AMAZING WORK! The A2Z Remodeling team did an amazing job with our 1926 home. We had work done on a bedroom and a bathroom. Both rooms were taken down to the studs, the electrical updated, etc. In the bedroom its great now to have plenty of light and outlets! The bathroom though is Wow! We kept the cast iron tub, moved the window, updated all the tile, added lots of lighting and more. Dror was the project manager and very engaged. Eddie was on-site most days. Both paid great attention to detail and wanted to make sure we were happy. They asked lots of questions, gave advice, and worked with us to create a customized and beautiful bathroom. Thank you!

A2Z Remodeling did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel. We interviewed many potential contractors, and Dror was by far the best project manager at listening to our ideas, answering our questions, and presenting a clear and thorough bid.We replaced all appliances, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures; and we upgraded our electrical sub-panel. Dror estimated a 6-7 week project, and that is exactly how long it took. Our project team was led by Eduardo, and they were a pleasure to have in our home, 6 days a week, 8-9 hours a day. They never missed a work day, they kept the work area very clean, and they consulted us on every detail.We are sticklers for the details, and the workmanship is perfect. Every cabinet is level, every door is aligned, every tile and grout line is even. Our kitchen is not expansive in size, and Dror ensured that our cabinet choices maximized every centimeter of storage space.We will definitely work with A2Z again, and we are already dreaming about how we could renovate a bathroom or two.

We worked with A2Z Remodeling (Dror, Eduardo, and crew) on a kitchen remodel and couldnt be happier with the results. We used to have a small, dark, closed off kitchen. The team removed two load bearing walls, added beams, repaired walls, painted the walls with lime wash paint, moved a laundry room, installed new cabinetry and countertops, and refinished the floors. Eduardo was the day-to-day lead of the crew, and he was super detail oriented (and extremely enjoyable to work with). We didnt have any unexpected change orders and the project was more or less on time. Were extremely happy with the finished project and would highly recommend A2Z to friends and family in the future!

We just finished a kitchen project with A2Z Remodeling recently. Overall the experience was great and the new kitchen looks amazing.We had an old kitchen from the 90s with a couple of leaks that caused us headaches big time and we finally decided to remodel and take care of all the problems once and for all. We interviewed a few remodeling companies and A2Z stood out. Dror Postiner was the one talking to us. He was honest, respectful and cared about details. They were not the lowest in quoted estimates but they seemed to know what they’re doing really well, especially when compared to sales pitches we got from all the other vendors.Dror was also our project manager through the remodeling and I have to say that the communication was excellent. Dror was timely communicating and responding to questions through emails and texts. They were transparent about their work schedule and project plans and they kept their words. The entire project was well planned and executed, no surprising changes of orders or changes of timelines. Their crews were respectful, hard working and got things done. There were many moving pieces but Dror was always on top of things, any concerns we raised about details Dror spent time to understand and made sure they were addressed to our satisfaction.Overall it was a great experience working with A2Z and I’m glad that all my kitchen problems are now gone and we have a shiny new kitchen.

Dror and his crew from A2Z made my home dreams come true! We had a pretty big project renovating both bathrooms, kitchen, all new flooring, adding a bedroom, and demoing a fireplace. We are first time owners and this was our first remodel. Dror was really knowledgeable about all the codes, timelines, what needs to be done, and so much more, which made us way less nervous about the remodel. Him and his crew were very professional, communicative, and worked really hard to get everything done on time and within our budget. I’m recommending A2Z to anyone I know that’s thinking about renovations!

My husband and I have been involved in several construction projects, both commercial and residential. Our experience with A to Z has exceeded every expectation. Our project manager, Meir Barr, was super responsive, friendly, professional, and has a deep well of expertise. He even ran interference with our HOA and neighbors, which was above and beyond. We did a substantial remodel of our condo. It was done quickly, professionally, and to the highest standards. They worked within our budget and made excellent suggestions to reach our design and functionality requests. They eliminated every frustration with how the condo worked and went consistently over and above. I strongly recommend using them.

