Great location, close to all the bars and restaurants; however not what I expected. The check-in process is daunting, as it’s full of disclosures on what fees will be charged, so read carefully. Not the friendliest staff. I arrived at 2:30 on a Monday with no other guest in site, with a straight face the concierge says “check in’s at 3pm”. I am aware of hotel check in times, but being empty does that really need to be said if my room is ready?! The hotel claims to be pet friendly, but every manicured plot of grass has a “no pet zone” sign. The only place you can bring your dog is a dry dusty area, and even there has a sign saying “no dogs”! What kind of dog wants to relieve themselves in a tiny dust patch? I ended up going across the street every morning. The rooms are less than desirable. The walls are paper thin! I could hear every single word the unit next door was saying. No privacy what-so-ever. I was awaken each morning with loud cartoons and kids bouncing around. I could hear the people above us stomping, talking and water running throughout out the pipes. I was surrounded by noise. The good thing is the TV’s were smart and big, making it easy to connect streaming. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchenette, but knobs were falling off the oven and just using the toaster would set off the smoke alarm. The rooms definitely need to be updated. Be warned, the pool looked completely different from the photos online. The fees weren’t bad. Pets are charged $30 a day and parking is free. I wasn’t expecting them to charge my card immediately; as I wanted to use another form of payment. Most hotels I stay at charge upon checkout. I came to Lake Tahoe to be calm and relaxed, but left frustrated and annoyed.

This is one of the best kept secrets in South Lake Tahoe! Best hot tub (large and open late 😉) Great rooms…extremely comfortable beds and not to mention the location! It is tucked back a block from the main road and casinos so it is quiet but if you want to go out to Heavenly village, restaurants or casinos it is a very short walk. I also want to mention the customer service Jessica and Julie and Ray are all super amazing at taking care of you… many different types of rooms and dog friendly. Excellent place to stay in South Lake Tahoe! I come back each time ….

This is a pretty nice place to stay. I enjoyed the friendly and quick service at the front desk. The room was good but I could hear my neighbors TV and barking dog. Regardless, it was still a clean and restful place to sleep. I also enjoyed the hot tub outside.

Weve stayed there a few times and like it. Weve stayed in their suites as well as their regular rooms. The regular rooms have more privacy than most inexpensive hotels because the room windows face the back, so you dont see people walking by in front. The suites are very nice and not too expensive. We felt very much at home in the suites. We once had some noisy neighbors but the management (without us saying anything) asked them to keep the noise down.

Weve stayed here twice and we would definitely come back. The first time was years ago and it was in better condition then, however the prices are still reasonable and the location is great. Located within walking distance to many attractions. We were given a free upgrade to the king suite (both times we stayed here) and it was a pleasant surprise! There are some eclectic furnishings and decor throughout the resort, a pool table with one ball missing, and some cleaning needed, but the room came with kitchen wares available for use, a fireplace, a large bathtub and some other extras. For the price, it was worth it.

Last minute holiday trip with my pups. The staff was super, the room was a bit dated, but clean, comfy bed, and cozy fireplace. This spot was recommended to me and I recommend it also. Good spot. Easy to walk around and a great outdoor hot tub. Good experience. Watch out for Bear in the dumpster (seriously)!!

If you want to get a good sleep, I don’t recommend to stay here. Here is why, I can hear people walking on the second floor that kept waking me up. Also, the heather intermittently making sounds so loud that kept waking me up. It’s not the heather broken, it’s outdated. If you don’t like a smell of dogs, don’t stay here. As I walked into the room, the smell of dogs hit my nose so hard. But the room is nice. The property is walkable to downtown and heavenly gondola.

The rooms are a little outdated with cosmetic blemishes but it’s got a lot of soul and is inexpensive. We stay hear every year. Staff is too notch. In the suits there are a connecting room with a shared door and it can be loud!

Kind staff. Very pricey for the shape the rooms were in and how outdated the accommodations are. Bed somewhat comfortable, however, lots of bugs in the kitchen. I informed the front staff and they called housekeeping. Never improved. I would not recommend this place unfortunately. It needs lots of updates. Owner needs to give this place lots of love and attention.

When we first arrived there was an issue with our room and Jessica went above and beyond to make it right! 10/10 customer service!The room itself had great features like a fireplace and soft sheets. The bathroom floor was slightly dirty and we could very easily hear our neighbors to our side and above.Overall a good value! The 2 hot tubs were amazing at night and it was great to have access to a washer and dryer.

Had a great time in Tahoe! Had a group of 6 and they were able to get us in a family unit that slept everyone. Service was great, rooms were clean and warm, and we were walking distance from the lake and the Heavenly gondola. Amazing little spot! We will be back!

Business is charging a full price when we did not even stay for a cancelled event during a wild fire. I kept calling and sending an email to cancel the reservation but they did not even respond to any of my contacts to avoid the cancellation. Very sneaky tactic!

Service was great, room was nice, but I just didnt like that there was no microwave. The jacuzzi was available from 10am to 10pm, but pool wasnt heated & so it was closed. It was very close to everything which was nice.

Garbage !! Beware !I would not suggest this place to anyone! There is so many things wrong. I will try to make this review as short as possible, but please keep in mind I’m leaving a lot of bad stuff out as I am limited to the amount of sentences. When we first arrived, the two females behind the desk were confused at the total amount due because we paid online on their website. They were never able to figure out the discrepancy and promised twice that somebody would call us regarding the $27 owed to us and then they billed us $50 for the incidentals that were never used. They still have yet to return our third phone call, I am giving all hope at this point. My money has been taken. We tried turning on the heater or wall air conditioner, just to be gassed out by a horrendous God awful smell. We could not shut the unit off fast enough, it was disgusting. Tried to open up the window, but the latch was broke, and the glass was cracked, so I gave up there too. Some of the rooms have a fireplace, but they do not tell you that it is wood-burning, and you have to bring your own wood. This one one had a fireplace that smelled so bad that I am not sure what substance or material was burned in that fireplace before us. I was a heavy smoker for 20 years, and this smell irritated my throat and lungs all night and it was bad in the morning, very bad... The customers are burning weird stuff in the fireplaces, there are no checks & balances to what people are really burning in there. The drain in the bathtub was plugged, had to waffle stomp it, as I tried to take a disgusting shower. The TV had no Guide, so you are totally guessing on digital channel numbers. We only received about 25% of the channels we were supposed to get because the Wi-Fi is horrible for every single device on the property.- Took extra of my Money !- Disgusting !• Just don’t stay there !!

