, had his team come out and repair all within two weeks.Can’t recommend these guys enough five stars. Thank you guys very much.

ACR Solar and Dvora N. were very helpful and diligent with their work throughout the solar panels and backup batteries installation process, before, during and after. Dvora was thorough, persistent and ensured that we received State of California Self Generating Incentive Program (SGIP) money months after installation. I highly recommend ACR Solar and their services.

This is most honest hard working solar installer in our greater area. Last February, I just have them to added-on 3 extra panels it total; 18 panels. My DC voltage has gone from 300 volt to 350 volt. The results in both cloudy and sunny days. From early morning to late evening, as my production has hang on even longer than before. Even in early spring with full overcast days, I had made overall 10 kilowatts per day without seeing sun. Believe it or not, I still doing net-power toward the grid even in fully overcast days. In heavy rain; my production is 500 watts. Full overcast without rain; my production is 1,500 watts is based on high-noon time. This photo has said it all.

ACR Solar has been a fantastic vendor. In five years Ive had two issues, and in both cases the team came out and promptly addressed the technical problems I was facing. They communicated clearly and their service team was friendly and efficient.
