Went in person after receiving an email my storage fees increased. This happens so often it’s stressful. I had to move 10 unit down same size. I couldn’t even downgrade because the few that were available were upstairs, that’s inconvenient. If you decide to move in get their online promo first. I missed out when I moved in, staff didn’t even give me first month free nor discounted price. Wish A1 self storage would reward those who pay on time and reconsider their high quarterly increases.

The process was very easy. The representative made sure that I knew where everything was including the bathroom. The storage space is clean and neat.Update: Since I have had tge storage space my price has gone up 3 times since this post. I still stand by my first review but the constant increase is becoming ridiculous.

I love this place, the staff, the clean setting most of the time, and clean bathrooms. No roaches or creepy animals have been seen on the premises since I first came over 10 years ago.But the prices keep going up. It is too expensive to maintain after being here a considerable period of time. Even moving to a smaller unit can be too high.What I dont like are vendors that have stuff outside their storage all over the place. It makes this nice storage look like a swap meet. Junky. Several people hanging around one storage. Trying to get to the bathroom can be a challenge at times. With peoples family members and friends hanging around. Also, I believe when this happens, we unknowingly drive over nails, and screws, and end up with holes in our tires. This has occurred several times to my tires. We may need security at some point(human).

If I ever need a storage unit again I would go back to A-1 Self Storage. Their customer service is excellent, no matter who is in the front office or on the phone. They accommodate their customers to the best of their ability. My friend got another storage elsewhere and we were able to compare prices, accessibility and their service. A-1 won hands down. The hours are very good for those of us that work a 9-5 and you can call to get an extension for that day to have access to your unit. Open 7 days a week too. And on my last month they gave me no hassles and only charged me for the time used. I received great service all the through.

This location is clean and convenient the guy who works there is helpful and sweet, however I do have a complaint, I was told they use special locks so I purchased one only later realizing that I had the same lock from the time i rented once before and asked if I could just refund and return the new lock when I was told no refunds even though they just sold me the exact same thing I had already purchased from them a few years before. In this aspect I feel cheated they got money from me they shouldnt have.

I personally store my items here and I absolutely love the cleanliness of this place. My storage is dust free and insect free. The first time I came here, I was given a grand tour to see what size of a unit best fit my needs. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Brittany has been the most helpful in getting me a transfer in the size of my unit... The employees truly look out for your best interest!!

The facility is clean and very well maintained. The staff is courteous and very professional, and I feel like my belongings are secure. But I do have one complaint. They increase the rent periodically, and they do so without giving notice. Ive been a customer for years, though, and I really have no other complaint. They are otherwise exceptional.

Ive utilized the storage space at A1 Storage for almost 2 years. And the service has been good most of the time. It is a safe place to keep your valuables. Ive never had a problem with security.And most of the staff are friendly and attentive to my needs. I miss Susan. She was nice, down to earth and professional combined.So far, the new staff are just as friendly. The bathroom has shown much improvement. I dont like the low pressured flush, it doesnt work well. A bathroom should always be clean, and equipped with soap, toilet paper and paper towels. And I recognize the improvement in the last few months.This is a good place, But I wish the rates had not increased. Still not too bad, compared to other places.

I have had the opportunity to rent from several storage facilities and this one is by far the best. Its clean, safe and everyone that works there is fabulous. Im very pleased with the service that I receive. I love that they call you if they think there is a problem at the facility. Great job!

I love this place. I havent used a storage company in over 20 years...so prior to selecting A1 and my storage spot...I did my research. That said they have the best prices overall, the customer service was amazing!!! Love Brittany!!! She helped me the first time I went in and Patricia helped me the second time I went in. This would be my 3rd time using A-1 self storage, I am really satisfied with their service, customer service and the facility (use, cleanliness) are great. The place is clean, organized, the staff is polite and very helpful. The rental of the units might seem a bit pricey at first but compared to what you get in return it’s worth it.

Im onsite quite a bit and get to observe their dedication to their facility and tenants ! As a business owner, there amenities help me run my company more efficiently. I was in the market for an indoor storage facility for one of my vehicles. I did numerous Internet searches and found A-1 Self Storage in Paramount, CA. I first reviewed their website and noticed it contained the current space availabilities and prices. I also reviewed their facility using satellite view of one of the popular Internet map sites and it appeared very clean and secure. Then I went to review the facility in person and found it to be new, clean and well maintained, ample space, and ample security cameras. The people I spoke with, both on the phone and in-person, were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I feel very fortunate to find a clean, secure, friendly facility at a great price. I would enthusiastically recommend A-1 Self Storage to anyone needing great storage at a great price. A++++++++++

The young ladies that work at A1 are all extremely helpful and more than willing to show you around the entire facility until you find what youre looking for. The facility itself is practically brand new, clean, and very easily accessible. There is plenty of space to park and un/load even if you dont have a drive-up unit. Above all, it is far cheaper than the competition. After shopping around, glad I went with A1.

And Kristie helped her help me (instead of hanging out in the back somewhere). Nice facility. Clean Storage. Well lit. Mine is inside. Locks were included in the price. First month free or $1.00 (whatever it is, its real). No long contracts. I got the 5 X 5 space I needed for way under $50.00 out the door. Awesome. And the ladies were extra nice. Go! Go! Go! Worse storage place. Receptionists and manager Patricia have bad additudes. She kept trying to shut me down on everything I said regarding canceling my unit. Theyre never in the office when I need a cart. And put me on hold for 30 minutes just to hang up. Dont go here!

I been with A-1 strorage in paramount for almost two years, out of all the places that I visited or called, Susan was the only person who contacted me for a follow up..I knew then i found a place that went the extra mile for their customers..Susan and her staff has exceded all my expectations.I have a couple of storage places closer to my home but I rahter drive extra few miles and come to this well maintain facility.I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a storage unit.

Quite a few years ago, my Girlfriend and I rented a storage unit from this A1 Storage location while we were staying in a room in my parents house for a few years. Almost 4 years ago, though, we got our own apartment. So, we didnt need to rent the storage room from them anymore.Unfortunately, my now Fiancé and I have fallen on some hard times recently. We need to move to a smaller, more affordable, place, and we need a place to store our extra stuff. This is the first, and only, place that came to our mind!This A1 Storage location is great! Defineately would, and have, recommended it to others. The units are well lit and very clean, there is a helpful/friendly staff, and its all at a pretty good/reasonable price. So those are definitely some of the reasons weve decided to rent a unit from them again!
