My wife and I had an overall excellent March 2024 wedding at Cuvier Club and Wedding Bowl. Our beachfront ceremony was unforgettable and breathtaking. Cocktail hour was a delight for all our guests. The Reception inside Cuvier club was some of our guests favorite wedding ever attended. Overall, fantastic preparation and execution by the Wedgewood wedding team, I would repeat this wedding over and over if we could and highly recommend for a once-in-lifetime experience in beautiful La Jolla

We had a fantastic experience working with the Abbey Catering & Event Design for our wedding! Our coordinator, Federico went above and beyond ensuring that our day was perfect! He communicated well and was extremely helpful in the months/weeks leading up to our big day and then made sure that everything went smoothly on the day of! We also worked with Chuck as our dinner captain and he was wonderful, consistently checking in with us and our guests throughout the night to make sure everyone was happy and well fed! We are still getting compliments from our guests about how much fun and perfectly executed our wedding was. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and we were able to be fully present and enjoy our perfect day, knowing that our guests were being taken care of by Federico and Chuck! Thank you to the Abbey Catering, 10/10 would recommend to anyone planning their wedding in the San Diego area!

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by how WONDERFUL The Abbey Catering and Federico and his team were for our wedding day. We are almost 3 months from our wedding and we still have friends and family telling us how amazing the food was! Every single appetizer was delicious, the presentation was perfection and the meal was truly astounding -- no small feat for 140 guests eating at the same time.We cannot wait to use The Abbey Catering for our next event!

Chuck Ferrante and the whole Abbey staff were incredible to work with and gave us a smooth, stress-free wedding. There were so many little details that we never would have thought to coordinate, but Chuck thought of everything. If anything went wrong, I couldnt tell you what it was. The whole event went off without a hitch and our friends and family had and incredible time!Overall, working with the Abbey was absolutely the right call. Having a package of options to choose from was super helpful for us and took a lot of the stress out of wedding planning. The whole team was very professional and well prepared every time we talked.

My wife and I hired the Abbey to provide catering and equipment rentals for our wedding in downtown San Diego and the day could not have turned out better. The food was delicious, the service was professional and classy, and we have been receiving rave reviews from our guests! In particular, our event captain Petr Trebin was fantastic - he is an absolute pro who ensured everything ran smoothly on the day of and took great care of us and our guests. Chuck Ferrante and The Abbey were amazing. Chuck was the constant calm professional coordinator that we needed. He coordinated what turned out to be an absolutely perfect wedding for my wife and I. He helped us develop our vision and then executed it flawlesslessly. The Abbeys all inclusive package was perfect for us. We used it to get our photographer, videographer, florist, hair and makeup, and DJ. Every single person involved was an experienced professional. The Abbey made an incredible meal and had a great bar. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible it was to work with The Abbey and especially with Chuck. Our wedding was perfect and it was because of him.

Will is a dream to communicate with, alwalys friendly and beyond helpful. He was wonderful when we ran into problems with our planned venue and provided guidance. Their service packages are transparently priced and well rounded, you can get everything you may need from them. Only reason we did not end up booking with them is that we had to change venues and found a new place that already included catering etc.

As part of the all-inclusive package with Abbey event design and catering we choose….Our wedding cake turned out a absolutely amazing. Before our big day we did the complimentary sample box tasting which was fun thank you so much Renato and Lauren who was very helpful and amazing to work with.I used Abbey Catering & Event Design for my destination wedding on 03/17/22 that I planned from Florida. 5 stars doesn’t do this venue enough justice. Our destination wedding in La Jolla, CA Turly luxurious and spectacular from start to finish.This venue was everything I could have asked for and more. Our event coordinator Petr was truly a gift sent from above. He made the stress of planning a wedding almost non existent. Everything we asked for, he delivered, walked us through every step of the way and treated us very well!From decor to food and professional service this venue is everything you need to celebrate your special day.Our guest had an AMAZING time and many commented on how much they liked the venue.Also, Chuck thank you for your help I appreciate everything you have done to help us plan our wedding this far. My wife and I worked with the Abbey Catering, specifically Will, Chuck, and Petr. We used the Abbey specifically for catering and everyone was fabulous to work with from beginning to end. We planned our wedding from across the country and the Abbey made the process so smooth. The food was incredibly delicious- somehow it tasted even better on wedding day than we remember from our tasting. The coconut shrimp and bruschetta were our favorite tray passed apps. My wife walked around cocktail hour shoving whole shrimps in her mouth they were sooo good!! We did a seated dinner service with mahi and short rib. Our guests wiped their plates clean! The staff was so attentive and kind. They really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was satisfied. Highly recommend!!

