Super cute coffee and breakfast place! When we got there the staff was very friendly and helpful with picking your order. You do pick what you want at the counter and pay for it before you go sit down. We had the ham and cheese omelet and the crepes - super delicious! It was our first time in Lake Tahoe and our waitress gave us great recommendations of where to go and eat dinner. Can’t wait to come back again!

I have a veggie wrap (it wasnt on their menu) pancakes looked delicious. I had a Chai Latte, that was tasty! Hard working staff both front and back house. The place is small though and the average party seemed to be 2-4 people. Not very Fancy, they used disposable utensils. Green sauce is delicious (spicy). Order at the counter and then wait for a table to be free- this was not my favorite aspect but its a cute place and the food was cool.

Must visit for coffee, at least!We were here on a heavy snow day. They have parking space. Only indoor seating, the seating is limited. Good service, the manager makes sure that he gives you good recommendations according to your likes and dislikes.I got salted caramel latte with an extra espresso shot - i enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. The mocha was like any other mocha but the coffee in itself was very good. They have a lot of food options too with some interesting finds. A lot of fusion food to order from. I tried their Kimchi hoagie - it comes with egg, potatoes and kimchi - loved the combination and the bread was really good. The panini was decent, try it with their in-house green sauce, that makes it tastier. Overall, it is a little expensive but totally worth visiting.

Love this place for breakfast. Menu looks really great. Its all fancy pancake and coffee and other drinks included mimosa. Foods are really good too. Would really recommend this place for breakfast and brunch than any another place in Heavenly. They don’t have a lot of staff but they all are great and friendly.

Went here while exploring the South Lake Tahoe area. We read about this place in a magazine and figured we should check it out. The food and service was great. The staff was really friendly and the food was quick. The butterfinger latte was delicious and you cant go wrong with their omelettes or burritos! I am giving this a 4/5 because parking here is horrible!!!!! If you go, go on a Monday when the business next door is closed and you can use their parking lot (we did and didnt get towed but possibly you still can). Just as a heads up. Or get take out!!

Amazing coffee, mimosas and food! Stopped in 3 different times on our vacation. Parking is tight so we opted to walk or use the Lime scooters around town to stop by. Staff is very friendly and the art work is beautiful! Would highly recommend.

Great food, great service, great ordering system for quick pickups if you need it. I’ve been in and out of Tahoe for the past few years and every time I am in the area I always like to stop here. I’m totally obsessed with the Viet Breakfast Sandwich. I’ll probably never try anything else because I love it so much haha I’m good with it!

Hidden gem in South Lake Tahoe. If we could give more than 5 Stars we would! From the beautiful hostess, to the attentive waitress and the incredible chefs, a superb establishment! We had a delicious breakfast there on Saturday, October 12th. The Chilaquiles were incredible. The chef knows his stuff. Full of flavor, crispy and just the right amount of spice. Absolutely incredible! My husband said they were the best hes had, besides my mamas that is.We also tried the sweet delicious Rum French Toast that was heavenly. Made with pound cake slices for a moist texture without being soggy. Filling & satisfying. We shared it, and still couldnt finish it. Tasted just as good the next day, Im happy to say.I had The Cowgirl Hoagie which is made with turkey sausage, bacon, cheese, ham and a fried egg. Genius! All melted together and full of flavor, makes one amazing breakfast sandwich. Must try.All in all, A Cup of Cherries is a must try in South Lake Tahoe. It closes at 2:00 pm, giving you plenty of time for a late breakfast or brunch.

Try the Chile Relleno plate, the Singapore delight, or the Protein Daikon roll - eclectic combinations were perfectly cooked and tasty! Traditional breakfasts and crepes are also delicious. Kid friendly. Staff were super nice and helpful. Almost forgot that homemade habanero sauce - wow!

