Anabel went above and beyond to help me with my car registrations! The DMVs system for out-of-state registrations was being temperamental for many days, but she called me back in as soon as it came back online and took care of it (even though it was at the very end of her day). She was extremely friendly and helpful through the entire process, as was everyone else I interacted with at this branch. The atmosphere here is much more relaxed and pleasant than the DMV. I will be back!!

I would put 0 stars if I could. Their policy is not in favor of their clients but theirselves. Spent a week working with the wrong representative to only be told I have to continue to wait another week or go through my insurance company when I’m not at fault! I have no side view mirror and my safety is at risk everyday. Ridiculous! Get it together!

The staff overall here are great! This review is pertaining to (1) particular insurance agent, Miguel Montoya. I went in to add my 2020 Chevy Bolt to an existing auto insurance policy. Miguel was assigned to assist me. He asked all of their standard questions and based on the information I provided, I was given a quote I could live with. He then proceeded to ask why my homeowners insurance wasnt with them. I explained that in the past, AAA couldnt beat what Allstate/Pacific Specialty quoted me. He put together a quote that not only was lower, but also lessened my auto quote as well! Perfect right? Not really. He submitted my information to the underwriter and instructed me to hold off on canceling with my current carrier until it was approved. There was a claim that I had made 4 years prior dealing with a neighbor who caused my den to flood but wouldnt pay so I had to claim it on my own insurance policy so he wanted to make sure it wouldnt change my quote. I even gave him the Allstate agents information to corroborate my claim scenario. Two weeks passed and I called and asked a couple of times if that quote was going to stay as is. Miguel stated it would and so I proceeded to sign on with them and cancel my previous carrier. Not more than a few days after, I received a letter from the underwriter stating they were not only raising my premium, but also forcing me to go to a higher coverage amount, thus being higher than my previous carriers rate! My complaint with this agent is that even after I repeatedly asked about the quote he gave me and getting his assurance it would be what he quoted, I feel I got misled into switching my homeowners policy. I asked what could be done and he replied they could cancel it, but Id also lose the bundle rate applied to my auto insurance. Im beyond disappointed and completely feel like he didnt have my best interest. After all, they work on commission and my policies probably made him a decent amount. If you are seeking any insurance from them, ask for another agent and ask questions over and over until youre reassured youre getting what they quote you. I for one, will be requesting I deal with another agent moving forward there.

Josh was the best driving instructor we have experienced for my daughters driving classes. He gives the best attention to detail, while creating a low stress environment. Though AAA needs more instructors overall, Josh is by far the greatest!

This AAA Insurance branch provides outstanding service! Staff at this branch are always super polite, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. Anabel, Mary and others provide super service with DMV needs. The agents at this location are also friendly and helpful. Oscar Rodriguez is an exceptional agent in particular. Positive, helpful, efficient and always looking out for the best possible coverage to meet the needs and budget of his clients. I highly recommend AAA Escondido!

Went in at about 4:20, there was three people before me. About 10 more showed up after I was “checked in” and all got helped before I did. I had to go back up to the front and check in again to get helped. I ended up being at this office till pretty much close time while everyone else got helped.

Love AAA! Staff is always friendly and helpful.Definitely better than going to the DMV.Years ago my husband and I drove cross country and they helped plan our trip with printed directions that they even bounded into books for us. Which was very useful in dead zones when our phones didnt work.

I give this place four stars because it is always busy, I wish they would hire more people. But if you have membership you can do your car registration and other DMV transactions here. The staff is very friendly but I just think theyre a bit understaffed.

I had to come back to AAA with a smog check to complete the registration on a new (used) truck we just purchased. The truck is already registered, payment was already made and now Im waiting, waiting and waiting to simply drop off a copy of the completed smog cert. The employees are nice enough, but the long wait times and lacking sence of urgency reminds me of the DMV / stereotypical complacency / bureaucracy. I hope AAA doesnt continue to resemble more of the attributes and customer service deficiencies of the state DMV.

This lovely instructor Josh Board was extremely helpful when teaching me. He was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile. I would recommend him to any of my friends. He even told my family that if any questions come up to call him and he will help. He made me feel safe on the road, and was very friendly.