What an incredible positive experience we have had with A2Z. My wife and I have done several major renovations over the last 20 years with some very good contractors, but none have come close the level of performance we had with A2Z. Our project was major and consisted of a complete renovation and extension of our home leaving no space or mechanical system untouched. A2Z were incredibly attentive and patient through the planning phase as we locked down our project scope and cost. Once the project began the work progressed exactly as planned for both cost and schedule; their ability to stay within our cost and maintain the highest quality workmanship was very impressive. Our project Manager Meir was always attentive to our needs, was an excellent communicator, fun to work with and ensured the project ran efficiently. Working with Meir was by far the best GC experience we have had and the staff at A2Z are an absolute pleasure. Our five-star rating is as good as we can give but for us still does not reflect how amazed and happy we are with the results for our project. We absolutely recommend this company for any remodel, renovation or major project.

A2Z did an incredible job helping with our kitchen remodel and Im already looking forward to working with them again in the future. Dror was incredibly responsive every time we had a question, all the way from the early stages of us buying materials to the end of the project. Along with Dror, his crew was incredibly thorough, kind, and FAST. We couldnt believe how quickly this project got done. In addition to quick and high-quality work, we found A2Z to be affordable and significantly less that other quotes we received. At first, that worried me, thinking that maybe they were too good to be true but Dror is just a good-hearted person with hard-working employees and a high bar for quality work. We chose A2Z to remodel our laundry room, bathroom, kitchen, as well as replace old galvanized water pipes, upgrade electrical, and a few other minor improvements to our house starting in March 2022. The entire team was great to work with, same crew every day, always professional and pleasant to talk with. Amazingly, the project was completed on time, and the only change orders for the budget were the result of requests by my wife and I. Had a couple common quibbles, i.e., there were some nails around perimeter of house, pocket door was a little askew, but Dor and his team promptly addressed everything and made certain that my wife and I were happy and fully satisfied with all aspects of the project. Definitely recommend these guys for any work you may have on your house.

We were considering shrinking our bathroom to create an office nook, and A2Z gave us a free consultation. They gave excellent design advice about putting the office in our walk in closet instead of the bathroom which would help the house retain more value and be less expensive overall. They gave this advice against their own financial interests which I really respect and appreciate from a business.

We worked with the A2Z team on a renovation of our downstairs to convert a den space into a new bedroom/office with a full bathroom, our living room to make it a more open floor plan, and updated the electrical in the whole house. We began the project in January of this year and were able to move back in June with the project fully completed in July.The project manager we worked with was Meir and we would plan to meet weekly to review and discuss the progress of the project. The project did complete a little later than expected as there were a few setbacks and challenges that came up but Meir was always there to work with us to make sure we were happy with the work/solution for these setbacks and challenges. Meir always made himself available for a chat either by text, phone, or email. If there was something that needed my attention or an update following an inspection, Meir would notify me right away so I was kept informed of everything.After everything was completed, my wife and I were happy with the work at our home. When I am walking around my home, it feels like a brand new home and I forgot how it used to look. There were some bumps in the road during this project but now we enjoy being back in our home and had a super positive experience with Meir and A2Z. If you are looking to renovate/remodel your home/property, I would recommend reaching out to A2Z.

T is not often that I take the time to write reviews but with our outstanding experience with our recent project with A2Z Remodeling, it was called for. Dror Postiner, our project manager, was extremely attentive to any questions or concerns we had throughout the entire project. We stayed connected through text, phone and in person communication. It was reassuring that we could get a hold of him and he would respond without delay.He was able to transfer our “concept” for an update to our family room into exactly what we had in mind. This included removing the existing fireplace façade, wood burning stove and worn floor and replacing with a gas fireplace insert, modern fireplace surround and new flooring. in addition, we had our outdated kitchen countertop and backsplash replaced making a transformational difference in the appearance of the room. Dror personally guided us through the process of selecting porcelain slabs for the countertop and fireplace surround as well as tile for the backsplash. We obtained high quality material within our budget.The team professionally and efficiently completed the project without creating undue disruptions that allowed us to stay in our home while the work was underway. The job site was kept clean and made safe at the end of everyday which was very important to us as we have an 18-month grandson that likes to explore! The crew let us know when they would be coming and the days they would not be. They took great care to not damage our kitchen cabinets, appliances and floor that would not be replaced. It was like they treated our home as if it was theirs.The job was completed in less that 4 weeks (about 17 days on site) which was within the estimate that Dror provided. He provided a detailed scope of work describing what A2Z was responsible for and what we needed to account for, e.g., hard surfaces, finish paint, family room flooring, kitchen sink and faucet. The agreement included the overall cost broken down by progress payments. There were no hidden cost surprises with the original scope of work.Overall, we highly recommend A2Z Remodeling. From planning to implementation and completion we are extremely satisfied with the quality of work, cost and most importantly the finished product. It has increased the appearance and functionality of the interior design enormously.

