I was nervous about my very first chiropractic appointment, but was instantly put at ease when I walked in and was greeted at the front desk. Dr. West was very kind, professional and knowledgeable about his work and I am hopeful that he will be able to help! He asked questions, listened to what I had to say and spent the time to get to know my condition. Looking forward to the next appointment!

It isa relief to visit such an incredible team. I often start my morning and usually most of my day in discomfort and I must say that the Dr. and staff here at ACME Chiropractic are a breath of fresh air in my routine. Every visit was a relief for my lower back and sciatica. After my accident I wasnt sure if Id ever be able to walk or sit comfortably again. I Trust Dr. Damon West entirely and I got better after every visit. I recommend this Chiropractor to anyone that is willing to recover and be in comfort and good hands.

I had terrible neck and shoulder pain before coming here. Im always at a desk for my job. It was constant and didnt go away no matter what I tried. After getting X-rays with Dr. West it turns out my neck had no curve in it. The bones in my neck were completely straight - very much not how neck bones are supposed to look. After the first session, I felt euphoric. The pain didnt fully go away immediately, but it only took a few sessions for me to finally feel good again. I havent felt this good since maybe high school and Im in my 30s. Dr. West and his staff are so kind and you can just tell that he truly does want all of his patients to live a happy, pain-free life. You can tell this is his calling. He is excellent at what he does and takes the time to create a very individualized treatment plan. Ive been to other chiropractors and its just nothing like ACME. I will be going here for as long as I live in the greater Sacramento area. Life changing.

I have been suffering shoulder pain for a month. Workouts were at 30%, sleep was terrible, small tasks like getting dressed hurt, picking up kid OUCH, and a constant throb all day. I bought ice bags, massager, etc... Nothing helped. One visit to Dr. West and it is honestly a miracle. Had a great workout this morning and the sun is shining. I highly recommend or insist, if you are in pain, dont wait, go see this guy now!

My experience has been excellent with Acme Chiropractic. I was given a quick appointment, and upon arrival was treated very nice, Dr West was terrific, professional, and explained everything in detail regarding my treatment plan. The office has State of the Art diagnostic & treatment equipment. Dr West is very thorough and explains everything. He personally called to check on me after my first adjustment. Excellent doctoe. Warm friendly atmosphere amongst the busy office. Dog friendly too. I woukd highly recommend this office to care for you.

I am a new patient to Dr. Damon practice and I am beyond impressed. I have worked with several chiropractors in the past, and I can say this is the most throughout and thoughtful practice I have ever worked with. I came in (on very short notice) for an initial appointment for lower back pain. Went through a very thorough initial assessment with Dr. Damon and felt significantly better waking up the next morning. I had a follow up appointment the next day and felt instantly better after the second adjustment and woke up this morning feeling nearly back to normal. I am looking forward to continuing to work with him as I have a long list of back pain issues I have been dealing with chronically over the last decade.

My back went out, thank goodness I had an appointment with Dr. West the next day. Very painful drive down the mountain to see him but it was so worth it! I had also stubbed my toe during the night and thought it was broken. Dr. West took it all in stride, had me lay down worked his magic on my back and toe…..(can you believe it?) and had me back on my feet feeling amazing by the end of the day! I even took the time to call their office to let him know he was a miracle worker! THANK YOU DR.WEST!!! I’m a BELIEVER now!!!