So many issues with this place:-Room keys stop working each day, sometimes every few hours.-They dont bother to refresh the coffee machines.-Popcorn machine doesnt work.-They unplug the TV and guest computer in the office to prevent use.-They disallow teenagers from using the pool table despite any signs saying so.-Fire pits dont work.-They dont have extra blankets.-They dont have enough pool towels.-Most staff are nice but spend a lot of time lollygagging instead of tending to things that obviously need to be fixed or replenished.-They barricaded the door to the hot tub area. The sliding glass door was working fine but they said it was broken. I think they were annoyed by people going in and out that way and not always closing the door.-One male staff member was especially rude when my room key wasnt working for the 6th time, accusing me of saying the wrong room number when I specifically did not (he mistook me for another guest that was having the same problem).

Stayed there for 4 days. The room is as described in the photos. The bed is very comfortable, but the headboard layout is uncomfortable when trying to lay with your head up (the headboard is metal with bars). The pet area is a joke. They have signs over the property about pet areas. However, you still have to take your pet off the property to use the restroom. The yard maintenance is terrible. More dirty and trash, pet waste, cigarettes buts,and not well light at all. Parking is limited as its a first come, first serve basis. The lobby is clean and friendly staff. One staff member was visibly smoking out front within 10 feet from the door. Overall, the location is close to walking distance for tourists, and the lake is close by (but private beach access, you will need a code from another property).

Weve stayed at the 3 Peaks every November since 2019. Its a great little hotel and we love that its walking distance from Heavenly. The lobby always has decent brewed coffee, they have a pool table, hot tub, pool and they allow dogs! So many hotels that weve been to only give you a couple of thin blankets but the beds and pillows here are comfortable and have a nice big comforter. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the rooms need repaired - our security latch on the door was broken and last year the bathroom door lock was broken and the sink drain was clogged. Other than that we are still happy staying here :) if you can get one of the bigger cabin style rooms its got a fireplace and little kitchenette which is really nice!

We booked a room for one night for 50 dollars. When we arrived, we were told that they were fully booked and didnt know why our booking was approved. But we were upgraded to a beautiful room within 5 minutes. At no extra charge. Clean, large, nicely furnished and a comfortable bed. Thank you very much.

Best priced self laundry room 1.50 to was and 1$ to dry it’s cheaper than any of the laundry mats in town just 2 blocks from heavenly village and casinos, applebees, Starbucks and blue dog pizza. I would rather stay here than the casinos. This is the best hotel for your money in Tahoe.

Dog friendly. Our room was clean when we arrived . They had coffee and cocoa in their lounge, and it was free! Our room had a smart TV, easy to log into all our streaming apps, but they did provide cable. Our bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. would come again.

I LOVED THIS HOTEL. I came here with my family for vacation, and for our first day we lived here. Their room were big and easy to find. The front desk guy is very nice, and I loved the pool table. If your coming to Lake Tahoe, I really recommend this hotel.

I stayed here during a weekday and was very impressed at the value this place offers. My room seemed to have been updated recently and my bed was large and comfortable, the linens felt soft and high quality, and the room was sufficiently clean. I verified before I booked my room that the hot tub was working and was happy to use it after a long day on the slopes. I considered a 4 star review here just because of a rather terse exchange with the blonde front desk girl who declared that “[she] had never set foot in any room on the property” when I asked if the room she had placed me in was renovated. Seemed like an odd comment. Nonetheless the rest of the team there seems to be doing a great job.

TRASH, we were given room 507 for which is a 2 bd apt for almost 1500 for 2 nights but never again the carpet might was dirty of might be a wrong selection of color bc looks disgusting 🤮 but the worst thing was the bathroom first of all is too tiny and secondly I don’t even know why this room isn’t out of order bc the bathroom seriously needs maintenance the bath tub slinding door was tiding up from both sides, the toilet wasn’t firm was swinging and the bath tub faucet for the cold water was loose so some of us got burnt bc while showering bc cold water was hard to get this room needs attention and be out of order until this issues get resolved also the WiFi was slow

Good location in South Lake Tahoe but lots of bad roads all around. Parking can be a problem if the lodging is full. Starbucks, restaurants and a Safeway are close by. Ideal for those on a budget.

I didn’t expect to see my room to be renovated. My room was completely renovated. The king size bed has soft white sheets and cover, similar to heavenly bed. Nice design of the room. Huge flat screen TV. Bathroom has granite tub/shower walls. It looks like all rooms have balconies but it was sealed for the winter. I brought a pet and they didn’t have any problems with it. Check in and cleaning staff was friendly. Great price for the renovated room! Highly recommend to check it out.

My boyfriend and i stayed here, and I spilled some of the coffee (that you brew from the complimentary coffee maker they have in the room) on the bed because it burned me, and they charged us almost 300 dollars.The bedding is all white.One would assume that that is because of the ability to bleach them if they get stained.When asked why they werent able to bleach the sheets, they informed us that they never wash the sheets, therefor they had to throw the sheets away when I spilled the coffee. 😐

I usually dont stay at hotels much, this was the cheapest price so I chose it. For 49$ a night was okay. Person in front of me had trouble with how he booked, so I had to wait seems more than 20mins to check in, they guy at the desk didnt know what to do and didnt think to let me in first, and I was so tired.. the room with king bed was alright by itself, except, 114, where I stayed, had an unpleasant odor coming from the carpet I believe.. so I cleaned their ac filter just in case.. ceiling light wasnt working so it was dimmed and not bright in the room. Tbe internet wasnt good. The bedding was my favorite, very soft sheets and warm blanket. Coffee at their reception was horrible, they dont give creamer powder in the rooms and had none at front desk, however, next day I went in there they did have 3 kinds of creamers, which surprised me (they heard my comment that I never seen hotels without creamer) so that made me 😃 smile. This place has really gone down hill in the last couple years. Don’t give in to the slightly lower price for this place, stay somewhere else (I suggest Hotel Azure). We stayed here exactly one year ago and really enjoyed it. The hot tub was very enjoyable and the hotel was clean. This year, we had the same exact hotel room and it just felt run down and musty. The shower doesn’t drain so you’re standing in a puddle the whole time, and the hot tub was “out of service” which gave us no reason to stay there. I wish they would tell you their best amenity was broken before you make a reservation. Also a neighboring room’s AC unit was broken so it was making the loudest sound that kept us up all night. The front desk lady was nice so I’ll give them that. Moral of the story is just stay somewhere else, you’ll get a much better experience for just an extra $20-30.