A2Z was spectacular for our kitchen remodel. Project Manager Dror Postiner was accessible, responsive, and courteous at all times. For example, we had a small electrical problem in the evening and he sent someone out right away. (The problem turned out to be our fault, not A2Zs.) The crew, led by foreman Eduardo, was courteous and highly skilled. Dror is careful about selecting excellent subcontractors. The flooring, electrical, and countertop teams were terrific also. Everyone worked with great efficiency, and the kitchen was finished on time, despite a few change orders that added elements we had not planned on originally. We would recommend A2Z without reservation.

We hired A2Z to remodel two bathrooms and replace all of our interior doors (including closet doors) this past summer. This was our third remodel project and A2Z far surpassed our previous experiences. Dor and his team were professional, clean, and communicative while completing the project in a timely manner. Dor was accessible and responsive and proactively communicated with us from start to finish. Dor was available to help us purchase the materials while also providing flexibility and autonomy in choosing our own merchant. I just completed a major condo renovation with A2Z Remodeling Inc. Project manager Meir Bar was a delight to work with and expertly guided the process from initial contact to final sign-off. Meir handled it all, from securing city permits to guiding design choices to running interference with suppliers, workmen and condo management. Meirs team of craftsmen were equally respectful and diligent. Meir always returns calls promptly and offers straightforward solutions to the inevitable challenges that arise. We had the best experience working with A2Z Remodeling when updating our 1950s kitchen at our home in El Cerrito (February - March 2022). They worked tirelessly round the clock to complete the kitchen remodeling project much earlier than the proposed timeline. They said originally that it should take 5-6 weeks but they got it done in 4 weeks, which is unheard of! The project managers Dor and Dror, and their team members (Estuardo, Jesus, Julio and others) were very polite, reliable and professional. Their workers worked tirelessly, even on Saturdays and Sundays to achieve this super-fast timeline. And the remodeled kitchen looked spectacular - even better than the design pictures they had drawn up for me initially!One thing that stood out to me was their strong attention towards client satisfaction. After the work was complete, Dror remained responsive to take care of every little minor touchup issue that I brought to their attention. He sent over his crew immediately to address any followup concerns, including kickstarting our water heater that had stopped working when they had turned off the gas during remodel. And lastly, I was very happy when Dror offered to provide me an extra cleaning service to address my concern of getting every piece of construction dust removed from my home.I had heard nightmarish stories of contractors never finishing up on time and coming up with higher bids midway during the job. A2Z not only finished earlier, but they completed the job within the bid they had promised. I highly recommend them for their excellent workmanship, responsiveness and timeliness!

My wife and I found A2Z Remodeling via Angi’s list and studying their web site along with other contractors we were considering. After contacting them, we met with the co-owner, Dror Postiner, who reviewed our list of tasks and wrote up a bid and payment schedule during and after our walk-through and discussion. One thing we appreciated was A2Z being large enough that they could handle multiple jobs at a time and so they were able to begin work 10-12 days after we agreed to the contract.There were two main phases to the work. The first phase was inside and focused on out master bathroom and our laundry area, which were completely redone. In addition, we had smaller issues dealt with in two other bathrooms, our front room, mother-in-law apartment and garage. The second phase was outside and involved building a deck and installing a gazebo.We enjoyed working with the A2Z group. The work was done well and in a timely manner. They handled minor issues that arose professionally and politely. A characteristic that is distinctive in A2Z’s approach is that once they have done work for you, you are now “family” and they will respond to anything that arises during or after the work. This was demonstrated in a number of ways. For example, near the end of the work, my wife suffered an injured hip on our stairs and spent a few days in hospital. Dror sent a card, flowers and candy to my wife at the hospital, which we thought was a remarkable gesture. They were very helpful in folding in some additional work (e.g., a second hand rail on our stairs) after the main work was completed to increase the safety in our house. Lastly, A2Z hired a professional maid to give our house a thorough cleaning after everything was completed.We were very happy with our interaction with A2Z and recommend them to anyone planning a home improvement project.Hoyt and Sue Walker