Dr. West has been adjusting me for almost 20 years. I have severe scoliosis, and trust him completely with my spine and health. He is intuitive, compassionate, and continually deepening his skills. He truly wants us all to be healthy and live vibrant lives. My first experience with Dr. West at ACME Chiropractic was in 2004. I enthusiastically remained his patient for two years. During that time, I received the most outstanding chiropractic care as well as sincere compassion and encouragement during a very difficult time. Dr. West is more than a gifted a healer, hes also a genuinely decent human being who treats his many patients with dignity and respect. This fact is clearly demonstrated by the very diverse population of patients he serves each day. Spring forward 17 years to 2023 when yet again, I was faced with another health crisis and a rapidly deteriorating state of health. Despite having a very caring and competent Primary Care Physician, few solutions and little hope was offered. So despite the financial challenges posed by out-of-pocket-chiropractic-care, I called ACME Chiropractic and scheduled an evaluation with Dr. West. Amazingly, he remembered me and we seamlessly picked up where we left off. Notably, his knowledge, skills, and abilities have grown immensely over his many years of practice and its been my pleasure to continue yet again as his patient. Noticeably, my mobility, concentration, and energy level has increased while my pain level and insomnia has decreased. Dr. West has been an integral part of my heath and recovery. I first started seeing Dr.West when I was pregnant. I was so pleased with the time and extra care he took with me. Throughout my pregnancy he made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I didn’t have to deal with headaches and back aches. Recently he has also helped me to recover from and auto accident. He provided me with stretches to do at home and ways to help maintain the work he does in the office. I appreciate all he has done to help me with my health and wellness. This story started September 22 really with a sore back for no particular reason. Didn’t think much of it. It didn’t go away i finally went to my primary care Doctor and got an MRI nothing too bad they said…. But it hurt and Im not a lightweight with pain. So started a long timeline of various treatments: PT, steroid injections, yoga, acupuncture and a Chiropractor other than Dr West. Nothing helped at all!A friend told me of Dr West and I was reaching for straws at that point. Let me just say he is the first professional that said this is not right we are missing something. He did tests and XRays and reviewed the MRI. And he figured out the problem with patience, experience and skill. I felt like i had become a personal challenge for him. I’ve always had adverse interactions with Doctors that have inevitably steered me away from seeking medical assistance if I felt I could “handle it on my own”. Ive had back issues since my teens that have progressively gotten worse as I’ve aged. Dr. West came highly recommended and I can see why. Dr. West was able to treat my TMJ and my jaw no longer clicks & no longer locks up!I had been in pain for years, it kept getting worse, and finally my jaw got stick shut for 2 days (before Thanksgiving!!). Im so thankful I didnt go the surgery route and highly recommend Dr. West if you suffer with TMJ. Its a process to undo the years of damage i let happen, so catch it early and go see him early!

My experience with Dr. Damon West was my first chiropractic experience and I am so thankful I chose to see him. Dr. West made me feel comfortable and I appreciated how he took time to get to know me and my background. I sought out his care at a recommendation from my midwife as my baby was breech and I was 37 weeks pregnant. I had 3 sessions with Dr. West and although my baby did not flip naturally, an external cephalic version (ECV) was successful in flipping my baby and I went on to have a smooth at-home delivery! An ECV is usually only 50% successful and I attribute a lot of the success to the chiropractic care I received from Dr. West. His confidence, experience with the Webster technique, and warm personality are all reasons why I highly recommend him.

This is a great place to go. It always feels like Dr. West knows what he is doing and like his service is personalized to what my body needs. The waiting area is comfortable and Im usually seen within 5 minutes or less of walking in the door! Dr. West cares and remembers things you tell him at previous visits. I had never been to a chiropractor before I received a recommendation from friends to see Dr. West at Acme Chiropractic for my back and hip issues. My friends could visibly detect how crooked I was and how painful it was for me to walk. I could not stand for more than about 30 seconds without discomfort. My friend said Damon is a healer, that was all the endorsement I needed.At my initial visit, the doctor evaluated my condition, took x-rays and made some other observations. A follow-up visit was scheduled to discuss his findings and discuss a course of treatment.I have since visited Dr. West around half a dozen times (a month of time) and my pain has been greatly reduced(almost eliminated), I am able to stand-up straight (not crooked) and my walk is much more natural and not labored. But, after each treatment I am instructed to walk around the block( before getting back into my car) and to be diligent in performing the stretches and exercises the doctor has prescribed. He also gave me permission to NOT do things that hurt or aggravate my back (the pain had begun to affect my personality, my wife will concur!).As I have given feedback to Dr. West about my changes in activity, sleep, food intake, breathing and general disposition his reaction has been ~ I knew this was going to happen, Ive helped people to untwist before, dude!The office is bright and warm, very much unlike a doctors office.Interaction with Dr West is: reassuring, personal, jovial, clinical, professional and really comforting.With each treatment, I feel like Dr West is re-directing my bodys energy to its best path rather than trying to add some implement or chemical from outside of my body to treat a single symptom.Plus, Damon is a really charming and entertaining guy!Id highly recommend Dr West and Acme Chiropractic ~ especially if you are walking around leaning 3 inches to the right(unintentionally)!