Discounted entrance to private beach on Lake Tahoe was an awesome feature. Room is a small lodge that you would assume in Tahoe woodsy feel. Staff was pleasant. Super dog friendly. Great pool area. Wonderful experience, the gentleman that checked me in was quite helpful. Handled my service animal notification appropriately (med alert) and told me where to get a good meal after traveling all day. Same gentlemen helped me with key card issues with no problem. Last night some random black Hyundai parked in our disability parking spot right in front of our room. He had no disability parking pass either. My girlfriend is extremely disabled. This is not ok. We called the front desk and said they would call their security team to deal with this parking situation. The walls are super thin too so basically you can hear a tv right behind our bed, stomping above you, cars parked right outside your bedroom patio, random loud ac or machinery etc. Asked for room service on the 1st day. We stayed here for 4 days and we never got room service once. Never coming back here. Not worth saving $20 a day for a room.

The place has a pool too.The parking is first come first served basis but a parking permit is provided that allows you to do street parking with out any issues even though it has signs saying 2hrs only but with parking permit provided it is ignored

Very nice & wide rooms, first come first serve free parking, very very near to gondola rides & a private beach.Receptionist was rude & never mentioned about any service the hotel is offering. I walked in with my 2 years old at 9pm to checkin, she saw us & left, saying i will be back… alright that was a lifetime. No microwave inside the room.Watch out for bears, I was in the parking at 12am trying to look for a spot & saw few guests on second floor telling me to be careful since they saw a bear in the dump area looking for food. I don’t know if that was a rumor or truth.

This place feels like a Motel that someone stopped caring about. Our floor has a soft spot that someone half heartedly tried to repair by throwing a piece of plywood under the carpet. The windows are filthy. The shower has leftover soap residue from a previous guest. The computers in the main office had to be rebooted between each check in, and the printer didnt work. The air conditioner in our room randomly decides to stop working and we have to unplug it and replug it in. They dont do housekeeping during your stay unless you specifically ask for it 24 hrs ahead. If this was the budget motel it would be par for the course but this place charges like its a cut above. If Im in the area again Ill be giving this place a pass. At least the ladies at the front desk are nice. The taqueria across the street it legit too.

Was a little nervous about this place after reading some negative reviews, but our experience was very positive! The room was quite large, clean and very comfortable. We had all of the amenities we might need. We always felt very safe and secure. The location absolutely cannot be beat, a very short walk from Heavenly Village (and the casinos, if thats your thing) and within a half hour srive or so to every point youd want to visit on Lake Tahoe. The shower could be a bit bigger, and the keycards lost their codes a few times, but those are nits compared to a great experience. Thank you!

The reason I can only give this place 2 stars is because every time I left my room, my key would stop working and I would get locked out. Even when the front desk made me a new one, it sometimes wouldn’t work. I made trips back and forth to the front desk every time I had to step outside for something. Very inconvenient, especially in rain.Secondly, the walls are crazy thin. My neighbor came back to his room at midnight and woke me up with the TV blasting. I could hear literally everything he did - including going to the bathroom - not exactly a charming noise to keep you up at night.That being said, the staff was AMAZING. The staff was overwhelmed with check ins and all the key card complaints, but they were so kind and helpful every time. That front desk girl needs a raise! I’m so glad she was there to help me through the crazy key card situation.

The place is beautiful very close to the lake and walking distance to the stores and restaurants the only thing we didnt like that they gave us a room that we didnt reserve, the room it self was beautiful but it smelled so much like smoke because of the chimney we called so we can change it we ask for jacuzzi tub and we didnt get it either they told us they couldnt moved us because it was sold out my husband and I suffer from allergies and that room was killing us with the fire place is disappointed that you go drive many hours to relax and you get the opposite. It would of been perfect if they would of just moved us.

The hotel was clean and in an awesome location. Walkable to Heavenly Village and beach. There was one rude lady at the desk. When I attempted to check in at 2pm she was nasty and when I went to check out she wouldnt give me a receipt stating I need to get it from the third party I booked through. My new favorite stay in South Lake. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated and are very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room stayed a consistent temp. DON’T recommend.you will not get in the room after all day driving because they are not assure your room which even already paid a month before. you are get lost where to go at the middle of the night, seriously. Their management is absolutely bad. you cant expect anything from them even this situation is not your fault.I wish I would have not booked this hotel. They ruined our vacation. I have stayed here twice, the 1st time a few months ago on a solo trip, the second time with the family. Both times it was great. The pool is nice and the hot tub is even better. I had a room with a jetted tub and a regular shower which was super nice. This will be my go to place to stay everytime I go to Tahoe. When I stayed here with my family we got a room with a kitchenette it was super clean and it was nice to cook in our room. They had nice no stick pots and pans as well.

Stayed for a few nights, older lady at the desk was very, very rude. Other staff were helpful though. Room I got had a door that you could barely open and the keys stopped working after every night. We also found a gross sock by the bed that wasn’t ours when we first went in. They offered Vouchers for a discount price to the “private beach” $5 off. In the past this hotel was one of our go too. This is no longer the case! I would advise to look into other hotels and reviews on different sites and get a good idea of how badly this hotel has become. The Best Western and other hotels score much better and provide higher quality. 3 Peaks has really outdone themselves with dimished service and accommodations. Things have gone way downhill, starting with the Mgr. Maria, an awful person, rude and just nasty! We should have known right away that Marias behavior was a big clue to how bad this hotel has fallen. Her demeanor is completely unacceptable, her customer service is ZERO and in hindsight an indicator of how this place has no care or concern except for a money grab. She was not the only unconcerned employee. After the fact, we decided on checking on several sites it is apparent that 3 Peaks has hit its heyday and is no longer a decent place to stay. Check around because there are other accommodations in this area that exceed expectations. Unfortunately this place is not what it was nor cares to address these problematic issues. Contacting the higher management did nothing except provide excuses.

