This is a top-notch company full of professionals that get thre job done in a timely manner without excessive charges. I would highly recommend ABC to anyone in need of heating/cooling needs. You wont be disappointed!Edit...ABC Heating & Cooling does it again!...We spent the 1st summer in our newly renovated home miserable fron the great! So we decided before summer of 2020 rolls around wed have seen air conditioning unit installed. Well it was a no brainer for us to reach out to ABC once again, since they had done such a great drop undertaking a heater in our rental property.Once again they came through and delivered great, professional service! They were on time, respectful of our home and patient while explaining how to use the unit. Big THANKS to Joaquin, Antonio and Ben for the great installation! Working with ABC has been a pleasure. We installed our heating system approximately 8 years ago and have never been disappointed with the excellent, responsive and pleasant service we have received. Sal was knowledgeable and patient and very professional. Pierre also came out to replace the motor and took the time to specifically show me exactly what and why the repair was necessary. Jeff was my initial contact and it was his knowledge and non-pushy attitude that made changing our heating system easy...quality company.

Justin was great! Very professional and took his time to explain what was going on with my AC unit and my options. Not the best because I’m going to need a new unit, but he was honest and set me up for an appointment the next day for a free estimate. He also gave me info about their regular heat and AC maintenance service. Got bad news, but very happy with ABC service.

I first made contact with Tim, who was assigned to come out and give me an estimate on my AC installation. Tim was prompt, easy to communicate with, and thorough in explaining the process to me in a way I could understand. After talking about my 15-year-old furnace and how it was actually overbuilt for my house, he offered me a second estimate on a replacement for that component as well. The price was so good, I couldnt refuse. Best of all, prior to my install date, Tim informed me he found some better quality Carrier components (as opposed to Lennox) which were in the warehouse, and that he could provide them to me at the same price.Antonio and his team came out for the install and were punctual, quick, and even went above and beyond to rake leaves from parts of my backyard. What a nice surprise! I will be using ABC for all future maintenance and repairs moving forward.

A wonderful experience. Jeff quoted and sold the system and then had a fantastic group of guys install it. Was supposed to take 5 days but took 4. Expensive system but competitively priced. There may have been guys to sell and install for a bit less, but the follow through from Jeff was first class. I liked it so much that I decided to do a second system for my office. Almost $20k more...but I bet it will be just as high quality a job. Everyone was nice, clean and in spite of the heat...wore masks. Highly recommend these guys!

Our old (1996) air conditioner stopped working when temperatures were starting to get into the 90s this summer, of course. It couldnt break when it was in the 80s. Anyway, we got an appointment with ABC Cooling, Heating, and Plumbing for the very next day! Tyler came out and knew immediately it was the capacitor. He fixed it promptly, was very polite, and had us back in cooler air very quickly. Great service! Highly recommended!

ABC helped me out when I needed someone to look at my noisy AC unit since the company that installed it and had been servicing it, no longer valued me as a customer (3 week wait time just to come out at all!!). They came out quickly and diagnosed the issue. My service Tech Eli was great. Was VERY thorough, explained what he was doing, explained how the unit works, etc and finally what the issue was. He got right on the phone to have a replacement part ordered so I would have minimal down time. To be honest everyone I spoke to at ABC was great. The phone was always answered promptly and Micheles follow up with my replacement part was also excellent. VERY GOOD TEAM and I highly recommend them.

This company was super friendly from the moment I called them. My heater broke on what feels like the coldest week ever and I jumped on Yelp to look for help. I found this company and was able to schedule an appointment within 2 days later. I got a time slot for my appointment and an email with the picture and profile of the technician who would be coming. Tyler was our technician and he was very friendly and professional working on our 18 year heater!!! He was able to identify and fix the problem on the spot. He was also very fast and within minutes I could feel the heat in my house again. I can’t say thank you enough!! This is a great company and I highly recommend them!

