We ordered Vijayawada Panner Biryani and Veg Manchurian.The Biryani was alright, but the Manchurian was super soggy, and it literally tasted like ketchup. The service and the ambiance were good, but the food was just not up to par.

Rode our bikes by, looking for a good lunch spot for 4, doing CicLAvia bike ride.Asked some gentlemen eating on the patio about the food. They responded that they work in Century City and their Indian coworkers come here. They, too, gave it high reviews.We sat, ate and Ooooh’d & Awwwwww’d on every dish.Our waiter gave recommendations, so we followed.AMAZING!!! The flavors and textures!!!It’s on our list to return!!Thank You staff for an enjoyable & memorable lunch!!!!

We got the boneless chicken biryani and panner tikka masala to-go and it was so good we stopped and ate our to-go at the restaurant. The staff was nice enough to notice and bring us water water too. Later that night, even we went to Universal Studios and instead of eating at citywalk, all we wanted to do was go eat our leftovers in the car! Nice place and good menu options. The food was good but could have been better. Yellow tadka dal tasted pretty simple, it should have more flavors, they give you rice as a side to the dal. Manchurian was extremely soft, it should have been a bit crispy.

Local or a visitor, one of the best places to have lunch. They serve a buffet which is unlimited and the taste is out of this world. If youre looking for south indian food this is the place I recommend. I cant believe how they serve such delicious food. I ate a buffet and I cant even point out a single item thats bad. Just close your eyes and eat.

Everyone who gives off a bad rating to this place has either no sense of respect or of good taste in a good place because this place is to die for. I personally fell in love with the Chicken Tikka Masala and its the only thing I focus on there aside from their other amazing foods that have perfect spices mixes and so much flavor in all!! Ive ordered there so much that the waiters dont even have to ask me what I want!! Ive gone to so many other Indian restaurants before but this one beats every single one! Trust me when I say this place is THE BEST and will leave you wanting a food coma!!! 😋😋😋😋 Been going for years and it is still my favorite food ever! We visited this place on Tuesday afternoon as a friend recommended for a good biriyani. Yes! We ordered Vijayawada chicken Biriyani and it tasted good and fresh. One of my favorite Indian buffet places that I am willing to travel 20 miles each way just to eat their delicious quality food. The Abhirchi staff offers great, quick courteous service and the restaurant is spotless.They offer an array of unusual Northern and Southern Indian dishes at moderate prices. My only problem is the naan breads which can taste microwaved and stale.

Excellent authentic South Indian dishes, both vegetarian like sibling restaurant Annapurna down the street and also non-vegetarian. Service is horrible.They are under staffed.Pickup experience is horrible.Pick up was horrible i have called for 2 paneer tikka but they wrote only one. Then not accepting mistake. Also while waiting they say you can sit on table but it will take 20 minutes then restaurant got busy so they kick me out and said that its not for waiting its for dine in, but at first they are the one who let me sit. As the name suggests itself Abhiruchi means zest, desire to eat as being more tasty,(as the food used to be previously) have turned out to be stale and not even cooked and served in authentic, rightful manner. Im giving 5 stars because of the absolutely wonderful taste of chicken biryani and goat biryani. The taste is very authentic and just the right amount of spice. This is the best biryani I had till date after coming to US. I hope they keep serving the same recipe for all. This restaurant is quite busy and we almost went 2 hours before closing, there was only one waiter who was running to do his best. We got our food items late, he apologized. Fraud, bait and switch prices. The prices posted on their website are from before Covid, this is 2023. Prices on the menu are $6-$7 more. Like a few reviews stated, the staff act like they own the restaurant and are too good to smile or pick up plates. Never asked if I wanted more water or anything else. Had a meeting with some friends so we all decided on eating here. The samosa appetizer was very good. The boneless chicken biryani was a little different in that they piled the chicken on top of the rice. It was very good. The chicken kirahi and chicken tikka masala looked and tasted much different than the typical Kirahi and tikka masala I’ve had at other Indian restaurants, but it wasn’t bad. The naan was also very good. Service was excellent.

So we ordered from here the other day and was pleasantly surprised! Butter chicken was soo yum unlike the tomatoey gravy that we found at other places, this was creamy enough and spiced well. So was the goat curry! Both tasted like it would at a typical restaurant in South India. The Malabar fried fish was meh. So was the appam. Their parotta was soft and flaky but overpriced for its size, much smaller and almost double the cost of other Indian restaurants here. To summarise, this place is great for their curries but not so much for their breads.