Our venue (the Junipero Serra Museum) provided us with a preferred list of vendors and when we had our first introductory call with the Abbey Catering, we knew they were the one. Robert took the time to chat with us and help us navigate the world of wedding planning in San Diego. Even prior to booking them, he spent time chatting with us and genuinely gave us ideas and support to go on our way with our vendor search and decision making.The Abbey was responsible for the catering and bar service at our event. A few months prior to our event, we were assigned our event captain Petr Trebin! HE IS FABULOUS! We loved his enthusiasm, attention to detail and style and focus on ensuring that everyone was well taken care of!Our event was seamless and everything went incredibly smooth. Upon entering our reception, the Martini Tree brought the wow factor! The hanging drinks caught the eye of our guests and warmly welcomed them into the reception. Many of our guests raved over the food and went out of their way to stress how delicious everything tasted. We chose a handful of delicious tray passed appetizers including the bacon wrapped figs, cream cheese wontons and soyrizo quesadillas and for dinner, chose the Abbey Signature Salad (mixed greens with walnuts) and Dual Entree plate with short rib, panko crusted chicken, truffle mashed potatoes and vegetables.Through out our event, Petr was a ninja- behind the scenes ensuring that everything was going as planned. He worked hand in hand with our coordinator and ensured we were well fed and that we had food readily at our disposal (SO IMPORTANT on your wedding day). He plated us all of our apps in a beautiful display. We actually felt full from how much we ate, which we hear is so rare from couples on their wedding day and were grateful for how attentive Petr was.In addition, our guests shared that the bartenders were rockstars! The drinks were pouring and it made for an epic dance party on the dance floor.The Abbey came highly recommended by our venue coordinator and we understand why. We had a great experience with them and are glad they were a part of our big day!

We were skeptical after reading all the rave reviews for Abbey Catering and Event Design. How can they possibly earn straight 5s, consistently over the years? After hosting a wedding for our daughter, we see that the awards and rave reviews are well deserved. Many of our guests noted that it was the most enjoyable wedding they had ever attended. The professionals and vendors in the All-inclusive Abbey Package care about working together as a team to create an amazing event. Senior consultant Petr Trebin was assigned as our planner and coordinator and he was clearly the star of the Abbey experience. He managed all the moving parts with great skill and calm. He is experienced and knowledgeable. His artistic background helped our daughter choose the final design elements for the event and his management expertise helped with all the details of coordinating with the venue and vendors. He was also available to kindly answer our many questions and concerns in the days leading up to the wedding date. For rehearsal of the ceremony the day before the event, he skillfully and patiently taught our large group of twenty, including children, what to do. During the actual event, he energetically managed everything. His confidence and serene demeanor helped us relax as he handled the many details.The reception food and service were also top-notch. The couple chose several tray-passed hors doeuvres served during the cocktail hour. They were delicious works of art on a plate. The cocktails were also noted as being especially well-crafted and served by skilled and friendly bartenders. The bride and groom even created his and her signature drinks to feature for the guests from the silver bar plan. The salad and duo entrees chosen to be served by the couple for dinner were all impressive. Many guests shared compliments. Wedding food sometimes tends to be dull, being served in a large group, but Abbey is an exception. The Abbey chefs presented creative menus and tasty dishes for all, including our vegan guests and even special meals for the children.We also appreciated that the All-inclusive Abbey Package offered such great value for the price. We were surprised how much we could include in our wedding budget in comparison to the others we researched. Unlike other companies, they do not charge hidden costs that pop up later. The cake cutting, the corkage fees, and coffee service, etc. were all included. We are more than pleased with our choice of Abbey Event Designs and Catering to host our daughters wedding event. Petr was very gracious and made sure we got everything we needed. We had the perfect day thanks to the team at Abbey, there’s not a single thing I would have changed. We did the package and it made planning so much less stressful. Troy was really helpful at the start to answer any questions about the package, and was really transparent about pricing for each of the extra options we might want. The vendors were all very professional, experienced, and had worked with each other before so the day went so smoothly. Petr our coordinator and Sean our catering lead went above and beyond to make the day perfect. I messed up some of the seating chart, no problem they were able to fix it up. Petr from the start was so unbelievably helpful. I remember leaving our first meeting and both of us breathing a sigh of relief and instantly feeling more prepared. At the rehearsal and wedding he was clear with us all what to do and when, had so many good tips, and took a bunch of really fun pictures for us to have the next day. He also did a great job setting up all of our decor and was able to help us re-purpose our ceremony florals to decorate our head and cake tables. I’m sure so many things happened behind the scenes but we had no clue because it was all running perfectly for the guests. I was able to sit back and really enjoy my night without worrying about a thing. We are so happy we went with the Abbey wedding package for our wedding!