The coffee is by the cup; its good, but not incredible. They have a lot of espresso based drinks with lots of flavors, if you like that type of thing. The omelet was...an omelet (nothing special). BUT...the Viet sandwich is out of this world. Literally, one of the best breakfast sandwiches Ive ever had. All the different flavors work so well together. My rating is based on that. If you go here, get that. For me, its the only thing on the menu.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! If you are in the area this is where you have to go! The service is just awesome. Everyone is so nice and friendly and takes the to.e to talk and connect with you.Their coffee menu is to die for. And there menu, it was an I teresting mix of food options. But, I must tell you both of our meals were fabulous! Next time I make it to tahoe we are going their again.I took a few pictures. Not enough. You will see a picture of my breakfast. It was their chilli relleno breakfast special, it was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend got their banana pancakes with banana and coconut shavings and pecans and an icing of sorts drizzled on top with a side of bacon for his breakfast. Those pancakes were delicious! I also ordered the Strawberry fields coffee and my boyfriend ordered the Butterbeer.Overall fabulous. We were in Tahoe for a girls weekend. We consulted the internet for places for breakfast. Driftwood Cafe seems to always be one of the first things to pop up, but the line there is always long and weve eaten there before. Its just ok. We came across this restaurant that was also very highly rated and decided to check it out.We are so glad we did!! The menu on the wall has nothing but creative Chai, lattes, and other amazing hot drinks.The menu has everything from traditional breakfast omelettes to crepes and rum french toast.We had a pumpkin spice Latte. Others had a butterbeer and I had some hot tea.Even the traditional breakfast of bacon and eggs was delicious! But the crepes. OMG! This one is ham, eggs, havarti and a béchamel sauce.Nutella crepe with strawberries, bananas and pecans. Seriously? Yes! And rum french toast with a blueberry compote. Our waitress was awesome. She was very attentive and on top of all of our needs while we created another food coma. She even left us with this adorable sketch on our check.And as we turned to leave, I snapped a pic. She was still on it and flashed us a quick peace sign.We will definitely eat here again. The food was amazing!!

This cute little place is great for breakfast or lunch. Their menu includes a full espresso bar with many delicious options along with a variety of breakfast options, such as omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, crepes... you name it. They also have a great selection of lunch items that look fantastic but weve only been here for breakfast so far. They have some beer & wine options too. What distinguishes it from other places is the quality of their ingredients and their friendly service.For those that require gluten free meals, like my husband, rest assured that they have some very yummy options here and they will take care of you. But gluten free or not, you will have a healthy, delicious meal here with fresh ingredients that are locally sourced and you will enjoy the hospitality of the servers. This place is a must visit every time we are in town.

It absolutely overrated for the present time. Quantity and quality is way way way below average. I know something wrong when I came around lunch time and only few people there. I came here because I needed to work and they had wifi. I got crepes because it was on the cheaper side of the menu, and they did not disappoint! 😋😋Workers were very friendly and even though I was there over an hour(because I had to eat slowly to extend my time🤣)they didn’t seem to mind. I did leave as more people started showing up cause I didn’t want to take up a massive table when bigger parties were arriving… PS. Don’t mind the Black Cabin Coffee cup, I had gone there right before this.

Warning, dont actually have cherries, refers to coffee beans in a cup.They have a variety of foods with an eclectic take on many of their dishes ranging from Mexican, Singapore and vietnamese etc...Coffee was excellent, although I asked for iced and they brought hot. To be fair I didnt ask them to fix it, I was already drinking it. I had a breakfast sandwich which was very satisfying. Warm soft bread on outside, crunchy bacon on the inside.Staff was very friendly, I can see why its popular.

Wow! This place is very yummy. Im visiting from OR and came here for breakfast.ordered the chilaquiles en salsa verde with egg super good and got a Mexican spice mocha not to sweet which I like. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They made good recommendations they kept checking up on us. They were being clean and following covid regulations. Will be back during our stay, its walking distance from our hotel!

Massive environmental disappointment. Plastic utensils, paper plates, and they charge for water that is only served in disposable plastic bottles. The food was average, service was odd, the owner seems to be cutting corners on anything and everything. Menus, seating, water, cutlery, etc. Im surprised the use of the bathroom does not require a paid token. Having to tip before service is also something different... If you hate Lake Tahoe environment conservation and want to contribute to landfill use, this place is your jam.

This place is great. Walked up, ordered, and they had us pay immediately as opposed to at the end of the meal. The food was out in MINUTES. The food quality was amazing, despite the quick serving. I ordered the Island Pancakes, which were a unique dish of banana pancakes with a coconut drizzle on top. Price is reasonable for what you get. Was told by others that the French Toast and “Omlette Quesadilla” loaded with meats and pressed like a panini were equally as good. Coffee and cocoa were also tasty. Employees were attentive and joked a bit, very friendly atmosphere.EDIT JULY 2022: Just as amazing my second time around. I ordered the Rum Chai French Toast, and not only was it out quickly, but it was some of the best French Toast I’ve ever had.