It’s probably one of the better Indian places in LA. A guy in Noho told me he drives all the way to Culver for this and Mayura. Their biryani is supposed to be really good. I also really liked their spicy fried chicken starter and their jeera rice. The curries were more watery than thick, which I think was a conscious choice, and I think I prefer thick curries, but the flavors were good. Parking in back and cash tip.

I gave excellent rating before. I am a big fan of Indian dishes that are made with Goat meat. Their weekend buffet is really good. The cuisine is mostly South Indian. The food is pretty authentic, even my family visiting from India loved it. South Indian cuisine generally falls on the spicy side, so if you love spicy food you will enjoy it. Needless to say, they have the less spicy options as well for my friends who can not handle spice at all.My request to the owners is - please try to not loose the authenticity. I understand it may become difficult with the demand and competition but a lot of us appreciate and enjoy to have the authentic good Indian food here.

Not only did they send me the two items, the refunded me for that food, sent the two items and on top gave me two free mango lassi!! They really take care of any mistake! I came before closing today. Both Google and Yelp say that the restaurant closes at 2:45. When I came, I was greeted by a very unfriendly host who said, “We are closed!” I said, “I thought you close at 2:45 according to your restaurant’s Yelp and Google accounts.” He repeated more forcefully, “We close at 2:30! We close at 2:30,” while chasing me out of the restaurant. It was the first time I wanted to try this place, but I guess based on today’s experience I will never come here. It is an excellent place if you know what to order. My personal favorites are: Aloo paratha, Apollo Fish, Chicken 65, Abhiruchi Chicken Curry, Chicken Korma, Malabar Paratha.People are nice and the restaurant is spacious. Best biriyani Ive had in Los Angeles.To be honest I moved to LA just within the last year, so there might be some issues with that statement above.Friends in our group chat were discussing where to pick up biryani from in the bay area, which made me crave some good South Indian style biryani as well. They have the best food here. As an Indian, its really hard to find a place with authentic indian food and this place definitely has it. I highly recommend the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken 65. Those are our go-to dishes. Their buffets are also really good, but havent had those since before Covid hit. The paneer tikka masala was good but one-dimensional in terms of flavor.For non-veg options, the boneless chicken dum biryani was flavorful, savory, and with well-cooked chicken. There is a large selection of dishes to choose from and most of them are absolutely delicious. Till date, I have tried several types of Biryanis - Indian (Awadhi and Hyderabadi), Pakistani, and Bangladeshi. :DI believe Biryani is one of the most difficult food items to prepare. I know vendors who use more than 57 spices in their blockbuster recipes. Biryani preparation is an ART! Only 4-5% of vendors/restaurants in an Indian city such as Lucknow or Hyderabad get it absolutely right!Abhiruchi Grill is one of those vendors/restaurants that live in a bubble and claim that they are well known in LA for their famous Goat Dum Biryani! However, their Goat Dum Biryani is AWFUL! It is too spicy and has an overdose of achari (pickle) flavour. Achari flavor in Dum Biryani! Catastrophic!To my surprise, this restaurant has got good reviews on Google and other platforms. It seems some people who visited this restaurant do not possess in-depth knowledge on Biryani. Dont get fooled by the restaurants name Abiruchi (translates to good taste). Not recommended for vegetarian buffet.1. I went here for buffet and it was worst buffet ever. I also ordered biryani other day it was good but buffet was worst. They had chicken appetizers and chicken curry both are worst. I will never go back for buffet here.

Twelve of our friends went for a Sunday lunch only to fall sick with diarrhoea and vomitings..The vegetarian food was far below average.lamb was served in the name of goat and the so called goat biryani was brought straight from the microwave..Skip it is my honest opinion

Nice place with options for vegetarian and non vegetarian food..its a combination of both north and south indian food.taste was ok for vegeterian as i have had better food at other places.only thing i would suggest is that buffet could either be totally south indian or totally north indian as combination of both may want you seeking for more and may leave one unsatisfied.also desserts could be better

Restaurant closes at 3 noon but kitchen closes whenever the staff wants to do so. We called them to ask for the closing time and they said kitchen closes at 2.45. We managed to be there by 2.40 and they the guy says we are closed and you need to be here at 2.30. What the Dal!!!

Lunch buffet is good, do try it.Egg biryani and veg biryani is good.panner tikka masala was really good. Roti was soft and well done. Gajar halwa was no good.