We absolutely loved Abbey Catering for our wedding! Their all-inclusive package was great and the preferred vendors all turned out phenomenal (see below for full list) and the food was delicious. Our wedding coordinator Federico was amazing! He was very responsive throughout the whole process and made our wedding day care-free and seamless. He always made sure we were in the right position for every event and that we were on schedule for the night (trust me, it goes by so quickly with all the fun you have).We had to make last minute changes to our outdoor plans due to the forecasted rain and they made those easy for us as well. I highly recommend working with Abbey Catering for your rental and catering needs. Planning a wedding was a lot of work, but Federico and Troy were available to answer questions via email, provide updated quotes, and assist with problem solving for any issues that came up. Federico Tomas was our assigned event manager and he easily worked with myself and my wedding coordinator to plan the best day ever! He was easy to contact and knowledgable in guiding us through different options. I used Abbey Catering & Event Design Co for my wedding on 10/27/19 that I planned from Denver. From start to finish, they were professional, very communicative, and are extremely detail-oriented. Everything was well planned out and they have all of the systems in place to put together a seamless wedding day. Our guests all raved about the food and how it is the best food they have had at a wedding. Our wedding coordinator, Petr, was INCREDIBLE. The Abbey Catering made my wedding absolutely unforgettable. Every single person agreed that it was the best wedding theyve ever been to. We went with an all inclusive package which provided 5 options to be included in our catering price. We chose flowers (Emerald & Ivy), dessert bar (Flour Power), Beverage Tree + Live Harpist for ceremony (each counted as half an option), an espresso bar complete with barista and an ice sculpture. All of these details made the wedding look like it cost twice as much as it actually did. Federico was our coordinator and wedding day super hero. His service was absolutely amazing. Ive never felt so relaxed and taken care of with Feddy in charge of the day. Highly suggest using The Abbey for any special event.

We just had our wedding this past Friday with Abbey Group, led by Federico, and wow! From the minute we first connected with Abbey toward the end of 2020, through the events this past week, we have been thoroughly impressed at how professional, friendly, helpful, and downright amazing everyone weve met as been. The recommended vendors as part of the all inclusive package were great, communication was top-notch on every level, the servers, bar staff, and food were incredible (were still getting compliments three days later - we highly recommend the Coastal Mexican menu!) and then there was Federico, the literal godsend of the wedding. Though we had been communicating with him sporadically via email for months, everything really came together about a month ago when we had our virtual walk-through and final planning call. Planning a wedding from 3000 miles away was not something that I ever expected to be easy, but Federico fully took the reigns and had everything covered before I even thought to ask, including details that I never would have thought of myself. He coordinated with all the included vendors, as well as the few outside vendors that we had hired, to plan a timeline down to the minute for the entire wedding day, and ensured that everyone stuck to that timeline to make everything go smoothly. He managed frustrating family dynamics like a pro, completely transformed our venue, Beach Cliff Villas, into everything we dreamed it would be, and ensured my husband and I were cared for like royalty every minute of the day, from getting us drinks and a few minutes of alone time right after the ceremony, to boxing up desserts and extra meals for us to enjoy the day after, and helping leave the venue as if the wedding had never happened, with the help of the fabulous Abbey clean up crews. It was clear he was well respected by all of the vendors and other Abbey employees as well, as quite a few of them lit up with excitement when we told them Fede was our coordinator. He was always patient, kind, funny, and a true pleasure to work with, and we received quite a bit of praise from friends and family about how smoothly everything went, though the credit fully belongs to Fede. Our only regret is not getting a picture with him, as he really was the reason we had the incredible day we did, and will never forget that! I would highly recommend Abbey Group, and especially Federico, to anyone looking to plan a wedding in the San Diego area!Update: Of course we have a picture with Fede, because he literally thinks of everything!