We were hoping to go camping but the site we use each year was full. We looked online for somewhere to stay and this place popped up. We were so happy to stay here. We had issues with the Tv because the remotes batteries dead but that was not really an issue. Recently booked a room last minute for one night. The front desk staff was very nice at check in and they were very busy. We just got a standard room that was pet friendly. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, one of the two beds was very uncomfortable but it was just one night. Had to pay extra for a microwave which was not a big deal just didnt realize they dont offer them in all the rooms. Would stay there again but only with a receipt from check out. I was over charged $30, I have been calling for the last day and half and can not reach anyone. Every time I have called in the last 24 hours I get the recording then hold music and then it disconnects. 4 Stars for the hotel; 1 star for the extra charge that I cant get resolved …

I stumbled across 3 Peaks Resort through a tedious search of 1-night stays in Tahoe. Originally found on Airbnb but avoided the service fees booking through another third party. Pro-tip: Book through a third party other than Airbnb as it will save you about $35.Pros: Staff was very friendly. Jen is AMAZING! Loved the 1 bedroom suit with a king bed. The bed was AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE. It’s medium plush and the best I’ve experienced in many, many budget stays. It was difficult to climb out in the morning! Carpet was very clean. Microwave was spotless. Black out curtains in both rooms make it easy to rest. The location was very quiet and off the main streets.Cons: $30 pet fee per pet. This was minor considering the price point but thought I’d mention. The walls in the bathroom need painted - multiple scuff marks from previous travelers. The surface of the dresser had a crusty formation I avoided. Thankfully it was darker in color but still gross.Overall, great experience would definitely stay here again! If you need a good rest from traveling or hiking, the beds here are well worth the stay. So comfy!

We stayed for about a week. The room was clean and loved they had a laundry room I was able to utilize. The mattress was a bit firmer then most beds but not too uncomfortable. We had a great experience viewing a bear walking by from our Balcony. They do warn bears are all around.I found there location to be a bug Pro as well as a Con. Pro because it is walking distance from many restaurants and the beach. The public beach charges about $25 a person. Staying at the 3 peaks, they provide a coupon for every day you stay and you will pay just $5 per person. The con comes when leaving the motel. The exit of the motel meets a rounding street corner. There were several times we would check both sides, start to drive and a vehicle coming from the curve would come rushing by. We would have to abruptly halt in the middle of the rd. Even if your staring at the corner as you pull out, if a car is coming fast enough, it can be dangerous.

A friend recommended this hotel and so we got the two-room suite but the fireplace and balconies. It is a great location with an amazing hot tub. We had a few hiccups with some of the things not working like the fireplace which the glass was completely broken out of and missing. There was no way to control the heat so we had to keep the windows open with the snow falling outside. We stayed in a lot of hotels and for some reason, we cannot see where the functions or the switches were for the heat in this particular hotel. The two-room suite we got was actually two hotel rooms with two separate entrances and a connecting bathroom door. It was a very neat set-up and we really liked it a lot but when we walked out of our room, our key did not work for that room, even though we got room keys for that door. So when we left to go eat at night with our kids, when we came back tired and ready for bed, we could only get into one of the rooms. We couldnt get into our room. We had locked the bathroom door to keep the kids out of coming into the second room, not thinking that we couldnt get in through the outside Hotel door but that was the case. Not even the master key worked for the hotel. They sent somebody to help but none of his keys work. They had no way of getting into the hotel rooms front door or the bathroom which had a deadbolt and a keylock or through the second hotels entrance, (the shared bathroom). They had no key. My boyfriend had to get in by sliding a knife blade down to unlock it. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. These are not enough to not want to stay here again. It is a really great spot, and I highly recommend this place but just double-check everything I mentioned to make sure they address it. Im hoping to still get a call back from this place for compensation.

You can even take pets to this hotel which I thought was awesome. I was very impressed with the spaciousness for the cheap price. Checking in was easy and checking out was even easier. Overall, 3.5/5 stars from me. We worked from here one full week mid August. Here are my top takeaways.The headboards are metal bars and we kept hitting our heads when we went to lie down.Shower pressure is fantastic and the water gets so nice and hot. The rooms are overall quiet and we never heard neighbors next to us, although we did hear foot steps above us. The AC was strong. The area is walkable and the pool was nice also. They don’t provide pool towels that we saw. There is coffee in the lobby certain hours in the morning and a microwave and toaster.The cleaning crew is very on top of it and accommodating if you ask for anything.The lobby staff was very unresponsive: one night we saw the trash in the side yard had been gone through like a bear or raccoon, and we called to report it and nobody answered the 4 times we called. We asked for a coffee mug because we were there a week but because we booked a basic king room and not a 2BR with kitchen, they wouldn’t give us one. It felt wasteful to use their styrofoam disposable cups daily. It’s the little things. Another time my husband went to ask a question in the lobby and while he was printing something, nobody else there, the phone rang and the lobby staff answered, put them on hold, and carried on their lunch conversation and didn’t pick back up.To do laundry, bring your own quarters because the front desk won’t give you change.On a side note, Thai on Ski Run was one of the best restaurants we had in Tahoe (takeout both times). Food in Tahoe is really pricey and everything felt like a “just miss.” We also loved Sugar Point Beach for a day trip - pack a picnic from Smart and Final or something fun!

I got the one bedroom suite. Only had a couple issues. One being the adjoining room where their lights shine through into the hallway in my room. I think its because two rooms can be joined together as a two bedroom suite but unfortunately I could see their light all night not to mention their noise. The other was every time they would go out of the porch the motion sensor light would go on and shine the light into my bedroom while I was trying to sleep. It felt a bit uncomfortable and knowing that it seemed like somebody can just walk through the other door into my place. You can also hear the upstairs people taking showers because it was so loud the water running through the pipes. I also had to call maintenance the first morning because I couldnt get the shower water to turn off. Otherwise definitely a cool little relaxing place to say with a full kitchenette some of the units. Mine had one, also came with a fireplace.