Ad a designer, I cannot recommend Dor and his company enough. Dror and A2Z just completed a kitchen remodel for us, and we cannot express enough how happy we are with the results. Dror, who is one of the owners of the company, is the best project manager you could hope for. He is very knowledgeable, super responsive, and really takes pride in the work that his company puts out. From obtaining permits to helping with the purchase of materials to completing the final inspection, he and his team made the process as smooth and seamless for us as possible. And no matter what issues arose or requests we made, he never backed away but rather just worked with his team to figure out solutions to make our vision for our dream kitchen a reality. We worked with the A2Z team on two projects after moving into our new home in May 2022: 1) a renovation of our downstairs family room to remove some old style cabinets and 2) a remodeling of our guest bathroom. Dor led the team and did an excellent job. The team was able to get both jobs done on time, within budget, and everything looks fantastic. Of course, no project goes perfectly, but anytime an issue came up, Dor was easy to reach and took care of it. Weve since reached out to him for some small jobs (after we had a ceiling leak and to repair some of the wood floor that got damaged) and he was there for us.

We hired A2Z Remodeling after a large fire at our home (over $150k in damages). Dor was quick to respond to my message and was out for an estimate asap. We chose A2Z remodeling because of their stellar reviews and how responsive Dor was. The price of the scope of work was fixed and A2Z Remodeling was able to stay at the price.All the work was completed on time and as promised. It was great to be able to be hands off during the restoration process and trust that Dor and team would make the right decisions for the home. They provided updates on their progress and also asked for my input for important items. The end product looks fantastic and you can tell a great deal of effort was put into the work.Dor was very helpful when it came to dealing with my insurance. Insurance companies are not the most responsive companies, but he was able to work with them and also give us options when the insurance payment was taking longer than normal.

We signed up with A2Z Remodeling for a major renovation which includes 2 bathrooms, kitchen with removal of load bearing wall, flooring, interior paint and a new construction fireplace (which A2Z recommended to work with Nova and we were very happy with Erik customer service).Id say that Dror, the owner and later the Project Manager, quickly talked me into hiring his company for the project despite the rather pricey quote.He impressed me with his knowledge and promised a work with no charge time and/or change orders (unless something he can’t see after demolition as he mentioned he is not a magician) and assured me that the team is dedicated and that they have very high standards and provide high quality of workmanship.He seemed to quickly understand what I’m looking for and was able to provide a detailed estimate at my house (very surprising while It took other companies about a week and they weren’t half as detailed as Dror) and even gave me a 3% discount because we reached an agreement on the first appointment.We had initial problems with starting the project because of plan checker review (because we did structural work and removed a load bearing wall), which was not the companys fault at all.We waited patiently for the permit to arrives and as Dror promised once it’s arrived they started the job right away (we got the permit on Tuesday and the crew started next Monday morning).Although we did most of the shopping on our own (my wife have strong opinion on the design she wanted) he guided us with what materials to look that will comply with CA regulations and provided us with accurate measurements and quantities.Dror referred us to show rooms he work with that we could get discounts (he offered to come but there was no reason for that) and even opened an about in a specialty store that he didn’t had an account with in order to save us an additional 15% on a really nice and expensive mosaic backsplash my wife wanted for the kitchen.I highly recommend Dror and his company as they are very efficient and organized.He was always on time and showed up whenever he says he would, he constantly kept us updated with whatever is going on and gave us an update every few days.We really enjoyed working with Oscar the foreman and the crew (especially Pedro).The results are excellent and the professionalism throughout was top notch. The guys were always clean, polite, friendly and very hardworking.Sergio the tile guy is very talented as well and the tile work looks remarkable, thank you Sergio!I trust their professionalism, integrity, and quality of work.Their were a couple of small bumps here and there (which I expected with an approximately time of 3 month renovation) but Dror was on top of everything and made sure to take care of them right away and to our satisfaction.I feel very comfortable posting that review and will recommend to friends and family, thank you A2Z for making our dream come true!

Project Manager Eran Zitron and crew were very professional, efficient and responsive. They were always reliable, polite and respectful to our needs and concerns. There were some supply chain issues that caused some delay but if all components were available, they would have been done in very little time, certainly on-schedule. I did have to resend invoices to Eran due to component delivery delays but this was a minor issue. Overall quality was excellent and we are thrilled with the results.