Absolutely a breathtaking experience! We both feel like weve been on cloud 9 ever since. I seriously dont even know where to even start as everything felt like the most beautiful dream. We are so grateful we booked our package with them and definitely feel that we got such great value for the level of talent they had for our day. From their vendors to their service staff, everything felt like 5-star service and our guests had such a great experience. We did not hear one negative comment but instead how amazing the food tasted, and oh my goodness was there plenty of food! We went with the sit down plated option but it certainly was like a buffet of fancy food. Were from the Midwest but wanted to have a destination wedding in San Diego. We didnt have any specific place in mind so we took a vacation to check out some venues. When we saw the Cuvier Club and the Wedding Bowl in Cuvier Park, it felt absolutely perfect for us and our smaller wedding. The venues were within a couple blocks away from each other and our guests had plenty of parking options around the Club. We really liked the privacy and intimacy of the venue where even the garden patio had tall bushes surrounding it. It was so nice to have confidence that our venue was very unlikely to cancel due to pandemic issues and even helped our guests feel safe knowing that the Club did not have public access. It was also nice having the venue all day to ourselves without worrying about another booking taking our place. There were plenty of restrooms that were nice and clean and even had shower stalls just in case. Never know with them seagulls! But I can say my ceremony in the park on a cliff side with tons of birds flying around went flawlessly with not one of our guests getting pooped on. The Abbey also set up my ceremony and had such beautiful white padded chairs and a stunning four post arch with fabric that was used in the background but did not block the gorgeous ocean view. Cuvier Club also had the prettiest bridal suite with even a mini fridge to store drinks and snacks. It was so nice and convenient to have a venue where we could all get ready and just made the day so stress-free. We first had the honor of working with Megan who we instantly clicked with and felt like she really listened and understood what was important to us for our special day. She would also check in along the way and always offered such awesome support. I thought we were so spoiled with just her service alone. But then we met Chuck, who became our coordinator for our big day, and were absolutely blown away! His great attention to detail and ability to juggle so many moving parts while keeping his cool is phenomenal. His calming voice and demeanor was such a nice energy to have for a wedding coordinator who was also great at directly communicating to make sure everyone was on the same page and that everything stayed on schedule. The fact that our day went so smoothly without feeling one bump just testifies to his level of dedication and love of his work. Im proud to be able to say I wasnt even close to turning into a bridezilla on our big day and it was certainly thanks to Chuck and his crew who made it all magically happen. Literally is what fairytale dream beach weddings are made of and I could not have imagined anything more. We cant thank them enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams with such an All-Star team! In a city packed full of wedding vendors and caterers, I really believe we found the true gems when it comes to talent. We’re still in awe of the amazing skills each vendor provided. Theres a reason why the Abbey is so highly rated!One of the things I love about the Abbey is that they work with certain vendors and you can just pick and choose from their package what you want! It made it really easy and stress free because I didnt have to go searching for vendors.From the very beginning, the Abbey staff have been so gracious in answering all our questions and accommodating to our needs. I booked our wedding venue at Cuvier Club in January of 2020 for April of 2021and BOOM! Covid happened. It was a tough decision but we decided to reschedule at a later date to December 2021. The Abbey made sure to coordinate with all our vendors to inform them of our later date and it was no problem!The food at the Abbey was amazing. For appetizers chose marinated chicken skewers, soyrizo quesadilla, mushroom arancini, and beef wellington bites and for dinner we had pork tenderloin and chicken marsala. All of which were amazing! A lot of my guests said they really enjoyed their food! I also love how the staff made sure to set aside a tray of the appetizers for us to eat because I hear that sometimes the bride and groom dont get to eat at all because its such a busy day!Lastly, I cannot thank our day of coordinator and event captain, Federico enough! He really made the day go seamlessly! He was very professional and attentive to all our needs! He was really easy to communicate with and just made planning everything for our big day a breeze! My husband and I had such a fun and memorable time on our wedding day last 2/11/17. Were totally pleased with all The Abbeys services. We opted for their all inclusive package and it was the best decision weve done. We live out of state and let me tell you that we NEVER felt stressed out with the wedding planning at all. Everyone we dealt with communicated everything very well. Communication is key with wedding planning and everyone from their team were on point.Jack was our main contact, hes simply amazing. Jack was very patient and helpful with all the questions and changes that we had to make. Jack had positive vibes that he carried all throughout the wedding planning process and hes a big reason why we picked The Abbey.Chuck was assigned to be our wedding coordinator (Megan helped out on our vendor meeting, the sweetest person wholl make you feel so excited for your big day) Chuck is very good with what he does. He was always on top of things on our wedding day. Chuck literally took good care of me and my husband from start to finish of our reception. He sent staff to refresh the drinks in our hands every so often, he sat us and have us eat our dinner(most of bride and grooms dont get to do this on their wedding day) and he even packed us 2 dinners that we could enjoy the following day. He took care of so many little details that it really lowered our stress levels and allowed us to enjoy our wedding days in ways we didnt even imagine.Everything about The Abbey is just a pleasant memory! And I think this stems out from how and who is running this company. Zapher, the owner, is one of the most grounded, down to earth person that I ever met. He was VERY helpful and really cares about making other people happy. He surprised us on our wedding day for a photo op in his FERRARI. The Abbey Catering is absolutely the best in the wedding business in San Diego. We had the perfect wedding. Everything on the day of the event went exactly as planned. Better than my expectations, as I expected something wrong to happen. But everything went great! The entire Abbey management and staff are well trained, true professionals, and show that they care about making your wedding day the best it can be. We had to postpone and reschedule a couple times due to the pandemic, but Im glad Federico, Chuck, Leah, Michele were with us the whole way. Special shout out to Federico - our day of coordinator!