Loved this little place! Not a super big hotel, just enough parking, even if its not directly in front of your room- but who cares? Its like a 2 minute walk to your room at max distance no matter where you park. The best part of the hotel is their double tiered hot tub! You heard me a literal first floored hot tub with stairs to the next level, and the next levels water does a sort of infinity waterfall thing into the hot tub below. Super cool idea with a great execution. I wish the jets in the bathtubs (in the rooms) were stronger, but the bath next to the bed was fun and convenient. Plus the shower I had in my room was super cool, but my friends was very basic even though we ordered the same room, I hope everything gets updated soon! The only thing I did NOT enjoy about my experience was the front desk worker, Yuri- Yori- Not sure how its spelled. She just wasnt very nice, very off putting, and gave the absolute bare minimum at best during our interaction- enough to where its like month and a half later and decided to throw it in the review, lol.

We loved it here! We came at the last minute at the end of 2019 right before the sh*+ hit the fan and we had a great time. There was a small hill right out back that kids can go down… or at least we did. We will be returning this winter for the first time since the pandemic and will stay in the townhouse. FYI- we left all of our souvenirs the last time we visited and they happily mailed them to us! The room was clean and nice. No complaints. It’s close to a lot of things. We walked to a Ferris wheel not too far away and there were plenty of gift shops and places to eat within walking distance. And that’s why we’ll be back!

The front desk staff were very helpful with the knowledge of activities, the location was excellent, we were able to walk into town for eateries, casinos, and the private beach (which was breathtaking). We had the junior suite which was perfect for 2 couples. Down side was there was only 1 bathroom, which we made work. There was a small refrigerator. The housekeeping did a wonderful job on cleaning our room daily. Parking was a little tight but we found parking easily. The beds I wanted to take home, they were so comfortable. It gave us the feeling of staying in a cabin. We felt completely safe, i would definitely stay here again.

I dont understand how this place gets good reviews when this hotel smells like an old musty gym. The TV barely works. Wifi is terrible. What I cant dismiss are the noisy neighbors and thin walls. You can literally hear everyone talking and the people above us decided to run around like maniacs at 1 am in the morning waking me up. Id rather book somewhere else than come back. Stayed one night with the family in room 303: a king suite with a pull out couch and fireplace. Kitchenette was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, flatware, etc. which was great. The grocery store is just a short walk away. The beach is also a short walk down the road. Front desk staff wasnt overly friendly, I can see why people may give less stars for that, however, Veronica, one of the housekeepers was wonderful so they still get 5 stars from us. Bathroom had a unique set up, which seems to work well for a family stay. Everything is separate : the toilet is in its own little room, then the sink in its own area, then the shower and large tub are in their own room. Shower is loud, but Im sure the age of the pipes is to blame. Water was hot very quickly and theres great water pressure. Room was clean when we got there. The only thing I was not thrilled about is the fee for early check-in. There is a $25 fee to check in early and the check in time is not until 4 pm. Unfortunately we had to check in early since our daughter threw up on the drive and we needed to get her cleaned up. All in all, they stay was great, room was nice and location was fantastic. Will definitely be our first choice for our next trip.

When we stopped by the office to check in at 3pm we were told that the room was not ready, and that they would call us when they were. We went and grabbed some food and waited for a call. Around 5pm, we went back to the hotel and they said our room had been ready for a while leaving us to wonder why they didnt call us after taking our number. We also were told that the hot tub wasnt working. This was deeply disappointing since we rebooked this hotel because we enjoyed the hot tub so much when we stayed there last year. They said that maintenance was working on it and would try to get it running soon. In the meantime, they said we could go to Ballys and get a day pass for $5. We walked the 15 minutes down to Ballys to find out it was actually $30 per person! We told the blonde woman with glasses about this, and she could not have cared less. We asked if there was anything they could do, and her reaction was purely apathetic. I went to the ice machine to find out it was not working as well. The upside is that the location/prices are good and the beds are relatively comfortable. It was clear that there was no guest focus here and we will not be coming back.

I’ve never had a problem with a bed being too soft, but this mattress was basically a pillow, and not in a good way. It’s unfortunate to write this because the location and rooms are pretty good. I’ve been staying consistently throughout this past ski season and what has become completely unacceptable is the fact that my rooms have often not been ready on time. On my most recent (and final) stay I attempted to check in 1.5 hours after the check in time and the room still wasn’t ready! Third time this has happened to me. They make it seem like you are being unreasonable for wanting to check in to your room at the designated time. They couldn’t say how long it would take as they were “still cleaning multiple rooms”. I was told by the front desk that I could cancel the booking without penalty. I literally listened to her call the manager to get it approved. In her defense, the receptionist that day was completely pleasant and helpful. Of course they didn’t follow through and charged me for the room. When I called to clarify, the receptionist was totally rude and unwilling to help. Will be contesting the charge and will not stay be staying again. I would absolutely not recommend staying here. There many other options close by.

This place is great. We are staying 2 nights here. Its 10 minutes walking to the lake, Lake Tahoe South. The blocks away from restaurants, stores, supermarkets, and the gondola ride to the top of the mountain with amazing views that we will enjoy tomorrow. This resort offers Apple cider and coffee, both free. Coffee is served from 6 to 11 a.m. and the hot apple cider is served 24 hours. There is a billiard table in the reception for one dollar in quarters. There is a jacuzzi in the open area. I didnt enjoy it because I forgot my bathing suit. Big mistake! That was a beautiful thing to do at night at the resort. We are very pleased with the resort hotel and its amenities.

Their accommodations were pretty nice. They had everything we needed for an extended stay. We had a full kitchen, including pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, bowls, etc. They dont perform housekeeper during your stay, so you have to call when you need toilet paper, towels, etc. They have a beautiful pool area with an enormous hot tub. This hotel was a disappointment and not worth the cost. The rooms feel very cheap and run down. The list of things that didn’t function properly is long - the A/C, the mini-fridge, patio door, the bathtub drain was completely backed up. The exterior decks have no separation between rooms so children will be running in front of your room constantly. Beware of this property charging your credit card for pre-existing damage in their rooms!!! We were charged for a broken tile on the left side of the bath tub, and a stripped faucet handle. The faucet handle in the bath tub was already stripped and not working properly when we tried to use the tub. I was almost burned because of the faucet handle malfunctioning. Thank god there were no children in the tub, or they most definitely would have been burned. They also charged us for a broken tile on the left side of the tub. We got in & out of the right side of the tub, and we only used the tub one time during our 2 night stay because we didnt want to risk of being burned by the already broken faucet handle! How could we have broken a tile that was never stepped on by us? The general manager Scott is argumentative, and unprofessional, and overall customer service is severely lacking! Check your credit card statements after you check out!! We were 100% wrongfully charged $358.00 for pre-existing damage that we definitely did not do!! Our short stay was riddled with not only an already broken bath tub faucet, the stove barely worked, the TV worked for maybe a 1/2 hr, and there were only 5 channels available. The outside hot tub was out of order. Our key cards kept getting demagnetized after every use. And now this fraudulent charge for damage that was already there!! We will not be staying there again. The ladies working the front desk were very nice, the beds were comfortable, but sadly thats all I can say was good about 3 Peaks.

