Better than online! I had some questions about buying my first Miele vacuum and decided to go into a local authorized vacuum store instead of buying online and did not regret it one bit. Mike is so knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to help me open up my vacuum right there in the store and go through how to use it and all the tips and tricks he had. He even showed us the best way to use it to maximize the lifetime of the vacuum. Such a humble owner.

Mike is knowledgeable, a true craftsman of his trade and he worked hard to get our old sewing machine into the best working order it could be. I found him to be very down-to-Earth and helpful with our needs and he performed the work quickly even though we forgot to provide the power supply for the machine! Will definitely be coming back for future services and repairs.

I took my vacuum in for repair, picked it up and it looked brand new! Got it home and couldn’t wait to vacuum, seriously! I called this place because I read good reviews. Unfortunately my experience was different. I was told by phone change a belt for my vacuum will cost $15. But when I was there a different person said this belt was special 😲. I was charged $26. I changed the belt before by myself. I paid $5 for the belt in Walmart. Nothing special. Walmart didn’t have it, that’s why I went to this place. When I asked to see if the problem was solved this person didn’t want to turn it on because his place will get dusty. 😯.

They offered the best service, and are the most kind people in town. The store is very neat and displays various kinds of dealerships of sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. I had to repair my OREC vacuum cleaner because of many years use. They fixed it nicely and kindly. I would highly recommend this store; you can trust and depend on those people who work in the store. Just like a car, a sewing machine has movable parts that need to be oiled and serviced regularly. When I bought my Bernina Bernette 55 sewing machine almost 20 years ago, I didnt give a second thought as to how I would care for its maintenance. When I recently dusted it off, it felt like it was sticking. When I asked my sewing teacher to try it out, she recommended that I get it serviced. So, I dropped it off right after class on a Wednesday. I specified my preference to pick it up by Monday, if possible, but understood that it might not be ready that soo, as their policy is a one week turnaround time. They ended up having it ready for me when I wanted it. Im happy to have someone professional, reliable, and close to home for my sewing machine maintenance. Ill probably bring in my vacuum cleaners next.

I took my companys commercial vacuum in to get repaired as this was the closet place to us and I am glad I did. There arent many Miele repair shops out there and I have to say if they are all like ABC Fullerton you are in good hands. The owner serviced my C1 machine quickly and professionally. So my wife has not been happy with her dear old 1949 Featherweight candy apple red sewing machine since she had it painted some time ago. So she just took it in to Mike at ABC in Fullerton. Mike diagnosed the machine and provided a reasonable estimate promptly. He did a great job fixing it, explaining what he did, and schooling us on the finer aspects of this great sewing machine. When we got it home, she tried it out. She was beside herself. It now works the best ever. It even sounds better. She is so happy with it. Only one problem now... every time I walk by, she smiles at me.Please tell her to stop.Great job Mike. Thanks.

I had taken my Singer sewing machine to another local shop and I was not impressed. I told the guy that the machine skipped stitches when I dropped it off and when he called he said that it did not skip for him. I paid him and took it home to find it still skipped! Instead of taking it back I went to Mike after reading his wonderful reviews.Mike called me after he had went through the machine and informed me that the clearance between the needle and the hook point was too wide and that was why it was skipping stitches. He also informed me that the machine needed to be lubricated in the areas that needed the covers removed to get to. The other shop said they serviced the machine but they must have done a quick job and did not remove all the covers!I told Mike to do whatever the machine needed. My machine sounds and sews I think better than when I bought it!! I am telling all my friends to go see Mike.

I had taken my Miele vacuum to another local shop to get it repaired and they did not repair it even after three tries!I took it to Mike and he repaired it professionally the first time!! I have a Dyson vacuum and it hasn’t had much TLC in the last few years. There isn’t a Dyson repair place nearby and I was reluctant to take it anywhere else. I finally decided to give ABC a chance and I am very happy. Everyone was very nice, informative and I think the pricing for repair was fair. They didn’t try to sell me a new vacuum or charge me an arm and leg to repair mine. Even gave me a good recommendation to not get a part changed because it works fine without it and it is pricey. I will definitely be back. Vacuum was also relayed on time as promised.

