HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION. I’ve got the AC TrackTech T1.7 Lazy Susan to move a Beech 18…hands down, this is the best investment in aircraft management I’ve ever made. With an airplane of this size (conventional gear, 48’ span, 10,100# GTOW) the amount of time saved in maneuvering the aircraft both within and outside the shop is immeasurable as is the enhancement to safety for both airplane and operator…just as easy to move 6 inches or 600 feet. In two minutes the airplane can be driven out of the hanger, turned and nosed in for maintenance…with zero effort. So precise you can park on the same dime every time. Very easy and intuitive to operate. After a single operation you will never want to go back to a tug-tow bar arrangement. These are incredible machines. Customer service is absolutely TOP NOTCH and shipping incredibly fast.

The Yokota AB Japan Flight Training Center and Aero Club recently purchased several larger aircraft and needed a solution to tow/reposition the aircraft on the ramp and in/out of the hangar. After much deliberation we purchased the AC Air Technology AC TrackTech T1X3 Tug. Compared to the competition this device looks purpose built for the job, the price was also very competitive, and the T1X3 Tug was in stock, so we did not have to wait for one to be built before shipping.We absolutely love the T1X3 Tug!! It is easy to use and easy to train new operators on how to use it. Being remotely controlled means that a single person can ensure wing tip clearance moving the aircraft in and out of our hangar. We feel that usage if the T1X3 Tug has improved our safety posture, not to mention it is a lot less effort to move aircraft now.The product performs flawlessly, fit and finish are excellent, it looks very professional; we could not be happier.

The AC Air Technology tug has been great. I move the PC12s in and out of the hangar with minimal risk of hangar rash. My dog thinks its her enemy and loves to chase it every time I use it. Theres no better way to move a plane. And the customer service is fantastic!

I am very happy with my T1V2 Compact Tug. Its exactly what I needed to get my Glasair Sportsman tailwheel over three ¾ high steel rails for my hangar doors and then up a slope that is too steep for me to push the plane without a helper. The T1V2 has plenty of power and traction to make it easy for me to do alone. When the tailwheel is locked into the cradle I have positive control of the plane the whole time.Excellent support and fast shipping.

These tugs are the best. I liked mine so much I bought another larger one for my second hangar. I can get airplanes into tighter spots than I would ever be able to with a tug and tow bar. Having the remote control unit is a must-have, as it permits me to easily check all-around clearance without having to constantly interrupt aircraft movement. It easily handled this TBM850! Attempted to contact AC Air Technology about their tugs after reading some positive reviews online and then being recommended by several pilot friends of mine. Tug looked amazing, but I had a few questions which I asked through the help desk on their site (namely how long the tug would last on a single charge as I use my current gas tug regularly throughout the day). The person I spoke to just gave me a non-answer (pretty much a copy-paste of their description which didn’t have the answer I was looking for; hence my reaching out to them in the first place!) when I restated my question in a slightly different way, the person became rude and combative, telling me that they can use it for multiple days on end at trade events under no load, when I thanked them for that answer but informed them I’d be using it under load and if they could give me a rough idea of the battery time (so I could buy spare batteries to use interchangeably) they cut me off.Follow up emails were equally as rude, one going as far to tell me I was wasting their time. Having read the other reviews, I’m sure their tugs are amazing. Indeed, I share that view, having recently borrowed a friend’s. However, their customer service reps need a bit of customer service training. They didn’t even offer to check with someone (as is pretty common with technical questions, I understand that customer service won’t know the answer to every question put to them), they just cut me off and called me a time waster.I was ready to buy one that day. Unfortunately I will be looking elsewhere for my new tug and will steer well clear of them for now and in the future.One star.

Great tug. I have 2 airplanes in the hangar and must move out the front one to fly the one in back. Really saves on the back. Ive purchased 3 now, because my neighbors keep wanting mine. They keep improving the design and upgrading units. Cirrus has really low clearance on the wheel pants and this latest design fits perfectly. Bonanza, Columbia, 180, Epsilon and Cirrus have all worked fine.

Having both a tailwheel aircraft and a nose wheel aircraft I was looking for something that would move both. The AC tractor fit the bill to a tee. With its low profile, I was able to get under the elevator to reach the tailwheel. This was the only tug I found that could do all that in one unit.

I purchased the T1X2 tug earlier this year, for my 1943 Howard DGA-15P. Andy and his company have built an outstanding product, with great customer service. Being able to walk alongside, vice looking over my shoulder with a driving tug, while precisely controlling the aircraft parking among 3 other planes in my hangar is a godsend. The tug had been bulletproof thus far, and is worth every penny.

I purchased a T1.7 for my Piper M600 couple of months back. It is working great so far. It has enough power to handle a slight incline and able to get out and in. Since it is a remote operated tug, I can walk around while moving the aircraft to make sure I have enough clearance on both sides of the hangar. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a new remote operated tug.

I purchased a T1V2 a few months back to maneuver our RV-10 on slightly sloped pavement. The tug “opens up” the parking area as I am getting older and not as willing to risk getting stuck and having to start up the airplane’s engine to move it. Besides, as an engineer I like to think that engineers make life easier with all kinds of inventions. I believe AC Technology’s critical thinking and inventions are second to none regarding the engineering of their tugs. My tug is mid-size but it is beefy in strength. I very quickly learned to maneuver and felt comfortable with my tug in a few sessions, allowing me to take my eyes off of it and walk around the airplane while moving it. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with answering questions. Someone always answers the phone. Britney was attentive to emails even during busy times such as Airventure. Tracy did the same, tackling technical issues that I had while setting up the tug for the first time. The logistics department worked superbly, from answering the phone, taking orders, packaging, to shipping. The only reservation i have are the batteries. Only time will tell. However, I’m sure engineering is all over it. I love my tug. It is an engineering marvel and It was my early Christmas present!