Stayed here over a weekend. I’m looking at the other pictures on google reviews and the rooms vary in quality. We got a two bedroom unit. The layout was so strange- one bathroom and three sinks? When we arrived the carpet was dirty, bathroom had mold and mildew, shower had only two temperatures- lava and glacier, both of the sliding doors were unlocked and open, the coffee provided was awful, and there were stains on the furniture. There was hair caked in the moldy caulking behind the sink faucets. It was gross. If it was cheaper, I’d be more ok with it. There are so many other places to stay in SLT that are less expensive and actually clean. The only reason I give it two stars is because the bed was comfortable.

Cozy and comfortable. Convenient location to Heavenly resort and downtown. Most importantly, it is one of the very few hotels allowing pets. Although largely dogs, cats are also welcomed here. Parking lot isnt spacious, but has enough spaces for all staying guests.The one-queen bed room I stayed was well facilitated. Fully functionally kitchen and fridge, with a dining table. TV had cable channels. The bathroom had a full size bathtub to enjoy a nice bath. Nothing fancy, but also nothing broken or dirty. In my opinion, it would take significant more effort to keep rooms clean for a place accepting dogs.Walking distance to lakeside and Heavenly. Had a great fun walking my cat along the quiet neighborhood full of beautiful, white snow a few years back -- though she gave up walking after about 300 ft. Walking to Heavenly plaza is roughly a 5-10 minutes walk in snowboard boots, on a slightly uphill straight road.Pricing-wise, it is roughly about the same compared with other similarly quality hotels/Inns nearby. Requires booking deposit. Unless you/your pets make a big mess, they only charged a little extra for each pet per night.Overall, my two-time stays here were both enjoyable and comfortable, and so were my cat.

I never once felt out-of-place or unwelcomed. There were a few things that stood out for me personally.... the panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains, the warmth & ambiance of the crackling fireplace & the peaceful privacy of the patio that connects to the bedroom via sliding glass doors.... at such a reasonable price, I was able to extend my stay. There was only one thing I was disappointed about during my stay here.... and that was having to eventually go back home.

*Beware!* After a very long road trip we arrived at this “pet friendly” lodging. Upon check-in we were informed they have a policy where you can’t leave your animal unattended… in your own room. We were told if they received a complaint about barking from anyone they would charge us an additional $300!! This information was not listed on their site and caused us additional anxiety when we left to explore. I don’t recommend this place, the room was poorly lit, our shower barely worked. If we could have found a way out without losing all the money we paid, we would have moved elsewhere on day one. Don’t trust this place.

Dog got colitis and had to go to emergency but it was closed for the night when we got in and she had an accident. It was minimal. They were a bit unorganized based on what the few people ahead of me in line were saying to the clerk but we got our room no problem. We had to move the furniture around in the room to allow the pullout sofa-bed to sit flat AND not block the door. Been staying here for more than a decade! Manager Gary makes the place feel like home. Christina and the reception/office crew are fun to chat with and super helpful. Rooms are all cozy and clean. Each room type has its pros/cons... Close to pool is amazing, but more noise from neighbors. Full one bedroom suites are very spacious, big tub, private balcony, but trek through snow to get to hot tub... You pick what suites your style. Best hot tub and pool in Tahoe, hands down! Super close to private beach resort, included in your stay. Walking to casinos, but far away (3 blocks?) from the hustle and bustle of Heavenly. Book it!

Price is definitely right. This was my first stay and for some reason they said that they were going to upgrade my room. Of course Im not one to argue with that. The room I got was okay if not a bit dated. The bed was plush and comfortable. Probably my main criticism was the lighting. Turn on one switch and the room is dimly lit. Throw on a second switch and youre blasted by glaring light. There was no in between. Amazingly cheap price for a luxurious room including a microwave, dishwasher, eating utensils, a fridge, a bathtub, shower, stove, and a bunch of either goodness for only $80 dollars a night! They even have pools and other fun things. Also the best service ever! We had to hurry to go skiing, and left out plates in the sink, when we got back they were cleaned and sorted. They have one of the lowest hotel rates, if not the cheapest, in South Lake Tahoe. It is a small property with a very cute lobby. There’s only one counter at the lobby, so you’re gonna need to wait if there are other customers. The front desk staff is really friendly too.We got free upgrade from 2 double bed to a suite which is great! There are 2 rooms (1 bed each) and a kitchen in the suite.We were here during the winter.The AC in the rooms can only blow cool air and there’s only one heater outlet near the entrance. She came to the door as we were gathering our things and leaving and said “You guys are still in the room and I’m going to have to charge you another night and you need to hurry up and get out.” I was appalled to say the very least at the way she handled the whole situation. I told her we tried calling and saying we would be a little late of checkout and she said “Oh our phones are down and the power went out but you could have walked over and told me.” It felt like there was no accountability on her part and the way she came at me and my fiancé on a very special weekend is why I had to take time to write this review. When I asked her how much is the cost she said $100 which was the equivalent of one night and said if you want to stay you still need to book another night. Keep in mind this was around 12 oclock 1 hour after checkout time). Unprofessional, inconsiderate, distasteful, nonchalant, and about a million other words would describe Maria. I am appalled that this lady works in the “Hospitality” industry. I truly believe in how you treat people lasts forever. Was initially impressed by the room but impression quickly began to change when I couldnt check in at 3pm (their stated check in time). Then couldnt get a decent wifi connection and front desk was unhelpful. Front desk said they would check and get back to me, never got back to me. I ended up using my phone as a wifi Hotspot so ultimately I solved the problem using my own data from my phone plan, so no free wifi for me. Then on day 2 we came back to the room in the late afternoon and quickly noticed a dog barking, howling, whining in the room next door - NONSTOP. After about 45 minutes I called the front desk and after an hour they managed to reach the owners that had left the dog alone in their room and about an hour later the owners returned and the problem seemed to be solved. They offered me a different room ONLY after I said I would be wanting to move rooms if this wasnt resolved.I have stayed in Lake Tahoe MANY times, thought Id try 3Peaks because looked nice and good rate (although no microwave in room). My main complaint is the front desk always had a dismissive attitude AND tone. Ill go back to my regular lodging in Tahoe where Ive never had an issue. This is the first time in years that Ive needed to call the front desk for anything. 3Peaks -- called front desk daily, always dealt with in a very unprofessional manor.

