The drinks (their signature iced coffee and the Thai tea) were both terrible - definitely a 1/10 on that. The Berry Tale was delicious as always (as is their Mango Tale) but the other two pastries I got (Strawberry puff something - two little squares with a half strawberry on each, and the mango custard bun were both flavor lacking at best and total throw away items). The strawberry half moon which was heavily prompted was out of stock and when I asked (on a Sat) when they would have more they said IDK maybe Thursday. For a place that advertises they bake their own items and for all the strawberry promo they had I was shocked to hear it would almost be a half week until *maybe* they had more.

The remodel looks great and it is nice to have more seating available. However the last few times I have went, the customer service has been really terrible. My drink was made incorrectly and the girl at the register argued with me about what I ordered even when I specified I couldn’t have the salt foam because of medical issues. My drink hasn’t changed in 7 years but she insisted I ordered the current trendy Taro Lavender Salted latte. I am sure she just hit the button rather than hear me because neither of my drinks were correct but I wasn’t worried about the second one. I’m not sure what she wanted me to do when so voices it wasn’t correct and dangerous for me to drink…. maybe throw away my drink so she didn’t have to make it right or just drink it and end up in the hospital again. Anything besides her having to remake it. The drinks have gone down in generally, no foam, barely crushed ice. The milk is never aerated, I do not know if they train them on hot beverages but they are always burnt tasting now. The buns selection has been limited even when I go right after a night shift at 8 am.

Theres times when they ran out of ingredients and its a bummer because theres not another location near. As for customer service, I can tell the employees either are tired or dont want to work there. The bread is good and so as the drinks. It just sometimes they ran out of food quickly lol.

Many times Ive come here and there has been issues. Today takes the cake. Asked for a passion fruit green tea...dont have green tea. Ok...I asked for a large cafe latte...with boba and soy. Dont have soy milk. Im done...always something. How hard is it to keep your product stocked. Not everyone can do dairy. Its a big disappointment.

Waited 10 minutes to pay. Waited 15 minutes for my drink, I noticed folks getting their orders before mine then they realized they forgot my drink. Ordered lychee green tea and Drink itself was WAY too sweet.

Showed up and there was no coffee drinks available because of maintenance. Weird I guess, so I order a strawberry matcha. Weird thing is, they’re out of strawberries, but don’t bother mentioning it, and just serve it to me like no big deal. 😂 when I mentioned there was no strawberries, he says, “it still tastes like strawberries”. Not a great first impression. Don’t sell drinks you don’t have the ingredients for!!!

The tables are not clean. Almost every time you come here you can not get a hot coffee. There are no condiments for the coffee like cream or sugar. The staff are inattentive. Its a shame when the products are good, but the service is bad, and the dining area is dirty and disorganized.

First time here at National City location and we’re in line on Thanksgiving Day for their Egg Tarts. Due to covid, and just like any other places. There’s max 10 people at a time that can go inside. Thankfully, they had plenty in stock and already wrapped individually. I like this location, because they pick up the phone even when they’re busy.Love their website, I find it useful when looking up ingredients. Like what’s on their Egg Tart?Tart Shelll (Bleached and Unbleached Enriched Flours, Unsalted Butter, Water, Sugar, Salt.), Milk, Cream, Eggs, Sugar. Contains Egg, Milk, Wheat.

Great selection. We always try something different here and it never disappoints. Really glad to have brand new items as well whenever we stop in. Also, if you come early, you get to smell the fresh pasties baking. Yumm!