Cozy place with friendly service to have breakfast.Parking is a little snug but if you can park, you will enter a great place to start your day.The breakfast crepe and the classic breakfast was pretty standard but the Mexican Spice Latte is recommended. Its apparently a latte with cayenne pepper and agave. Its one of those places that presents their lattes in a big cup and we pull out our cameras before sipping. Ill definitely be back to try other popular lattes.I much prefer A Cup of Cherries over Driftwood Cafe which is hectic with a lot of vacationers.

I was visiting tahoe and was craving a sandwich and salad and found this cute shop on yelp. I saw all the promising reviews and photos and decided to call in an order. It is close to the lake, but is a bit further from the more crowded shops area. They had a little parking lot next door which was really convenient. The shop is pretty small, but it seemed a lot of people were ordering to go when I came. Their menu is pretty extensive, with lots of fusion items that I was a bit wary of. Some items are a bit pricey, but most of their stuff is pretty reasonable. I would recommend looking at their menu on their website because it is pretty long. We ordered the Viet Hoagie and bad boy panini. We saw that the viet hoagie was really popular and was not disappointed. We liked that a small salad came with the sandwich as well. They also have a lot of different coffee drinks that I would love to try in the future. I would highly recommend this place if youre visiting tahoe soon.

Visiting from New York, this was the best breakfast I had the entire time I was in California. Though the Staff seemed a tad bit cold compared to the other restaurants we visited in the area. Th food came out speedy and incredibly delicious. I ordered and Highly recommend the “Chilaquiles and Island Pancakes.” the Chilaquiles reminds me of a dish I had while I was in San Diego from an Authentic Mexican restaurant, it was incredible. Secondly, the Island pancakes, are HANDS DOWN the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. Those are a MUST.I tried a piece of the omelette quesadilla, I must admit it to was very tasty and the spicy sour cream is like no other sour cream i’ve ever tasted. If you visit tahoe, you must visit A Cup of Cherries.

The cup of cherries cafe was a really nice, cozy place. The music playlist was spot on to my playlists. The servers were very nice and I will come back again. Had a delicous nutella crepe with bananas, pecans, strawberries with a raspberry tea and to top it all off their mocha was amazing! They have some really nice art pieces to look at while you eat.

Would have been five stars for the food, but the service was not good. They wouldnt let us order coffee or bring water until the whole party arrived and its not like they were full, and there was no wait either, the server just said the owner wouldnt let her do beverages because we would finish before the others. I said I didnt mind but they still refused. Super rude and just plain wierd. The island pancakes were awesome, but next time I will order to go.

Cute little breakfast place, my husband and I stopped by yesterday on our way out from our vacation in Lake Tahoe. The service was fairly quickly and the people were friendly. I got a mocha chai and my husband got a vanilla latte. Both the drinks were pretty good. We then got the breakfast hoagies. The hoagie rolls were fluffy and warm. Parking is limited could be a problem if you go over the weekends.

I ordered 2 eggs, hashbrowns, turkey sausage, toast (only one slice given), 1 coffee $5,(.75 cents extra for medium size), no refills,$23. Too many other places to eat in South Lake Tahoe with better food, service and pricing. We dined in. Plastic utensils, served on paper plates, coffee served in paper cups, as if meals were ordered to go. Pricing was equal, if not higher than other full service restaurants with real dinnerware. They didnt offer to refill coffee. Small place with limited indoor dining, some outdoor dining on US 50.

Biggest complaint was no tap or faucet water available with $45 meal. Only option bottled water. This is going to bother people when theres a heat wave in August. This place was recommended to us but we were not impressed at all! I ordered strawberry/blueberry crepes without the blueberry compost. They did not tell me that that meant there were just a few strawberries and NO JUICE/syrup on the crepes! I had to use regular maple syrup to choke them down with. I asked for a side of scrambled eggs and they were over-cooked and looked more like an omlet then scrambled eggs.... You have to stand at the register and order your food from a menu board! And the girl that took our order didnt seem to want to be there. She was not helpful when ordering our food. And the topper..... we were prompted to leave a tip when we initially paid for our food!! I dont tip BEFORE I get served!!

Our family stopped by this place for breakfast on our way back home from Lake Tahoe. I am giving this place a 3 star rating for refusing to move a small table next to use because it was too much to ask. We were a large party that included a toddler, and a baby in a car seat. They crammed us all in a corner and it was an uncomfortable.This aside, the food was very good. I ordered a cappuccino and it was great. We all shared food at the table and everything was well prepared. Their omelettes were delicious. I had the banana pancakes but they were slightly disappointing. They tasted kind of raw and gummy.Overall the service could have been better. Some of us waited too long for our food. This place is small and is not very good for large parties. At least that was our experience.