Check in was like pulling teeth, after driving 15 hours the way we were treated really soured our whole experience. Room was dated and damaged with tacky decor, but beds were comfortable, duvet was filthy so we brought in our own blanket. No towels by pool and when we asked the front desk associate they said they would bring some out which they never did. “Beach Club” is misleading, you get a pass to the public beach but by no means is this motel a resort or beach club.... plenty of other hotels in the area and I would not stay here again.

The place is OK. The room was good -- bed, furniture, shower, TV were good. The staff were a mix. Some were helpful, while some (especially one) were clueless, unconcerned, and even misleading. The worst thing was that they rented out rooms and then were getting those (outside) painted and hence taped. The reception staff seemed unconcerned -- remove the tapes and go in. One night lights along the whole wing didnt work, so we were trying to get in and out with cellphone flashlights. They didnt have any Do not disturb signs. We had to go and tell them not to make our room. The reception staff said they will tell the service crew (didnt make any notes), but guess what -- they didnt tell. We were forced to reserve a room with a block for a soccer tournament being held in Lake Tahoe. Said tournament was cancelled the monday before the tournament due to the wildfire within 25 miles of the basin. We had no choice in where we stayed and no choice or say in the cancellation of the tournament. The hotel refused to refund the 50% deposit due to not cancelling within the cancellation policy window of 2 weeks prior. Even after explaining the situation with the tournament and its cancellation and health concerns for the childrens well being they refused to refund me my deposit. I understand business is tight and policies are policies but denying us after being forced to book with them and not having a choice in whether the tournament would be played or not ie someone elses decision out of my control I would expect better. This is a money grab and in an economic time like this bad business! I will never book here again and I would recomend staying as far away from this company as possible as the ownership has been very rude and not very understanding.

We rented the cabin into town houses for a family reunion. The town houses were OK but the cabin was a dump. Carpet so old and gross you didn’t want to walk on it barefoot. The furniture was disgusting and dirty. The cabin was in need of repairs with open electrical boxes. They were doing construction below us in the cabin and didn’t let us know they’d be doing that. We had kids trying to take naps that couldn’t because of the noise. There was construction material left out like nails and stuff in the yard that the kids got a hold of. The staff was not at all helpful trying to make our reservations. They told us the cabin was tucked away from the hotel and private. Actually the cabin is in the middle of the parking area for the hotel. I called to talk to the manager about the issues we had with not being told about the construction going on when we were going to be there. She didn’t seem to care. I told her about the construction debris left outside. She didn’t seem to care about that either. If you’re looking for a nice cabin for your family and friends find somewhere else.

Cooperative staff and friendly service. The rooms are clean. Walking distance from cafes and restaurants.The highlight was the jacuzzi in the room (theres one in the common area near the pool for guests use as well).I give this great place 4 stars, only for one tiny drawback: then roof and walls. People walking on the floor above you is audible, and sometimes quite disturbing.But other than that, its a great place!And, extremely dog friendly!

Great little place. Nice sized room with full kitchen to include dishes. Had a fireplace you can get firewood from the front desk. Nice hot tub. Had pool but it was closed because its seasonal and its still to cold for a pool. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay again if Im back in the area.

This place is well located and the staff is awesome. Good value for the dollar, but the kitchen and paper goods are on the cheap side. That said having a full kitchen is a big plus with a full size refrigerator. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was large very dated with several things not working. There was trash left, the micro was very dirty. We needed sheets and blankets for the pullout, called no answer then had to walk to the office find someone to get only a pillow and one sheet since thats all they had. (NOT ACCEPTABLE) The value for what we paid was not worth it at all. A motel 6 would have been better. I think they do have sheets on all their beds??Upon check in at 4 our room was not ready until 6!No Parking!Maybe we came at an off time.

Over-all we enjoyed our stay, but the 1st King Suite they put us in was Horrible! It was outdated and the a/c was broken in both rooms. Seemed dingy. We were disappointed, since we paid over $600 for 2 nights! They finally moved us to another room and it was MUCH better. It was actually super cute and like a little apartment with a kitchen and huge bathroom. Love that it is dog friendly!I will say this place need ALOT OF WORK! Just a few things are the pool and spa area. They desperately need to be resurfaced and my kids were picking up pool tiles that were falling off the sides! The back slider lock was broken. The back deck was totally peeling paint everywhere. Chair was broken, ceiling fan in kitchen rattled bad. Water spewed out of kitchen faucet like mad. Just alot of stuff like that. It was interesting how EVERY hotel in the area said No Vacancy, since it was the celebrity Golf Tournament weekend, but this one always had Vacancy.Also Josh at the front desk spoke more like a stoned surfer both times I spoke with him. He acted like he could care less about me or my requests. Poor customer service for sure. Seems like maybe the company neglects its employees like it does its rooms and they arent happy to be working here. Its a shame, because at one point, this place was probably top notch and location is great with a private beach in walking distance! Now it seems like theyre losing the battle of keeping up with what used to be.

My family and I (mother, brother, sister, brother-in-law, and niece) stayed here for a few days during the summer of 2011 or 2012. Our room was quite nice, though a bit small. My sisters family complained about the bed frames being broken which caused it to be hard to sleep.We never used the pool, but enjoyed the pool table in the lobby. We loved how close the motel was to the Heavenly shopping center as well as Stateline, NV where the casinos were. Quite a value considering the price.

The first thing we noticed is that the faucets for the bath tub were extremely loose and it was very difficult to stop the water flow. It took about 30 minutes to get the tub stopped. The drawers for the furniture would fall open when any weight was inside. Our pillow had a brown stain on it, unsure what that was. We also ended up finding a bug in our bed.