The Abbey was amazing from the very beginning. They catered our wedding and helped make it the best day of our lives. The tasting was extremely relaxing and professional and elegant. We were able to pick from a range of different appetizers and they worked with us on every little thing, from linens to china to lighting to timing. Jessica was our event captain and made it to my venue walk-thru and provided so much insight and care. She worked with my wedding coordinator and made everything so easy! On the day of, Jessica made us feel like celebrities and our guests were all raving about the bartending and service and food being phenomenal. Would recommend the Abbey to anyone looking for a wonderful catering company!

The Abbey was our caterer for our wedding at the Martin Johnson house in La Jolla. They also provided the furniture rentals. We were extremely happy with how the food and rental setup turned out, as well as the communication beforehand.Wedding Size/PlanningFor background, we planned our own wedding with a guest count that started at 130 but due to Covid OMICRON came down to about 90. We did not have a coordinator, so we shopped for and communicated with the vendors ourselves. The venue had a short list of approved caterers we had to select from. Abbey was on that list and was one of several we contacted.Rental PricingWe also rented our furniture from Abbey. It was simpler to have the caterer and furniture rentals at one point of contact. But also, the rental prices were very competitive. The tables and chairs were about the same as bright, but then specialty stuff like lighting was much more affordable. Market lights were about $500 cheaper than the quote I got from Bright, and various other savings added up to make Abbeys equipment rental much more affordable. Bright also wanted a longer pickup window to remove the furniture, which would have forced us to end the wedding sooner due to the venues operating hours.Menu SelectionThe menu building process was long based on our initial indecision, but Jack at Abbey was very good at getting feedback from us and giving us options. After a LOT of emails he had a menu we liked at a price we could manage.Food presentationWe initially wanted a buffet for price purposes, but when our guest count came down it was easy to do table service with the same staffing costs. I didnt see this at first, but Abbey (at least for our menu) plates the food where two entrees are connected on one plate by a side. The buffet service already has the food plated - so your guests just walk up and grab a plate. The presentation looks very good and it is a substantial amount of food that looks classy and ours tasted very good. We had entree 1 as chicken piccata and entree 2 as eggplant massouka, with mashed potatoes and vegetables for the sides.Bar costsThe advantage of our venue was we could provide our own alcohol if we hired a licensed bartender. We used Abby for bartenders and just paid for their hourly wage, providing all the alcohol and mixers ourselves because we were trying to save money. Abbey also does full bar service and BYOB Bar service, where you provide the alcohol and they provide the mixer and garnish supplies. The price for BYOB bar was about $10 per person which was about the same as other bar tending companies. It was more convenient to go through Abbey for the bartenders and they did a great job. It also helped to get our event captains insight on planning the bar.Final Prep and CommunicationOnce you select Abbey, they pair you with an event captain to plan the nitty gritty of the event, host your pre-event tasting, etc. Our event captain was Chuck and we were lucky to have him. Hes had many years experience with Abbey and gave us a ton of useful insight and advice. Even though we didnt get the full event planning package, as one of their event planners her walked us through some common issues when we shared our timeline with him. He also was the right balance of caring but practical when giving feedback on things we had not fully planned for. He also gave us some free advice on stocking the bar, and a ton of other small stuff thats important but doesnt immediately come to mind as a novice planner.The day ofThe staff at Abbey were very professional and totally on it the day of the wedding. The bar kept the drinks flowing, the food came out efficiently, and it was beautiful and delicious. Of the caterers I got quotes from, Abbey was on the more affordable end but I cant imagine any other vegetable/chicken combo tasting so good. They even packaged the extra leftover food for us and reheating the froze plates it STILL tastes good. The furniture delivery was also right on time and picked up on time as well.Thank you very much to Jack, Chuck and Abbey,

Extremely satisfied with the value provided by Abbey Catering.Excellent appies, and a great dinner. They went above and beyond what was asked. Many problems were solved all before the big day and they took all the pressure off. Most of the personnel that we met at the Abbey were professional, kind and fun. Megan was great behind the scenes, Chuck was very accommodating and humorous at the tasting, and Matt was awesome the day of our wedding. He and his team really came through!