I have been without heating for almost two days. A contractor was booked. Today I had Justin, a service tech come to my home for the service call. He was less than 30 minutes and the problem was found to be a loose wire. Justin had been here recently to diagnose and fix another unrelated problem. Since the time interval was short since the last service call today was called, warranty repair at no charge to me.I trust this tech and he treats me with honor and respect. ABC Cooling, Heating & Plumbing came to our rescue! Our 20 year old furnace stopped working during the coldest week of the year! We called for an adviser to come by and help with our heating issues. Aaron came by yesterday and explained all our options, prices and benefits. With his help, we were able to make an educated decision and move forward with a furnace replacement. Aaron was able to apply for permits, select the right equipment and schedule the work for the next day. Today early in the morning, The ABC installer showed up, ready to work and get the job done. Both Anthony & Alvaro got to work right away removing the old furnace, clean & prep the area. They installed the new furnace, installed a new programmable thermostat and installed a new filter system in no time at all. I came home from work to find a furnace professional installed, clean work area and a warm and toasty house. ABC was professional in every way! I have used ABC for ONLY Heating and Cooling Service and always found their work to be the utmost professional and the highest quality. This was the first time I used them for plumbing. Even if it was only to replace a garbage disposal I found the technician Greg to be on time courteous and up to the task. Something that would have taken me all day to do he did in a couple of hours. The lady who answered the phone call on a weekend, was reassuring, professional, and immediately sent me an email as promised.An email was sent to inform us what time Steve was going to arrive with his picture so we would know who would be doing the work!The website sites Steve Delaney as a plumbing doctor! He is absolutely that! If i could rate him with 10 stars I would! He knew what the problem was, explained it in layman terms, and went to Home Depot to show what type of toilet would be best suited for our home. The price was VERY reasonable for the service he did. He never cut corners did his job above and beyond any service person I have ever experienced! I have had my home for 47 years so I have experienced several service people.I highly recommend this company for any of your needs. You will NOT be disappointed!

Our furnace/ heater been out of service for a few days. I called several companies but could not get a quick response. I called ABC cooling and heating and the representative who answered the phone was very polite and professional. She was able to squeeze me in same day.Bill S, the service tech came in within the timeframe. Also very polite and knowledgeable. He discuss the process before he started the job. He immediately found the issue and resolved it to our satisfaction. Although he have to come back to replace the broken part that ordered, he made sure that the furnace was working right and we are comfortable. Steven was a pro diagnosing the float switch had tripped. He was fast professional and used booties over his shoes which I truly appreciated. Its worth getting your new unit with ABC as they service their units very well under the warranty plan. I highly recommend them!Pro tip: get your replacement in the late winter and spring when no one else is. It will save you money

ABC was able to come out and fix my furnace within a few hours of my call. (good thing since it is Very cold out and we had no heat) Sal was polite and informative. He was able to fix the problem of today and explain what/ why our very old system was doing what it was doing. We couldnt figure out why we couldnt open the door to change the filter after this company installed a new HVAC a couple years ago. Tech was on time, professional, and wore a face mask and shoe covers. Quickly diagnosed the problem, and showed us how to work the new latch his colleague had installed. Cut and installed a new filter that we can now maintain ourselves. Very reasonable price for house call in Concord.

ABC installed 2 heaters in our home 3 years ago in attic and basement. Installation was done while we were away, and we came home to find heaters working perfectly and everything neat and tidy. Over a year later the upstairs heater stopped working. ABC came out right away and found a blown fuse which was repaired free of charge even though we were outside of the one year warranty. We have just had our first service to prepare for the winter. The technician arrived on time, spent a good 20 minutes with each unit to check it out for safety and performance, replaced filters, and then spent more time answering my questions about different options for heating and cooling. He was knowledgable, efficient and personable. I took advantage of the ABC Guardian Maintenance Plan which covers annual maintenance on 2 units as well as discounted repairs if needed and priority scheduling. Very pleased with service.

ABC Cooling Heating & Plumbing responded promptly to inspect and repair our furnace. The serviceman was quite friendly and competent. When we learned that we were covered by a protection agreement with Sears we informed ABC that we could not proceed further. ABC understood and did not press us further. I liked that. I first discovered ABC at a home show several years ago. They impressed me because they gave me far more useful information that any other company I talked too.I had them in to replace my old furnace. They did a great job including removing asbestos. The city inspection revealed no problems. About two years later I asked them to add an A/C unit. That too went smoothly. Soon after that my water heater started leaking. I was thinking, who can I get to fix this and do a good job? I wish ABC did plumbing. I thought I should give them a call, and sure enough they were able to do that for me too. I had called a couple of other companies but their prices were ridiculous. From now on I wont bother to call anyone else.