A fun place to stay, walking distance to the village and gondola. The hot tub was amazing with plenty of space, made some new friends in our after ski soak. The room was nice with a fireplace and everything we needed. The only down side is thin walls; we could clearly hear our upstairs neighbors walking around and side neighbors TV.

My husband and I come to Tahoe quite often and this was our first time staying at this resort and all I have to say is WOW!! This place is absolutely beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond for their guests. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The rooms are so welcoming and cozy. The bed is like sleeping on a marshmellow. I will never stay anywhere else now that Ive stayed here.

We used to LOVE this place. 2 times ago it start going a little down hill. Pool was under construction and no one told us.And the ac units didnt work but there was awesome customer service so it is what it is type of thing.... this last time we went it was just plan not good. There was what looked like dog kibble on the floor in the bed room noticed it within a minute so not sure how it was missed, cob webs with nats in the bathroom and the worst was the customer service. The front desk ladies were just not friendly and gave attitude when asked questions. Please keep in mind Ive stayed here Id say 8 times? I was told it was new management. I wouldnt say it was for the better.

First of all of all they had a very talented photographer that makes the room look much larger than it is, it not as new and updated either. If you are in a downstairs room you can hear every step the people above you make. We had a family with out of control kids and a drum. They walked around more in that room then we did all day hiking. When you book through a discount site they always give you the least desirable room like ours under the stairs. I am so glad we did not book more than one night here. Parking is limited and the place is so noisy. Ws were so excited based on the photos and reviews, What a disappointment.

Cheaply priced motel with an excellent location. Very close to the main shopping and food locations in South Lake Tahoe. Seems like a better place to stay when it isn’t snowing like crazy. As for the room itself, it was pretty small with not many amenities. Nice and large tv the was bogged down by the cheapest tv service available. Would have been nice to be able to at least stream from my phone to the tv. Internet was pretty slow. Bathroom was very small but had a nice shower head with good pressure. Unfortunately it seems like they are trying to nickel and dime you for everything. Room didn’t even come with a microwave but you had the option of renting one for an additional $10 per night. If you are gonna stay there id wait for a bit nicer weather so you can enjoy the few things that they have to do there.

I have to say its 3 stars because the first few nights we stayed in 508 and its top floor with a wood fireplace and a good clean room. We ended up staying an extra nite and stayed in 307. Horrible! U can hear every flush of upstairs toilets and showers. I mean loud! In the bedroom the next doors tv was on our bedroom wall next to our head board. Every word of their tv was right in our eats at 11:30 at night and they had people working on paint on our patio in late am. Took the chairs from our patio too! Management should not be charging full price for a room if work is being done. Poor management for sure. Also its been a week and no return of our deposit on the rooms. We leave things cleaner than when we show up so I can only guess theyre slow on returns. I dont think Ill be going back..

We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. The desk clerk was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful and made absolutely sure we were comfortable. It was still snowy outside but the roads were clear. The location is convenient and parking was free and plentiful (depending on when you go). It was gorgeous! There was a full kitchenette, large soaking tub and separate shower, comfy king sized bed with a tv in the bedroom and abive the fireplace in the living room and a comfy pull out couch as well.

The room itself was nice. 10 min walk to the beach. Good location. The downside is that the air-conditioner didnt work properly so we couldnt sleep because it was too hot. In addition to that people above us couldnt stop walking so their stumps and squeaky floor kept us awake as well. I cannot recomment that place because sleep is the most important thing for me when I am travelling.

I dont recommend you stay here. It looks really nice but its nasty. There was mold in the bathroom. There was urine on the bathroom seat, they did not clean. The carpet smells discussting later I was smelling throw up in one of the corners. My husband got bit by bed bugs. The only upside of staying here is that they are dog friendly and that its located near heavenly and the casinos are walking distance.

Great hotel, excellent serviceI was there just for a night with my husband, my niece and my two toy Poddle. In that time the surprise with excellence in hospitality.First they gave a great welcome with an upgrade. We pay for a standard room with two queen beds and they gave us a two bedrooms, two bathrooms suite with 3 flat TVs, a full equipped kitchen, living room and two refrigerators. The beds were really comfortables.When we left, I forgot 3 expensive clothes item in the closet. The staff found it and helped me to get them back. A jacket alone is more than $200.I really appreciate the excellency in hospitality and the great suite they gave us.I recommend this hotel to anyone that visits Lake Tahoe!!!

LIFE THREATENING CONDITIONS. We arrived at night after long snowy drive. The reception was closed so we called in to check in (remote- guy knew nothing about the hotel- never set his foot there).First: the room was not what we booked: instead of double beds we got one bed and a terrible sofa. Second: THERE WAS NO HEAT IN THE ROOM!!!! We had only a small space heater for two rooms. It was freezing we couldnt sleep. I was afraid for my family. We had no power to look for another hotel in a snow storm +plus everything was booked up. Next day I complained and they said that they will fix the heat. When I got back from skiing in the afternoon -there was still no heat. We were freezing again. We got really mad and the reception didnt help. We had to truck down the service guy on the road between houses and force him to help us. He said that there are no heaters on the property but he gave us his own from his office. He got additional gas stove going so we finally got heat the last night.It ruined my whole trip and I cried from cold the first night. Please dont go in winter. It is dangerous. When there is a snow storm and freezing temp. you dont want to be without heat. LIFE THREATENING CONDITIONS.

Stayed here over the weekend. I got the king bedroom which was very nice and updated. Really close to restaurants, shopping and the gondola. My brother also stayed here in one of the suites. His suite however was not updated and had a fireplace that did not work. Luckily his cooling/heating unit was working to warm up the suite. Overall great experience. Hopefully the suites will be updated the next time we visit.

Our room did not have a working AC/heater unit. I told the front desk and they promised that it would promptly be fixed. No one came to fix it. I asked again, they told me the same thing and once again no one came. There was also no housekeeping/maid visit for our room either. Maybe they just dont have them??It is a centrally located property and actually quite nice, but not having working AC made the room unbearable. I barely slept the first night.

Great location and affordable price. Everything is basic and is a bit dated. Otherwise, its clean and close to everything. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We arrived earlier than check in time. I approached the front desk and the staff happily allowed us to check in since the room is available.