While staying in South Lake my friend was keen to get some crepes for breakfast, and A Cup of Cherries was conveniently just across the road from where we were staying.The woman at the front register was very welcoming and patient while taking our order. And when asked if we could get a towel to wipe off the wet table outside she went out of her way to run to the back, get a towel and wipe down the table for us, making sure the whole table was dry for us. She really went above and beyond for customer service.The Mexican mocha I got was quite good, with the right balance of sweet to spicy, and was served very quickly.The Rum French toast I got was about average, but satisfying. It had a good consistency and flavor, and it wasn’t too sweet, which I prefer for a French toast. The additional blueberry syrup/sauce was a nice touch which helped elevate the French toast.I didn’t get to try my friends crepes, but they said the Nutella and strawberry crepes were delicious.

This is a really cozy place with good coffee, good food and great service. We had the crepe and classic breakfast which were both good.We went in cold weather with our baby and dog and so we initially were sitting outside. The owner was really nice and let us bring our dog in to the table by the door. Thought this was a really nice gesture. Coffee is good too!

Great place. I came here because it’s near where we stay. The people working here are all so kind and pleasant, good vibes here. They’re food is so tasty, & seems to be made with fresh ingredients. Everything we had was fantastic.I got the Breakfast wrap....it is delicious but it is filling! I was surprised how much I liked it, bc I eat a lot of breakfast wraps & burritos. If your in the mood for a breakfast wrap While in S Lake come here & get this one! My wife had the sausage & mushroom quesadilla and it was so good she’s been talking about it since we finished. Very Happy I stopped by this place today. Next time I’ll try the mimosas.

Had great coffee and breakfast sandwiches before heading to Heavenly to Ski! So good we went back the next day and had them again. Staff was friendly, prices were reasonable. I was happy to find out they offered vegetarian options. I definitely recommend. Haven’t tried lunch or dinner yet, but would defiantly consider.

A couple of things:- We were told that they will let us know once there were available seats (since it was full when we came in). We were waiting by our car (just outside the cafe) and no one came to let us know. We just decided to go back in after seeing a couple of people coming out and the we found that the cafe was now completely empty. I visited this establishment on June 20th if 2020.I ordered some pancakes and they could not make them like I wanted and the owner came out to make sure he understood the order on the ticket. Owner was also the cook.I was very shocked to see him how come out. It was very nice and special to me that he cared about his customers happiness so much that he took the time to come out. All staff was also super nice.That is the review for the service.For the food: I ended up getting something different from the pancakes which I initially wanted. Arrived to the restaurant with wife and 8 month old baby. We set our diaper bag on one of the outside table. We were looking at the menu outside as it’s our first time going there, we noticed a group of girls walk in after us but didn’t think anything of it. My husband and I tried three different ships while we were there and Cup of Cherries exceeded them all by a long shot.The woman suggested the island latte and although it was a bit too sweet, it was delicious. We came here on 4th of July weekend. The food took almost 40 min to be ready, but we understand it’s a holiday so we didn’t say anything. They brought the wrong order to my friend and she had a bite and said it wasn’t what she ordered. They took her plate to bring the new order which took almost another 20 min. But the lack of customer service detoured me from enjoying my food.My family and I came around 10:00am and my husband went down to check how long the wait for table of 5. I get she is very young but but she is an employee working in a professional environment and we are not friends. And my oldest son asked me about the customer service so I had to educate him and the staff listening what expectations are in a dining industry. Then the staff started going around and asking others repeatedly how they were doing. The first table they were left there and the family at the table had to tell one of the staff that they did not order those drinks.When our food came our she dropped off the fourth plate and said enjoy. I asked about the fifth plate. But she walked away. I didnt catch her name. So my husband double checked the receipt and realized the order was not placed. So he went back up to the front to order my 3 year olds breakfast. We forgot his sippy cup so then my husband went up again to order a water. And Jaylin told her coworker to help us this time. Went here for breakfast and I picked the rum soaked french toast with a macchiato. I was given the regular french toast, which was floppy and bland. The berry compote it came with was good though. Macchiato wasnt great and it came with dairy milk when I asked for oat.Parking lot next to the cafe is busy. Prices were okay. There is a reason this place asks you to pay before receiving your meal. Our family chose this restaurant due to the positive reviews that were previously left, and we were beyond disappointed. All of the food we received was under cooked, under seasoned, and, overall not what we were expecting for their prices. Additionally, all of the food is served on paper plates and our mimosas were plain Cooks champagne, lacking any of the blackberry that was in the description, and was served in tiny plastic flutes. A server did ask us if wed like anything re-made, but when everything is wrong, it is pretty much pointless. I had them re-make my sons undercooked potatoes, so that at least one of us would be full when leaving. I highly suggest trying another place for breakfast.

