Had mostly good experiences here over the years. Maybe don’t bring modern or exotic cars here. I really like the place, but he was going to fail my car because of his unfamiliarity with the equipment - it actually wasn’t modified - all legal OEM header and cats.

I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER SMOG CHECK LOCATION EVER AGAIN. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE FOR YOU & ME! Other places have you sit outside on folding chairs subject to extreme hot or cold weather. Sit on a leather couch and be assured that theyll treat you right. Theyre nice and efficient. I went to 6 places and they told me their equipment was not working, they didnt have enough experience, they were too busy for weeks or my car was too old!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! SMOG OWNER WAS RUDE!!! Would not smog my car because of a issue he has with a completely legal part. Even after I removed it he wouldn’t smog it because he didn’t trust that I would keep it off! Racist and judging you by your appearance! He has no right to question my honesty but yet yelled at me to leave and never come back. Ridiculous service do not trust this shop!

WORST SMOG SHOP IN BAY AREA!!!!!!!! WARNING!!! Owner had temper issues. Wouldn’t smog my car after I fixed the issue stating he doesn’t trust me to put the part he didn’t approve of back on. Even after ten years and countless smog checks with same car and many others. Not worth your time. Thousands of different shops who don’t question your honesty. Totally illegal what he said.

Bring my car in, he said he can’t smog it because of the cold air intake. Alright, fine, I went to other shops that didn’t care but I go and buy a stock intake off a friend. When I come back, he still refuses to smog, accusing me of taking it off right after I do the test. No winning I guess, I’ll take my business elsewhere. EDIT: to respond to the owner, the modifications were an intake, and a welded differential. The thing that made this shop such a negative experience for me was the attitude and way I was treated (this was my first project car and I had no knowledge of smog). He made me feel like some sort of criminal, even though I was actively trying to do it legally. I had to put in a month of work and $500 to do it the legal way. He would not even give me a chance. Seriously, this guy will not be happy if you show up with anything after market on your car (even non emissions related)

Never knew getting a smog check could be a positive experience. Speedy and professional services, guy at the front desk was superb! The lobby is also REALLY nice. Took me about 30 minutes and $65 to get smog check. More expensive for older vehicles.

Its that time again or the first time for a California Smog Check yippee! Accurate Smog Check is the go to place for a no nonsense, accredited, efficient Smog Check. Not the cheapest but nothing slimy about this place. Always friendly staff, clean car themed waiting room with comfortable seating.

I found yet another gem! Who doesn’t need a smog check? Found this place on a whim. I showed up on a Saturday without an appointment and was in and out in less than an hour. The Owner is really nice and they don’t overcharge like other smog check locations. Highly recommend!

Fast Smog on Winchester was my go to place but once it closed, I decided to check out Accurate Smog Check due to the positive Google reviews. This is a great place, very friendly and super reasonable prices. They have a $15 off coupon on their website which brought the total to $50! Cant go wrong coming here.

Cool, clean office with fun decor and a pleasant place to wait the short 20 minutes it took Paul to inspect. Haley at the front desk was friendly on the phone plus smart and helpful in person. Price reasonable and info goes straight to DMV and AAA. Highly recommended.

Promp, efficient and the shop is easily accessed from different directions. I did not have an appointment since it is first come, first served but I did not have to wait for more than about 5 minutes until my car was being tested. I drive a 20-year old Jeep that is well-maintained so it passed with no problems. I also downloaded a coupon that reduced the cost of the test. We have been taking all our cars to Accurate for the past few years and will continue to do so in the future.

Quick and friendly. I would recommend this place whole heartedly! They even lubed my squeaky car door hinge and pointed out that one of my tires was very worn and needed replacing. Definitely smogging all my vehicles there!

Not much to say. I came about around 10am on a Saturday morning. The smog test was completed within 20 minutes and I was out of there promptly. Dont forget to print out the $15 coupon online. $50 is very reasonable for a smog test. No complaints, very pleased with the service.

Loved everything! They were super careful because of Covid-19, taking the utmost in precautions to make sure everyone was kept safe! Very fast & efficient! The owner, in our opinion was perfect! Coupon available on their website. Fast and competent. Comfy waiting room, or walk to Charlie Rose across the street to browse baseball/softball gear. Typically 15-20 minutes in-and-out. Can be a bit longer if they are backed up, but usually they are quick.

The gentleman who did my smog check went out of his way to make sure I was thoroughly understanding the condition of my car and the circumstances that needed to take place in order to prevent future problems. The customer service was excellent and I would recommend this place to anybody who needs to get a smog check and wants that small-town feeling to overcome them when they visit.

Best smog place around. I had some problems with an older car this past year that took me 9 months to pass smog. Paul and his staff patiently tested my car again and again, often pretesting at no charge to help me diagnose the problems. They are fast and efficient with no need for an appointment.

Fortunately, I called first and found their price was not as advertised, so I went to Accurate Smog. I saved a lot of time, got my car smogged, and am a happy camper. They also smog RVs.

Not sure why this company is still in business. Huge $$$$$ off!Was taking all our vehicles in for years assuming this business was fair pricing.. NOT! Look around..3xs the cost of your normal smog..tried to smog our motorhome and didn’t pass. He couldn’t reset OBD.. told us several times to drive it.. at the time this was a huge inconvenience but we did do it(100 miles each time) he still could not reset..we took to another smog place and they said a very common issue and cleaned contacts. Reset the OBD the same day..this guy has no experience or knowledge to be in this business..we looked around after the fact and found a couple of awesome smog places for was less and extremely fast and professional..if you want to throw out your money, go here.. I value my time and money..

The smog check was quick and painless. I found this place online and there was a coupon, which is why I chose this place. Read the fine print... You have to show the coupon BEFORE the smog check. Keep in mind that you dont pay or receive the actual final price until AFTER the check. I probably wont go back because of this - only gave it four stars instead of three because it is family owned. Learn from my expensive mistake...

Only got 2 stars cause the actual testing was relatively painless. The aftermath of the experience however is why I am writing this review.I was told I had no further obligations to the DMV in terms of paperwork, and that they would send the results of my test to the DMV electronically, and my tags would come in the mail. I asked twice really? TWICE.I had already gotten a ticket for lack of tags (they were stolen) so I patiently awaited the arrival of my tags, without a sense of urgency. months go by and I decide to go into the DMV to ask what the hell happened. They tell me I need a HARD COPY of the smog report.So after being lied to I return to Accurate Smog Check and tell them the DMV needs a hard copy. They tell me its been over 90 days and they have to charge me for another test. Well, their lie, and $65 worth of stubbornness lost them future business from me. They are not as customer oriented as they seem. customer service is tested by bad experiences, not good ones.