I have been seeing Dr West for about 3 months now after relocating to Sacramento from Canada. I am a huge believer in chiropractic and have been receiving adjustments pretty consistently for the past 6 years. I have seen many chiropractors and I can honestly say that Dr West is one of the most down-to-earth, people-friendly, knowledgeable, skilled and trained specialists I have come across thus far. I love getting adjusted by Dr West!!! My dad is a chiropractor and Ive been adjusted by about 20 doctors. Dr. West is definitely on the top of that list, with my dad of course ;) . His technique and approach are excellent, he takes necessary time with patients and really cares about each patients progress. ACME Chiropractic is amazing! I was I totally skeptical of chiropractors but when I began having excruciating lower back pain several years ago I was desperate and felt I had nothing to lose. Dr. West was recommended to me by a colleague who has been seeing him for years. My first visit he evaluated me and knew exactly what was wrong. After one adjustment my pain was gone. I went back weekly until I was able to space out my visits. Then again today I hurt my back. I called and was squeezed in same day (such fantastic, wonderful, above and beyond customer service). After my adjustment my pain is gone again. When my pain was so significant I was scared I would need pain medications to manage my pain chronically. However with regular adjustments I and pain-free. Dr. West is personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. He is the epitome of a true healer. Carly always makes me feel welcome and special. I first called Dr. West on a Tuesday afternoon hoping to see him ASAP, and he got me in the next day. Id thrown out my back cross-country skiing, and everything that I was doing to relieve it seemed to make it worse. It hurt to bend, walk, sit, or stand. Dr. West took a full hour with me to do several diagnostics, including x-rays and other imaging, as well as a detailed patient history. After my first adjustment, I could walk and move freely again. After five more adjustments over less than four weeks, I was not only back to my normal, but better than I recall feeling in years. Dr. West equipped me with maintenance stretches/exercises to keep my back strong and aligned, and Im able to do an extended yoga practice that hasnt been part of my routine in about a decade. I have never been in any Chiropractic for the skepticism of the regular idea Will it work? Is this the best way? When I first met Dr. West I could barely walk or even stand up straight, the sciatic pain was so bad. I had been to five other chiropractors in the Sacramento area before going to Acme Chiropractic and none of them were able to help me. Dr. West took x-rays and explained to me what the problem was and put me on an effective rehabilitation plan. With his help and the help of the massage therapist in his office, Marylyn Duong, I was able to be pain free again. Since that time I have run several Ultramarathons and have qualified for two Boston Marathons. I still see Dr. West once every two months for routine maintenance and I feel great. I still cant play the piano but I couldnt before either.

I had really severe shooting pains running down my leg that was creating range of motion issues. It only took 1 visit to ACME to stop the pain. I did go back for a checkup and everything is great. I can feel a big difference in my overall health since Ive been coming here. I run a lot and my hip had been bothering me from an old bike crash but after treatment I dont notice anything in my hip. I’m an athletic and active 45-year old male (writing this under my daughters account). Suffering from headaches originating in the upper neck, I was out of ideas and thought I’d call a chiro. Dr West was recommended by a neighbor so I gave his office a call. I had never been to a chiro and was suspect. However, he sat me down, listened, gave me 100% attention, and discussed our options. Three visits came and went, and his staff were courteous and his consultations were very professional, but the headaches continued.