Had a bad experience with ordering extra sourdough while having breakfast. Salt, pepper and sauces comes in small packets which is very inconvenient. Getting box juice instead of fresh one for $4.50 is not worth it. Overall had really bad experience. Also had really bad stomachache after easting a little bit. This was one of the best breakfast places Ive been to in a while and it was suggested by one of their loyal customers. I had the Mexican spice mocha and the Chile relleno, which were amazing, while my girlfriend had the breakfast sandwhich. We also split the Nutella crepe and had some wonderful mimosas. In the days prior to driving to Tahoe for the weekend, I made some notes about well-received restaurants in the area, via Yelp. A Cup of Cherries was one that made my list.I went this morning, after a long night of gambling. They have a complete menu board at the front, which is extremely helpful. I wanted to order the Japanese omelette, which I had read mentioned several times on Yelp, but weirdly it was not on the menu, and the hostess had no idea what I was referring to. So I switched gears, ordered their Korean wrap. And also a Banana Blanco coffee drink, cuz it sounded appealing.I waited outside, and after just a few mins a young lady brought out my coffee drink. Then just a few mins later, she brought out my Korean wrap. I was pleasantly impressed with their speed, as there were multiple walk in orders at the same time I visited.The Korean wrap was great. Kind of like a burrito, but with slightly different ingredients. The ham worked well grilled, and paired nicely with the kimchi and rice. Burritos have an extra layer of comfort with cheese inside, but I really enjoyed their take with this wrap. And the coffee was yummy too, smooth and with banana syrup flavoring.Overall, Im glad I made this trip for my lunch. Its different and better than most of the offerings you find if you only stay at the casinos in Tahoe. Only issue was that their prices are a little higher than Id prefer, but it was a nice little splurge for my getaway weekend.

We had the Viet Hoagie, the island pancakes, and the quesadilla. The Viet Hoagie was definitely the best - it’s savory, spicy, and refreshing with a surprising Asian twist. Simply above our expectations. The other two were great but not as memorable! Highly recommend get the Viet Hoagie if you are here by yourself! We also got the almond joy latte and snickers latte, they were good too. If you don’t like syrup and want to keep your coffee simple, maybe not for you. The food here was amazing! Im seriously dreaming about going back there. The dining area is cozy, and theres local art on the walls thats for sale. The service was really excellent as well. My children are young (2 &4), and as soon as we were seated the waitress brought us puzzles to occupy them. You can dine in or go straight to the front counter if you just want a specialty coffee drink to go. My boys had blueberry pancakes and the pancakes were hearty and amazing with a great flavor. The blueberry compote on top was perfection. They served really high quality bacon too. My husband has the matador panini which was divine and made even better by adding their house made hot sauce. The decor is very homey, there were local artists artwork covering the walls, we were giving a number puzzle for our 3 year old and the childs meal was brought out first thing, which most parents will deeply appreciate! We try to eat local when vacationing, I love supporting local businesses. The people outside had no masks on, so we went in unmasked to see if we could a table or place an order to go. The breakfast and brunch options feature all the usual brunch options (just two steps up in quality compared to everywhere else we tried) plus some delightful mexican inspired options.I also greatly appreciate their willingness to accomodate my food quirks as Im on an elimination diet to help identify allergies. “A Cup of Charges” is what I’ll call them after charging me extra for a single egg when they messed up my order. I was given French Toast instead of the French Toast Breakfast Sandwich I ordered. I am unsure why the rating for this plce is so high. Food was ok but it was quite bland. I am unsure if it was due to a staff argument that was going on by our table. One of the staff apologised for this but it caught the attention of everyone in the resturant. After paying it turned out our waitress had not charged us for the full bill. I reviewed the reciept after she came out to stop us as we were getting into the car. The receipt seemed accurate but she apologized about forgetting a an item. I went inside and paid the extra 5 bucks but something seemed off with how they charged me.

