I got home late from school on a Thursday in November last year in Compton, and I thought about taking a Lyft instead of walking home. But the car was involved in an accident when the driver was busy talking on the phone a few meters from the school. I suffered rotator cuff injuries and required hospitalization. So the Lyft driver agreed to pay my medical bills as long as I didnt report him to the police. But then I got angry because he didnt keep his promise. So I decided to press charges, but it was difficult because the police said I tried to cover it up.