Mike, the owner took care of us. He was really great!!! Very knowledgeable. Full of useful information. Was very easy going and willing to answer the many questions I had about an IQAir filter (the reason we stopped by). He showed us how it worked and had a cut away model to see the inside of it. Of course we bought one, and he will register it for us to extend the warranty.He also answered many questions about vacuum cleaners. He had a couple of dozen floor models and is very happy to make a recommendation based on your needs and preferences. We will be back later to buy one of those. He also has a several sewing machines, I plan on bringing my aunt by, she does quilting.

All I can say is excellent customer service and professional technical repair work on my SEBO K3 vacuum cleaner by Mike. The vacuum cleaner power nozzle switch no longer worked so I had to bring the unit in for repair. I requested Mike do complete maintenance work on the vacuum also. Mike called me after diagnosing the problem and gave me a cost estimate. After my approval all repairs and maintenance work were completed by the next morning. Took only 4 days...back in business again cleaning house. My wife also brings her Pfaff quilters sewing machine for maintenance work to Mikes repair shop every so many years. She says he does excellent work. Enough said.

Mike at abc in Fullerton has been there I think about 40 years. He has always been the consummate professional, Ive learned so much from this man not just about vacuums and sewing machines but about life and how to deal with all the difficulties therein. His attention to details on his repairs are off the chart. He gives a one year warranty on his repairs! One year! Nobody give a one year warranty on their work, Mike does. He spends the money on original(OEM) parts not replacement cheap parts.I WOULD NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE! As all the other people in his industry around us go under, Mike will be there because hes honest, friendly and he obviously enjoys this work and it shows!

I took a vacuum to him for repairs. He wouldn’t even look at my vacuum until he collected $50. A few weeks later he called to say that it needed a part that he couldn’t get. (Pardon me but if a vacuum repair service can’t get necessary parts who can?) He referred to my still broken vacuum as a “doorstop”.He asked me if I wanted him to, in his words, “make it go away.” So he wanted me to let him keep it. You decide why he wanted to keep it. I told him I wanted it back.He kept the $50 and gave me back the still broken vacuum. His words “ I diagnosed the problem, I earned my money “. I got absolutely nothing for $50.While there the first time dropping off my broken vacuum he tried selling me a new Miele canister vacuum. I was getting such an attitude and bad vibe from him I waited to see how things worked out with the repair. Glad I didn’t buy from him.I found the exact same model (even matched the UPC code to be sure it was exactly the same Miele model) at a competing retail store for $100 less than ABC Fullerton’s price. Plus the competitor threw in a box of replacement filters as part of the deal when I asked.BUYER BEWARE.

After 6 weeks of no luck getting my two favorite Simplicity vacuums repaired at a local Torrance shop, I drove them 30 miles to ABC in Fullerton and within 10 days both were repaired & working like new. These guys are great... reliable, courteous and reasonably priced. Definitely worth the 60 mile round trip!

I have been consistently impressed with the owners professionalism and clarity. We had our old vacuum repaired by him twice and got an extra 4 years of life out of it (it was already 10 years old when we first brought it to him).When ours finally died he noted that most vacuums purchased today (rather than the quality ones he sells) will last 2 years. We chose to take our chances on a well-reviewed cheaper vacuum and it actually lasted less than 2 years.I will always appreciate his clarity, knowledge, and helpfulness.

Two days before Christmas, cleaning, dusting and vacuuming, my rag got sucked up into the vacuum! I tried to push it through the hose with a broomstick and hanger, but it only made it worse. I was looking for a drive belt for a hand held vacuum cleaner. I could not find it anywhere including Hoover. I was told that ABC will have it. The young man went through all his belts and finally found one that fitted well and the vacuum cleaner worked like new. He spent 20 minutes and charged me very little. Excellent service.