Tonight, we had a flat tire. We didn’t feel the need to worry because we had AAA. Boy, were we wrong. Instead of the caring company that people used to rely on for help when they needed it, AAA has become one more predatory organization that takes advantage of its loyal members when they need them most.Our little flat tire problem turned into a much bigger one, thanks to AAA.After ordering a service request through the automated system, we were quoted an hour to get a tow. That didnt happen. We called an hour and a half later. We were told they have one contractor with one driver for all of San Diego. They told us he had finished his last service and was on his way to us. They said he would arrive in 30 minutes. He did not arrive. I called and spoke to Jesenia. Aside from the virtual assistant, we placed the initial request through, she was the most caring. However, she confused us more. She said the driver that was supposedly free and on his way to us, wasn’t. She said he was being held by the CHP. When we told her to cancel the service, she said: “Are you sure you don’t want to wait a few minutes?” When I asked how that could be possible if he was being held by CHP, she had no answer. We canceled. So after waiting over 2 hours for nothing, we got a ride home and had to leave our car in the parking lot overnight. In the morning we will need to drive back to try to fix this issue. If our car is still there.The people that we spoke to showed the worst level of apathy and officiousness that I have ever experienced. Not one note of empathy or understanding. Just matter fact statement of policy. If AAAs goal is to create a membership of disappointed, angry members, they have trained their staff well.

Automobile Club to me is always been five star ever since I was a little kid I remember going there with my father to pick up a map for a trip. Ive used to telling which is amazing Ive used to lock out when Ive locked the keys in the car which is amazing also. However one of the good things being a member of AAA is that instead of having to go to the DMV to register your vehicles AAA you can register your vehicles there it take care of the process for you and its a lot less on the lines. But you have to be a member of AAA in order to have that perch. You also still get maps for your trip and stuff along those lines if your battery ever goes dead in your member of AAA the battery said they have are terrific top-of-the-line batteries Interstate Batteries which lasts and lasts and lasts and theyre relatively inexpensive to AAA all around is the way to go in my books!

I was in and out so quick I was so amazed. I went in without an apointment at around 2 in the afternoon on a Tuesday, to pay for my vehicle registration and get new tags. I did have my registration renewal with me with a check already filled out for my renewal amount. It was Hassel free and recieved new stickers on the spot. They take DMV payments by Cash, Check, and now Visa or Mastercard. They may take other credit cards, but didnt add them in my review since I am not 100% positive. Note: it has to be a credit card and NOT DEBIT. The reason you have to pay with a CC if using a card is because they do charge a little over 2% fee for not paying by cash or check and this fee can not be applied to a debit card.

Totally useless now. We came to notarize a one page standard form. I had it on my phone, but they refused to print it... Tried to renew a passport, but they do not do that anymore either... Full of staff, but no customers, and no desire to work.

I went in to change my membership, as my Dad had passed away. I only had to wait a few minutes for the cashier, and the process was easy. I have gotten maps & travel guides for trips in the past, and they have been very helpful. You can also have auto renewal & other dmv services done here so you dont have to go to the dmv.

Auto Club membership is worth it if only because you can do most DMV transactions here and the longest Ive ever waited was 20 minutes. Not to thrilled with their unholy partnership with Hertz for car rental though. You can easily find better deals for bigger/nicer cars with other agencies. Never used them for travel beyond that, and probably wont.

Fantastic service at a very busy branch! I lost my wallet which was turned in @ AAA Escondido branch. Mary Pearson rang me (meaning shed taken time to research my AAA acct & phone #); left me msg it was in their safe & I picked it that p.m. DMV window AAA employee told me shed written down info of the Good Samaritan whod returned it.I was amazed at the extra customer service! When I arrived--I noticed how busy the branch was. Yet each employee I encountered was friendly, courteous & kind--despite the fact there was a line of customers (4 or 5--which front desk processed quickly) & the entire office was humming with activity. Kudos to AAA Escondido branch!!!