The Abbey catered our wedding at Building 177 in liberty station. They were very responsive and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Our day of site lead was excellent and made sure everything went smoothly for our large (200 guests) wedding. Everyone raved about the food and the appetizers (Indian fusion flavors). We really enjoyed working with their team.

The abbey just did our wedding on June 4,2022 at scripps seaside forum and everything was absolutely beautiful ! Petr, our coordinator, was AMAZING, he was the glue that held everything together. He made sure all the decorations were executed to absolute perfection, made sure we had nothing to worry about all day long, and also he made sure everything went super smooth. First of all, I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Petr, our month of coordinator, he was everything for us. Always quick to respond, always available to help. On the day of the wedding he made everything happen so smoothly and handled our crazy family like a pro. He was ALWAYS thinking about us and our needs and keeping us on top of everything.Alex, the DJ was awesome, he had an amazing system that helped us have the music we wanted and he just picked up on the vibe of the wedding on the day of. Our dance floor was always packed and it’s because every song and every transition was on point and kept us wanting to dance.For catering, we took the taco buffet and the BYOA(alcohol) package. The food was really tasty (no complaints from anyone) and the drinks were made really well. The lines, despite how much our guests drink, were never too long.For the entire company, the experience that we had was incredible. They were always responsive with every little question we had. They were extremely accommodating even through a pandemic! Every question we asked was answered (usually within hours of emailing) quickly and with detail. We never felt like we were unattended to and the crew made this a wonderful experience.

We had our wedding at the venue they own but I just had to reiterate how delicious the food was! We did the filet mignon and potatoes and stuffed chicken. People were coming up to us telling us how amazing it was! As the bride and groom, you want your guests to enjoy their food. I am so happy with the overall service and would do it all over again.

They did my niece’s wedding and we all thought they were all great, until the end when my sister’s clutch went missing and it was later found with the wallet missing.After continuing to figure things out with people it turns out two of my brother in laws nieces had seen one of the guys that worked with the Abbey caterers who came in with the purse and left in on a table. But of course, it was so convenient that by the time we were aware of this all the workers were gone and they couldn’t be identified by the people who saw them.And now that everyone is all together again we are discovering that half the family has been sick since eating the food from the wedding. If it’s not coming out the top it’s coming out of the bottom.So instead of being able to enjoy a most joyous occasion and sending off the bride and groom, it was ruined by this! I know sometimes it’s hard to do hiring and reading of people, but whoever is doing that for Abbey needs to do a much better job in vetting their employees.

I reached out to Abbey Catering & Event Design 04/2021 for my 10/2021 wedding in San Diego. They were very responsive at first... but once I indicated we changed our minds and would no longer be interested in their all-inclusive package (its just not worth it honestly) but would still like to move forward with the catering and month of coordination Mr. Robert Battoe became completely unavailable. He even stood me up for a phone call we had scheduled. When I reached out to try and reschedule he claimed he woke up feeling sick and didnt go into work... I did think it was odd nobody from the company called/texted/email to inform me our appointment was canceled. Not sure how they handle accounts/referrals but they should look into this.He simply did not call. He then rescheduled and then I again didnt hear from him. See pictures of e-mail correspondence attached.I stopped attempting to work with this business after that. Plenty of other caterers/coordinators in the business. (PROTIP: reach out to Flavor Chef Catering! Delicious/more affordable).

As any bride knows planning a wedding can be both hectic and draining. Unfortunately coordinating with Christian was both. My preferred method of communication is e-mail and Christian called my cell phone several times throughout the day. The nature of my job does not allow me to be on the phone, so this made it increasingly hard to coordinate when instead of answering my e-mails he would call me and leave voicemails.While this is not a deal breaker in itself I found his attitude both nonchalant and offensive. We were going over the specific offerings and he made it a point to tell me that they were not the cheapest caterer in San Diego. We had not even gotten to the specifics of my budget, but it was extremely off putting that he assumed that I was looking for a cheap vendor.Brides save yourself the headache and avoid this company!