My husband and I did a major kitchen, bathroom, entryway remodel to our 1973 Oakland hills home. The dining room / kitchen were opened up, an island created, deck door repositioned, a powder room and pantry created from a larger bathroom. Dror, the owner and project manager was available. The team arrived promptly; there were no unexpected delays. Appropriate change orders were managed. Project was completed on time, on budget, and we managed to remain in the home. We chose A2Z Remodeling over 4 other contractors we interviewed with to remodel our 2 bathrooms and we couldnt be happier.After meeting with Meir Bar and Dror Postiner himself we discussed a reasonable cost estimate for the work (they were not the cheapest but they showed a lot of knowledge and pointed things that no one else has mentioned) that needed to be done. Meir took us out shopping in a tile and plumbing fixture store while Dror worked on pulling our permit with his permit expediter.Throughout the entire process the staff from their front office to their onsite foreman Jose were always very responsive and helpful. This our second remodel (first one was a kitchen remodel in previous condo we used to live in) and we were very impressed with the level of communication, organisation, laborers were very knowledgeable about creating the bathroom we wanted to achieve while keeping up to date with building codes and city permits. We had several meetings with Meir throughout the project confirming location of plumbing, layout of tile etc.The guys gave us suggestions when we were clueless, and always advised us properly when choosing fixtures and other materials for the build.The crew, was clean, kept Covid protection and it was nice to see the same faces over and over again since the moment that we started until the end.Dror promised to be on time and budget and they were (it was helpful since once we set up a budget we wanted to make sure there are no surprises).We love the results and our bathrooms even nicer than we imagined!Thanks again A2Z Remodeling, we will for sure use you again for future projects to come!

Thank you so much for my beautiful bathroom. Dor made the project so easy for me, I had someone coming here with his portable showroom, once we chose everything, I didn’t even notice the remodel, we were using the other bathroom. Every day I came back home to a clean house, recommended!

Dor, Josh and their whole team were really great to work with. Responsive when I had questions and the crew was very professional. I really appreciated when I had gotten mismatched materials (the supplier gave me the wrong countertops and transition strips) and A2Z worked with me to correct the issue, even though it added two weeks to complete the job. If not for that error, we would have been done exactly in the estimated time. Made the remodeling experience easy for a first-time homeowner!

I looked for a remodeling company that would help me with my kitchen remodeling and refinishing the flooring in my house in San Jose. I called A2Z; Dror & Dor came fairly quickly to give me an estimate. They were very knowledgeable and had a lot of great design ideas which I hadn’t received from other contractors. They took their time with me and explained the different codes and regulations that the city requires and told me that they are a no change order and no change time company, which was very important for me. Their prices were fair, not the least and not the most expensive. After interviewing 4 companies, I chose A2Z. I am super happy with my decision. The end result is amazing. Dror was assigned to be my dedicated project manager, and I received a dedicated crew as Dror promised. Communication throughout the entire process was better than I could ever have expected. Jose the Forman and the crew were very respectful and clean.When any small issue came up, Dror immediately took care of it and had great solutions, sharing with me his ideas of how they would take care of them, which I appreciated very much.Overall my new kitchen and floor look amazing. The team made the process very easy. I will definitely recommend them and will use them for my next project!

I was in immediate need of help because of a serious water leak from my dishwasher, new kitchen cabinets, and new baseboards and flooring. A2Z came with great design ideas and eventually I re-did the entire kitchen. They did a great job from start-to-finish. Their bid was very competitive and they helped me to get the money from the insurance company. They didnt try to give me change orders for some issues that happened because of my house’s condition. Dor and his guys were efficient and finished the job quicker than other contractors had estimated.Overall, I wasnt planning on getting this work done, but I am very pleased with the results and would gladly use this great company again.

We worked with A2Z Remodeling for our kitchen remodel, which included moving the kitchen to a different location in the house, transforming the existing kitchen into a dining room and closets, Remodeling an existing bathroom with removing a non-load-bearing wall between the vanity to the shower area and relocating our laundry. From our first meeting, we immediately were impressed with Dror, he came on time (which was important for us since the other 2 appointments didn’t…) and listened to our needs and what we were thinking, he showed he cared about what we wanted and only then made suggestions which made us feel comfortable.He then explained the process and what we could and couldnt do (he mentioned that everything is durable but some of the things we wanted could really break the bank so we were happy with his honesty).What I liked is that he explained things according to the cost, which was very important to us. Dror provided us a quote with a detailed scope of work and stayed within that price and timeline promised for the entire job (there were some change orders but that is due to things we asked to add so we were totally fine with it of course), which we really appreciate.Estuardo (foreman) and the crew assigned to our remodel were dedicated as promised.They were clean and efficient which was really appreciated since we were living in the house while the remodeling happened.Dror was very responsive and made sure things are going well and to our satisfaction throughout the entire project.This was our first big renovation and to be honest, we didn’t know what to expect, doing just a big renovation with 2 kids is not easy but A2Z was very patient, our experience with them was great and we would definitely recommend it to friends and family.Thank you, Dror, Estuardo, and the crew!