Eli from ABC came to inspect the heating & cooling system in the condo. He is very friendly, polite, clearly very knowledgeable, and professional. He checked out the whole system, performed some troubleshooting, and confirmed that the thermostat had failed and needed to be replace. Repair/replacement was done quickly, and the results are great. Thomas did a great job adjusting dampers on our ducting to balance the heat in the rooms in our home. While he was here he noticed a small leak in the drain leading from our furnace and quickly found and fixed the problem. Great service with a great attitude. Highly recommend Thomas and ABC.

We had a good experience dealing with ABC cooling. They moved our appointment up a day, which happens to be July 4th--unexpected but pleasant surprise. Justin shows up in the middle of our 4 hour appointment. He diagnosed the problem, asked for authorization and repaired within 1 hour. He also checked both units for refrigerant levels as requested without complaining. The staffs are courteous. This review is for service only because we did not shop for price.

Ive had an on and off issue with my kitchen sink clogging up several times over the last 5 years and have had non-professional people fixing it. I finally had enough and decided that it was time to get a professional and contacted ABC. Keith knew exactly what to do, what to look for and he fixed the problem. Most importantly, he taught me how to prevent issues and problems from re-occurring in the future and we worked on the issue together. Very thankful for Keith. ABC came out to give me a bid to replace my furnace. Mike explained everything to me very thoroughly. Even though his bid was a bit higher than 2 other bids I got, I went with ABC because of rave reviews from several friends who had ABC replace their furnaces. ABC couldnt come out to replace my furnace for 2 weeks but Mike arranged for ABC to repair my furnace at no additional cost to me. People and businesses with that kind of integrity are the ones with whom I like to do business!

This is our first experience ever needing a HVAC tech/company. Our heater went out after a power outage. I googled an they came up with the highest reviews. Called them and they had wonderful customer service. Got me set up with in the week. Gave me a call to let me know when the tech was close an sent an email with a pic. We had Bill S, he was wonderful and super understanding of our large dogs excitement lol. Bill showed us around our heater an complete his diagnostic. I had my spring service today from ABC Cooling Heating & Plumbing and the customer service I received was great. Twoleaf, the technician, was very friendly, asked me if I had any questions before he started, and explained that I would eventually need a new Capacitor but allowed me to decide when I wanted it fixed. I told him to fix it today, which he did. He did not have the part on his truck but was willing to go to another city to get one and return back to complete the job. I cant believe that he was willing to do that for me so I wouldnt have to call for another appointment. Now days its hard to find this type of customer service. This is why I have been a long time customer of theirs.

I had a tankless hot water heater and a new furnace installed by ABC. Their guys are friendly knowledgeable professionals that arrive on time and finish on time. The communication and responsiveness was great all through both processes of replacing the hot water tank with a tankless system and replacing old furnace. My old leaky hot water tank and furnace just seemed to magically disappear. That was wonderful!From the initial sales call to the final clean up I was completely satisfied. Ive had a lot of bad service the last few years. And it was a relief to FINALLY have service that was, not only good, but GREAT.My AC died suddenly in the middle of the night with the next day being one of a set of 100 degree days. Our technician, Justin, called on his way to my home, arrived on time, got straight to work after greeting me and identifying himself. He walked me through his findings, explained a few things about my AC unit that I did not know (like that it had a timed delay before turning on..something that annoyed me greatly and made me think something was wrong when it wasnt!) and got the unit working again quickly on a very hot day when other companies told me it would be 3 weeks before they could come look at it! (no way!!)Justin also was very kind and went above and beyond the call of duty to help show us how to find and clean the awful...beyond awful...filter on our furnace. Being from the south, Ive never had a furnace....and the home owners before us swore up and down that there were no air filters to change in the house. I knew this had to be wrong. I asked Justin if he could help me figure this out since it had been 2 years and no filter changes... He was more than happy to help me! He cheerfully searched and found none inside the home...then found the terrifying green mat...that was the so called filter inside our furnace! He washed it for us with the hose and replaced it in the furnace but then let me know how to properly replace it for a more healthy air quality. We went shopping for a proper filter that afternoon!He absolutely could have told me Maam Im sorry I only came here for the AC...Ive got to get to another appointment or you have to make another service call for a filter check or any other number of excuses. But he said hed be glad to help me and did! I cant thank Justin enough for the cool air and the better air quality. Already my son has stopped coughing at night! Thank you!!!