After years with various gasoline powered tugs and some experience with a stick steer electric tug, I managed to buy a very early, used AC Air T-1 tug. Not only is the tug a wonder to behold but because of age and previous heavy use, I have had the chance to interact with AC for problem solving. They are great! The tug and the company are to be commended. My tug is 10 years old and it works as well as when I got it, thanks to the ingenious design and the availability of new batteries, new treads and the help/support in updating.

We purchased the T1X3 about 1-1/2 years ago, and are still amazed at its performance and capabilities. The company was honest and accurate in their description and promotion of the Tug, and glad we took their advice to buy this one. We have both a Mooney and Cessna (which has a baby-bush tail wheel) and the tug works great on both. We figure buying the Tug has prevented nose-gear damage on the Mooney, which is way more expensive to fix than the cost of the Tug! Excellent product!

I have the T1V2 tug and it is amazing! It pulls my fully loaded 182 across wet uneven grass without missing a beat. I fly off a grass strip and there is only about 5 ft of concrete before you hit grass in front of the hangar and I live in a very wet climate. I had previously tried other tugs and they struggled on the wet grass. The T1V2 makes it easy for me to get my plane out of the hangar alone and go fly any time I want AND put my plane up when I’m done without any help. This thing is a beast!

After 40 years of pushing our Cherokee6, we decided we were getting to old to push it when full fuel. Due to our wheel pans, we bought the tug from AC Air. It is wonderful. I love this tug!The AC Air tug is easy, fun, and the safest way for me to put my Bonanza in the hangar by myself.Other pilots see me using the tug and they often ask where they can get one. It sells itself once people see how easy it is (and I’m not kidding that it’s actually fun!).Additionally, the service level of the company is outstanding. Ive had my Mini for about 5 years. It looks like a toy but it works like a tractor. I have had nothing but care free performance out it this little unit. It is one of the few purchases Ive made that has exceeded my expectations. I dont think they are cheap BUT I do think they are worth every penny.I operate mine standing inside the hangar and bringing the airplane to me as opposed to walking in front of the plane as it backs into the hangar. I have given the remote to others to operate and they have parked the airplane within one inch of the target spot the first time operating it.They are also very nice people to work with.100% positive experience.

Two other guys on my row had these and recommended it, this thing is great. Without my T1V2, I would be unable to get my Stearman in or out of my hangar here in Australia. Every time I use it I wonder why I did not get it many many years earlier.Funny thing, as I age, it seems that my Stearman is getting heavier and heavier? One of the best investments I’ve ever made to maintain my Waco...bar none! Not only does the tug allow me the autonomous ability to fly from a remote airport, it has proven a truly robust assistant. I had the unfortunate situation with my tail wheel losing pressure on a UPF-7, while taxiing for departure. Holding short of the runway, I was almost 1/2 mile from my hangar. Getting dark and alone (with no tail wheel replacement yet) the AC T1V2 towed me right back to my hangar! Thank you all again for an awesome design!

This tug is great for moving my Pacer in and out of the hangar. The Pacer is on bush wheels with a baby bush tailwheel and with the adjustability of the tug there are no issues interfacing with the lager tire on the tailwheel. It’s so nice to be able to walk around the airplane while moving it to ensure wingtip and tail clearances. Also, it allows you to move the airplane further back into a corner or closer to a wall versus a manual tug or other powered tugs that require space behind or in-front (nose wheels) of the plane in order to attach the tug. One con: it is fairly loud when moving.

These tugs, this company, and their employees are truly first class. I just bought my second tug in 2 years from them and they keep getting better. The tug itself is a masterpiece of engineering art. It is incredibly impressive and makes maneuvering planes around virtually effortless. I started with the T1X2 and now have the T1X3 with the lazy susan feature. The lazy susan really increases the maneuverability in tighter areas with a nose gear. I highly recommend!

I. I bought one of the very first units built. It was back at the end of the original prototype phase. I gave Anthony feedback on what I learned from this very first unit. It was a small unit then compared to what They make now. The tug has performed flawlessly for several years now. I use it primarily to move a Stearman bi-plane and a Murphy rebel Taildragger. I have also used it several times to move my Cessna 421. It is not rated for that much weight, but it does a fine job anyway. I have owned several different types of Tugs over the last 30 years. But this tug outperforms them all. It’s easy to use, maneuverable and reliable. Also, it attracts a lot of attention when people see an airplane moving without anybody around.

Weve owned our AC AIR TECHNOLOGY TUG for about 2 years now and It is used every day to tow any one of our 7 aircraft in and out of our hangers and around the airport. This is a back saver, a time saver and it makes it easier to operate our school, Fallbrook Flight Academy. I was considering selling my 1936 Stinson Gullwing. I cant get it out or put it away, even with a winch, alone. I was always concerned about arriving home and finding nobody to help at our small airport. I tried enlisting my wifes help but she isnt strong enough. During my biannual I mentioned to my instructor my concerns. After completing our work we watched a beautiful 450 Stearman arrive at his airport. My CFI walked me over to their hangar and we watched the gentleman put first their Stearman away and then his Navion with the help of their AC Air Technology tug. I ordered one the next week.