We wanted to give our kitchen and laundry area a bit of a facelift…replace counter tops, flooring, some cabinets and paint the rooms. We also wanted to change a few things in the bathroom. We didn’t want to try to find contractors to complete the different phases of the project so A2Z Remodeling was exactly the type of company we were looking for.Dor Ashkar, one of the owners, came to give us an estimate. We explained what we needed and he offered a really nice design idea for our small narrow laundry area. After choosing A2Z all we had to do was select the replacement products and they did the rest.Dor as our project manager responded quickly to all of our questions and always kept us informed about the progress of the project. We found him to be sincere and trustworthy and he genuinely wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with the results.We could not have asked for a better on-site team, especially Alex and Rene. They were diligent, professional, and always willing to answer our questions and give helpful suggestions. The floor crew did an amazing job installing the sheet flooring.Although this was not a major remodeling job, we are very pleased with the new look. The project was completed on schedule and at the same price quoted in the estimate. We would definitely recommend A2Z in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a quality company to handle their remodeling project.

Dor (the project manager) from A2Z was friendly and great at answering all our questions. They priced out the bathroom remodel project upfront and there was a clear timeline for payments. Everything was very transparent. He gave great suggestions towards the design on what would be successful. His crew were professional and took great care to keep the rest of our home protected from debris and damage. They worked diligently to finish the project within the proposed timeframe. We would definitely hire them again and highly recommend their services.

We just finished our kitchen remodel with A2Z Remodeling, Dror Postiner and Or Hameiri were our project managers and I was very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and work ethic. The crew was dedicated as promised and worked ver hard throughout the process.Or was very responsive and was very impressed with how quick he responded to any questions and concerns I had through the project (Project ran extremely smooth).We also upgraded the main panel and apparently there are specific codes when it come to kitchen remodel. Dror offered to add a sub panel in the garage but since I would like to have a Tesla car charger in the future he told me I should already upgrade the main and and then wont need to do the extra sub panel.I highly recommend A2Z remodeling. They are one stop as their name and you wont regret it!I know I will use them for the future projects and will recommend to friends and family.

Just moved into our new home. We were looking for a house for a few months, all the nice houses we saw were completely out of our budget. At some point we started to look at a few fixers. Our house required a lot of work, literally everything. Kitchen, flooring, insulation, rewire, and more. Dor from A2Z was very efficient, detail oriented, and most important for us he know how to move everything very quickly which allowed us to move in in a reasonable time. Dor and his team Got the permits very quickly, they helped us to get all the materials as cabinets, tiles, and plumbing fixtures. Once the construction started the process was pretty smooth, we met them on site every week or a week and a half, they were dealing with most of the work and they made sure to ask us for our opinion for every design dilemma. Completed a bathroom remodel in 2 mo beginning Jan21. Project included converting a closet to toilet space, installing toilet w/ bidet, tub, tile, custom double vanity & proper venting / additional electric outlets.Initial rating was 4 stars - but recently we experienced a leak in plumbing installed. Dror immediately responded & Byron came same day to fix it months after the remodel was complete. We really appreciated the customer service & guarantee of work, so am rating it 5 stars now.What was great: Work was started & completed quickly. Quality of construction appears to be great. SF permitting process was fast. A2Z quickly facilitated an extra structural check before cutting through a ceiling joist for the toilet move. 3 of 4 the vendors A2Z recommended for us were respectful of COVID protocols; only the counter installation vendor did not show up when expected & didnt wear masks. They wore masks on return visits after talking to Dror. Custom cabinet guy Dror referred us to, Israel, was fantastic to work with. The stores they recommended (Bullnose Tile, Rubenstein Supply) were also great.Areas of improvement: I expected more expertise in pre-planning, and better organization of the project. Ex: The list of materials to purchase was sent to us via text message, quickly buried in subsequent conversation. I created my own spreadsheet tracking all materials needed, expected delivery dates, etc. Certain issues were not proactively planned around, but were reactively solved for, that could have had a big impact on the outcome. Ex: no one raised the potentially problematic issue of cutting the ceiling joist to move the toilet until construction began, and stated we should probably get another inspector to approve the initial plan. If the city did NOT approve our plan, we could have been left in a very tough situation. They missed moving a heating vent and tried to circumvent moving it after the fact, but accommodated the change once they realized it was included in the initial contract, and it was their original oversight. Minor things like this were stressful in the moment, and could have been avoided with more thorough planning, but ultimately were fixed.I would work with A2Z remodeling again for the quality of their construction work & service, but would recognize the heavy lifting needed to be done on my end to double check all details and ask A LOT of questions to confirm things before purchasing.