I was at AAA in Escondido today to pay the registration of my car, also I was at AAA in Escondido for the same reason after checking the website to find out it was closed.I have been a member for 43 years for the first time I had to deal with a woman that wasn’t interested on helping she thought she was in a popular contest carrying a conversation with another woman how great they were I ask her why they didn’t change the website to let people know they were closed and she answer me is because we deserve a vacation.I don’t know if I will continue to pay my dues after the bad experience I had today with that woman she kept telling me to move like a menthol retarded just ruin my morning

Completely unresponsive claims reps. Payment for the accident isnt even coming from AAA because the other driver backed into my car and there is a police report supporting that. No call backs from either John or his manager Brad over the course of three weeks. Multiple calls to their location with no one answering. Pressing zero for operator leads to a system problem message. The AAA main office downstairs doesnt know the name of the claims manager who is upstairs. Just disgraceful.My past interactions with the other AAA offices were much superior.

Great place to get travel info ..maps...booklets. My go to place to help make plans... together with the internet. I have really traveled wisely. I dont write to many reviews, like a lot of people, a bad experience might prompt someone to take the time, but Jodi Abal (ck sp) was so over the top helpful, I had to take a minute to pay a compliment. I have been to several AAA offices over the years for many different services, and even had a bad experience once or twice, just never bothered writing a review. I have kept the membership to AAA, because over all I feel it is worth the expense (I am a plus member), but agents like Jodi make it feel like a real value.

Terrible experience at this AAA location. My mother has been a member since 2015 and never had a complaint until we visited this office on Monday August 14th. We went to open a new auto insurance policy and transfer my moms vehicles from the policy she priorly held with her ex husband. The two insurance agents (Alex & Danny) that helped us with the new policy were unable to fulfill our request and answer our questions with honesty. We repetitively asked them how much she owed for her two vehicles on the old policy and that we wished to pay everything at once in order for her ex husband not to be held accountable of paying for her vehicles on his policy. Both agents insisted that nothing was owed on the old policy for her vehicles and that the only amount to be payed would be the new policy fee. Throughout the whole process both agents were rushing and we never got our temporary membership cards. They lacked the capacity to get everything finalized that day and we werent aware of it until Monday August 28th when her ex husband brought to her attention that he was charged for her vehicles when he payed his insurance bill. We went back to the office on Monday August 23rd to speak with the insurance business manager in search for a resolution to the confusion his agents caused throughout their dishonesty and incapability to do their jobs adequately. Unfortunately we once again wasted our time here, as the man named Brian insisted that his agents had nothing to do with the misinterpretation as he gradually raised his voice without listening to our side of the story. He demonstrated a very arrogant manner and never greeted us from the start. Additionally he insisted for my mom to sign a document his agent lacked to get a signature for during the opening of our new policy. We then opted to go to a different office as he verbally threaten to cancel the policy we had paid for if he didnt get a signature right away, my mom kindly refused since we were both being intimidated and mistreated by the insurance business manager. We then afterwards were able to get the help we needed and complete everything at the AAA office in Poway were weve always gone to without an inconvenience. I am deeply disappointed in the unprofessionalism of both agents and Insurance business manager at this location and we will NEVER be coming back.

If going for DMV license plate renewal, you must pay with cash or check (no credit or debit card). Saturday a line forms before opening, so getting there an hour after opening usually means less wait time. Your renewal can not be past due.

Absolutely love AAA skip the lines on your registration there Towings great have my automobile insurance through there they also do the California low cost auto insurance program which is very helpful if you need it you can also upgrade from the regular towing package to be able to tow trailers or RVs which is very awesome too

What can I say about AAA AAA is a blessing especially when it comes down to renew your tags and to register and to do anything else that has to do with the DMV everybody knows that we hate to go to DMV and guess what every since I go to AAA and I dont stress it takes me longer to drive there then to get my tags and do what I have to that doesnt happen at DMV theres lines there youre sitting down there and its all hot and muggy and sometimes you have to wait for so long so many people you know how you get in a bad mood and you know its one of the places that thank God you only go once a year but hey AAA is the way to go great service when your keys are locked up when you need to pull a car that has broken down on you which is happened many times to us and friend of mines and they come right away best place there is if you own a car

Afshin Dadforouz and Shane Ruiz never call me back. I have sent countless emails and left a number of voicemails. After Afshin and I spoke on Friday he promised to look more into my claim and to call my boyfriend back by the end of the day. He did not, of course. The accident my boyfriend was in could have been so much worse and they’re treating it like nothing even happened. They refuse to do a thorough investigation and only agree to fix most of the damages their client had made.