Bruce arrived early in the time window, which was helpful, and greeted me and introduced himself. He inspected the heater and thermostat and quickly diagnosed the problem - the pilot generator. He had the part in his truck and replaced it and the heater worked normally and has continued to do so. He handled every aspect of the job in a professional and friendly manner. Contacted ABC to fix a perma-flushing toilet. They kept me informed with notifications for appointment confirmation, reminder, technician dispatch, and completion.Steve D identified the problem right away as a broken fill valve, picked up a replacement from a nearby Home Depot (Kohler parts are all non-standard), and came back and installed it, all in under 2 hours. It now runs better than it did before the breakage. While he was here he also gave me some tips on how to keep the fixtures running smoothly and avoid similar problems in the future.Definitely recommended!

I was very impressed with the level of customer services provided by Gil. He was the second plumber I called because the first plumber did not fix my slow-draining kitchen sink problem. They both used a 75-ft snake but the difference is Gil used one with a larger bit at the tip and he also went into the drain from three difference locations (I have another sink on the center island). My problem was solved finally and I would not hesitate to recommend Gil to anyone needing plumbing services.

Abc cooling came and was able diagnosed my ac problem very quickly. However, I felt that they charge a very high price for replacing a capacitor. $459. Was told that diagnosis can not continue without first for me to agree to put in a new capacitor to start up the ac. I agreed since I was to get the ac working asap. I later checked with other reputable repair companies and found that the other chargers around $250-$300 to diagnose and replace a capacitor. So I felt The pricing of abc cooling is high for changing capacitor.

When I called this morning, it originally looked like they would not make it until tomorrow, however, they said if the job this afternoon was done in time, Greg would be here between 3pm and 5pm. I first heard of ABC in 2011, when I signed up for the Energy Upgrade California program. They replaced my HVAC equipment, including installing new ductwork. I was so pleased with the work they did and the professionalism of the company that I have had them back to do other jobs, such as wrapping my hot water pipes. I also signed up for them to do the twice-yearly maintenance on the heating and air conditioning units. I have other companies do maintenance checks, including a free one a couple of years ago, and none of them are as thorough as ABC. Their invoice includes all the checks that were done and the readings.

They were just fantastic. Planned and installed a new heat pump system. Unfortunately, the manufacturer sent the wrong model (different by only one letter) and this was not noticed by the initial installation team when they couldnt get it up and running.. Service technician Craig Jensen patiently showed me how to program my smart NEST thermostat. While he was doing the thermostat he noticed how loud the furnace sounded when it came on. Id been told this was normal because the air intake was too narrow. He removed the grill over the intake cleaned it (also cleaned the very dirty inside of the duct), then rotated it so the vent openings were up rather then down. Now the furnace is quiet when it comes on. I cant thank him enough, the noise of the furnace had really dampened my enthusiasm for the new furnace.

Your technician said that I need to check with my HOA and they could get back to us and refill. BEWARE - This may be considered Elder Abuse, I will know more after I consult my attorney. My 77 year old Mother (confined to a wheelchair) was having issues with her AC - nothing major, just running a bit rough. She called ABC and they sent out a technician named Tim Hogue right away. When he arrived, Tim Hogue stated a few things. One, he said it was no longer working at all. Two, he said it was an improper unit that was made for a much smaller house and because of this it was overworked and failed. Three, he said she needed an entire new unit and a bigger one than she had prior. He quoted her $16,000 and told her that was with a $2000 senior discount.Thank goodness my Mother did not fall for this scam and elected to get a second opinion. The new company came out only to find the original unit was working just fine and needed a simple service - all in all a $70 call to fix it. The new company also pointed out that the unit in question had been turned off at the source outside the house prior, my elderly mother in a wheelchair could not / would not have done this. What a coincidence when ABC told her the unit had completely failed. When I googled HVAC Scams I learned that this is one of the most common scams. These people can NOT be trusted and it is clear to me that they tried very hard to take advantage of a poor helpless elderly lady that did not know any better. Shame on them. Tim Hogue AND ABC need to be held accountable for this and I assure you they will be. I urge you to take your business elsewhere!

On top of this, we had them do energy testing to try to qualify for rebates PG&E provides for making your home more energy efficient. In whole, a pretty big and complicated job.