Were so glad we found Dor! We consulted several contractors, but Dor was the one that we felt like we could trust to be the most reliable and hardworking. He helped my parents with their big home remodeling project as they were preparing to put their home on the market. Their home was on a fantastic lot with a view but it hadnt been updated in decades, so they wanted to renovate it to be the best looking home in the neighborhood. Dor was able to advise them on how to design their home with style and class to appeal to the most buyers. He and his team were very knowledgeable about building codes and permits and saved us a lot of headaches! He was very easy to work with, and most importantly, so kind and patient through all the questions and back and forth. My parents and I are grateful for his skills and expertise!

I had great experience with A2Z Remodeling building an ADUIt took me a long time to get all the approvals needed and plans for this ADU. I met with several contractors but Dor & Dror were kind and communicated, they were very thoughtful for my needs and desires.They weren’t the cheapest but I had a bad previous experience in home renovation and a lot of change orders, with them there was no need for any additional charges because the price they gave was the exact amount needed to build this ADU.They showed me 100% professionalism.It was a Pleasure working with them and their team.I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family they are the best.

We called A2Z to get a quote for converting our garage into an office space. Dor came out within a few days to check out the space and provide a quote. I had a budget in mind for the project and I was delighted that it was in line with their quote. I was even more delighted when he said they could start 2 weeks later! Not only did they start on time, but they also finished on time. I couldnt believe how fast it all happened from start to finish. Throughout the whole thing, Dor was very communicative. After the work was completed, I asked them to come back for a few touch ups and they came back the next day to take care of it at no extra charge. I really appreciate the professionalism, work quality, and communication. I would definitely recommend them for your project.

We just finished the process of building a rental unit in our back yard. A2Z did a great job, after we confirmed all the plans that they suggested we pretty much let them deal with the city, the different stores, and the workers.The process was pretty smooth, the price stayed the same as we initially agreed. They finished on time and the inconvenience was minimal. The workers respected our property, and because we are cautious about Covid we really appreciated that.Dror, the owner of the company was attentive to our needs, and very responsive. We were very satisfied from his service.The thing we liked the most about him is that we felt that he is transparent about the scope and the price, we didn’t get this feeling from the other contractors we met, A lot of other people didn’t check our electrical system, and some more construction stuff.We really felt that he’s looking to do the best job possible, and that’s what he really did.Highly recommend this guys, great job, Pricing was fair.

I never did any remodeling work, I was nervous from it, but it was about time to do the kitchen.Dror, the owner came to give me a free estimate, he had so many cool ideas, I couldn’t believe I didn’t think about it after cooking in this kitchen all these years. They were professional, after finishing the kitchen design and choosing all the materials my part was pretty much done. Even though Dror is the owner he gave me the feeling that I am his top priority. A dry rot issue was discovered in my subfloor after the floor demolition, gladly, there were no change orders. As promised, the price was fixed even with thar. It turned out as the 3D showed.

I had hired a different GC who abandoned me for a bigger job. We were living in a construction area for 3 months with no major progress since he got a bigger job. We fired them. Dror wanted 20% more than the first guy, but it was worth every penny. Don’t hire cheap contractors! He took over the project’s leadership, it was smooth sailing from there!

There were some issues, but they handled all, finished even before the planned date and the outcome was fantastic. I moved into my house six years ago, I was thinking about remodeling the kitchen ever since I moved in. When shelter in place started I finally had the time to start planning. I got three estimates And I had the feeling that A2Z Remodeling will do a good job and give me the best value for my money.