I always buy the best tools I can, including vacuums, and I own a few (my family makes fun of me about all the vacuums I own). I purchased a SImplicity/Riccard vacuum at ABC a couple years ago. It was not cheap, but it is THE BEST vacuum I have in my collection and head and shoulders above the others I own including a Kirby, Dyson, Oreck, Sanitaire, and Sebo. It just cleans better and the design is brilliant. It is a joy to use, and once again the old adage, “You get what you pay for,” is true.I have been to many vacuum stores while shopping/researching and ABC Fullerton is the best I have found. Their prices are very competitive. Ironically, many of the other shops I have been to have been disheveled and filthy. ABC is just the opposite. Every time I have been there it has been immaculate with everything neatly arranged. The owner and staff are completely knowledgeable about all of the products they sell (This is not always the case at other shops). I recently brought my vacuum in for routine service and they completed the service in one day. They obviously take pride in their shop and are truly professional.I highly recommend ABC. Again, I have been to many other shops, and ABC is the best I’ve found.

My Singer 301A was a wedding present over 64 years ago. Looking for something new, I sidelined it for a new Brothers machine. After a couple year of frustration trying to work with the Brothers I decided to see if my Singer was worth restoring. Mike rejuvenated it and it works like new! Bought a $1,000 vacuum from this guy and came back after a year with a few questions. He was rude, unprofessional and did not care less that I was a customer. He is sweet as pie if you are buying an expensive machine but won’t answer any questions afterwards without a snarky attitude and poor demeanor.I live in Tustin and work in Fullerton. More nonsense from this guy. Granted I bought the vacuum few years ago, but this guy left such a bad taste in my mouth when I went to lunch across the street today I felt I needed to give a heads up to others.

I brought my Mothers Dyson Vacuum in for maintenance and to be cleaned as there were a few problems as far as it losing suction hepa filters and something else needed to be dealt with. ABC Vacuum handled it quickly and was able to get back to me sooner than expected in fact had to wait a couple of days before I could get back to them to pick it up. The Vacuum looks new again.

I recently took my 1970’s Sears Kenmore sewing machine in as it no longer worked. Once it was diagnosed I had the machine back the following afternoon. It works as if it is a brand new machine. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING FOR YOUR VACUUM START HERE!!!I had an old vacuum that i ran over the hose and broke off the tip. I needed a new hose but b/c my vacuum was old I couldnt order anything online. I came here and they knew exactly what to do. They actually cut off my old broken tip and put a new tip attachment on my old hose. They didnt even charge me labor to swap it out. Fixed my vacuum and was super easy.Vacuum issues give them a try!

I came here today because I wanted to buy a vacuum and wanted to get some vacuums serviced. I asked him his service charges just so I dont pay way too much as neighbors and Google say. So when I entered the shop it looked like I woke him up or totally did something taking him out of his comfort zone by just entering the shop. He looked at me like he wanted to ask me what the hell you want. Anyway I asked him about his service charges to what he said oh all vacuums go on my tae we do a bla bla test and we charge $40 and we test our self coz he is a professional. Wow he praised him self and bragged about his knowledge and his shop and his way of working and his work ethic and told me that he is not selling Chinese stuff and if I need Chinese I need to go to other ship. WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME MUCH. haha worst person and very rude he should be thrown out of the market and business. He is the wrong person in the business where you interact with customers. He maybe good for a workshop where his bad customer dealing will not annoy people but FOR FRONT OFFICE. He is the worst person ever. Also to my surprise he was selling me a SO CALLED Mom and Pop brand ( with paper bags) for 300 plus $ and was criticizing Dyson and other big brands. This guy is the most unprofessional and if he is a shop owner. I feel bad about all who have dealt with him or will have to deal with him in future but if he is an EMPLOYEE I will request owners to just fire him and I promise his business will go to next level as he is a termite which will eat the business eventually by his BAD mouth. hmmmmm am going to say WORST MOUTH. Please beware if you go to this shop ever. Now after writing this review I saw other reviews also WITH THE SAME GUY .... SAME PROBLEM. OVER Charging and Rude to the customers and telling people stories so that he can overcharge them. He is even cursing people on his responses also. Terrible experience - I brought in an old vacuum for repair - he wanted an exorbitant amount of money for the repair - I said I wanted some time to think about it - when I decided to just get the vacuum back, he said he had disposed of it . . . I believe he runs a bait & switch operation trying to force you into buying machines he has refurbished. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN

Nice store and Mr Polite (on surface) but very impatient tone - temperament matters in customer service - never got past intro discussing about repair vacuum vs new vacuum purchase - had one type response each question it not matter either way....then lastly no cant even plug in vacuum to test if turns on......