I settled for the Rum French toast.Food- hmmmmm I can honestly make better French toast. It was dry and not very flavorful.Service - acceptable. Water upon request. Water refill upon request. Checkout at the counter. When I asked if peanut butter was available the answer was “no”. First time there on vacation with friends to Tahoe, so we had no idea what was in store... when I ordered I pointed to the coffee I wanted while saying the same of the coffee (small vanilla latte) to order on the menue to the waitress and ordered the wrap- we had to ask for waters which were small shot glass size- the food was good but every small thing was added on- I asked for mushrooms substitute in my wrap and was charged $1.25 for that as well as the other 3 girls I was with which came out to be $6.00 just for mushrooms!!! - I asked for extra balsamic dressing that came on the salad and that was $0.99 extra!! We didnt even know how much we would get overcharged until the bill came- they overcharged all of my friends and I on our coffees and when we asked to talk to the manager HE TOLD US what we ordered even though he never took our orders and when I ordered my coffee I pointed to the small vanilla latte on the menu but with almond milk added - the small vanilla latte cost $4 on the menue but we were ALL charged for the size up coffee price which was $4.50 even though I never asked for a larger size or double shots in my coffee - PLUS almond milk - my coffee ended up being $6.00 With their bogus add-on charges that they refused to remove off our bill! Over all - all of my friends were over-charged for our coffee and food- and the manager didnt do anything about it but take off $1.00 off our bill- we were charged $13 IN EXTRAS!!!! That the waitress never even told us that they do that or that something small like asking for extra dressing on your salad would cost us $0.99 every time! We did not leave a tip because wth all the added fees and the waitress never taking the time to tell us that every little thing would cost us extra when we ordered and plus getting ALL of our coffee orders wrong and overcharging us all (4 girls) on our coffees made us feel like the tip we would have left they can take from the add-on charges they charged us! Please teach your waitresses to tell customers BEFOREHAND that everything is an up-charge and when we tell you that we didnt order the vegan coffee but that we ordered the small vanilla latte coffees then please take our word for it especially when you gave us small cups and they were sitting right there as you were telling us what we ordered. This place is a joke and I would highly avoid unless you want to overpay for everything and have a half decent meal thats not worth it- coffee was mediocre as well nothing special - you get a really stingy vibe as they are not open to give you normal portions and even water was given in small cups that we had to ask to be refilled several times- just annoying - use normal sizes and normal portions so that we can enjoy our meals and not keep asking for more and then get charged for more! Also, When we asked to take our food to go they gave us aluminum foil to wrap our food- the aluminum foil barely even covered half of the wrap that I wanted to save for our hike. Very very very disappointing place- avoid unless you want to double your breakfast bill for nothing :-/

This restaurant will not let you choose where you can sit despite the fact that there are empty tables everywhere. They will shove you in a table where you are not comfortable sitting at, and if you try to pick a spot they will say no because its for other customer who are a a party of 4 etc. Turns out a couple of minutes later they seat just 2 people on the spot that you want.I ordered blueberry pancakes. There’s nothing fantastic about it. Not worth $11. Not coming back here again.

Let me explain the 1 star review:This is entirely the fault of the manager, who was exceedingly rude and inconsiderate. This is how you don’t run a family business, with pettiness and a lack of respect for the basics of customer service. Which is a shame, because the servers were actually very friendly and the whole issue would have been resolved had the manager not barged in and rudely intervened.Long story short, someone had ordered a macchiato, thinking it was a like caramel macchiato and when the drink came, we asked the waitress if we could order a latte instead since the person misunderstood what a macchiato was. The server was very friendly, explained that they would swap it, no charge no problem. All very pleasant, until the bill came and the manager refused, insisting we pay for both drinks (one of which we didn’t even have) and shut down the conversation in a hostile manner. The fact that both we, and both servers tried to explain the situation meant nothing to him, as he placed his arrogance over customer service and wanted nothing more to do with us. We paid, and left - and this was how I remember my experience there. Frankly, a shame.

I would have given the place 4 stars if it wasnt for the slow ass service. There was one waitress to serve 7 tables or something, so it took her forever to finally take our order. My kimchee hoagie was damn delicious, with eggs, potatoes, kimchee and sriracha aioli sauce. However, once the place cleared out our waitress didnt check up on us so we had to get up to pay.
