There’s been some improvements, while repairs are being made on some machines, other machines are broken down. This location gets really crowded, I tend to go later in the day, end of the day visits. We need the staff to be cleaning and sprayed down equipment every so often. Other guest does seem to respect the equipment and doesn’t even clean up after themselves.

Not perfect but no public gym is. If the place had the stairmaster working Id score it higher. Real good gym. Great staff. My only criticism is not filling the towels fast enough and broken down stairmasters being routine. But overall, decent.Idea: Maybe kick out people for the day that put gym bags on the floor. Would fix the prob real quick for those policy breakers 👌🏽 Warn people before you roll out enforcement lol

At one point, this gym was excellent, and the restrooms were nice and clean. Now its not like that, some machines are out of service and restrooms are filthy. How can you justify a $35.99 price?. I would recommend LA Fitness or another 24hr gym. If you dont care about the price and just want to get a workout in, then I guess it would make sense, but I think if you are paying $20 and above, at least keep the place clean. No lie, head over to planet fitness in Alhambra, and the restrooms and gym are clean.

Machines been broken for months. They still havent taken action on repairing them. Makes waiting for them very painful. Bathrooms are gross. Toilets dont flush Over flowed. Its disgustingThey replied back theyre improving and maintaining yet 5 staircases have been out of order for months. The water fountains been broken for months. The cable machines are always unusable. Owner doesnt care. 24 hour fitness doesnt care. They just want to claim we will do better. People are starting to notice. I encourage anyone who goes here to start leaving a review so people can start avoiding this gym till they decide to actually maintain it as a gym should. Or maybe start sending pictures to the 24 hour corporate letting them know how this gym is being treated. Its unacceptable to charge the prices and not uphold your end on maintaining

Easily the worst gym I’ve ever been to and that says a lot. Most of the cardio doesn’t work or is under maintenance. There are a total of 2 stair masters working. Free weight section is decent. However, the gym is filthy. Plenty of other 24 hours in the area, stay away from this one

I had a 5 mo hiatus from the gym and I hoped that the physical environment would have improved. The adjusting lever on the inner thigh machine is broken and the armrest covers on the bicep curl and tricep machines are torn! The ladies restroom faucets in the wash basins need work and the hand drier closest to the wash basins does not work. If it wasnt for my trainer, Sergio Islas, I would look for another gym to workout. Customers pay a monthly fee to use the gym and expect ALL equipment to work and restroom facilities to ALWAYS BE CLEAN and in tip top shape!! Lets get on the ball!!!

This location is stuck in time. Old equipment, literal black mold in the men’s bathrooms. - not sure about women’s side but based on the condition I would not doubt it’s the same. Urinals overflowing and urine on the floor. Not sure why this is even remotely acceptable. Having gone to multiple gyms it’s pretty disgusting. How is something like a Planet Fitness cleaner than this gym. Would definitely not recommend. Please do better. Came against my better judgement after reading all the reviews on this place. And let me say they are correct, this place is not it.

I wanted to like this gym being a new member. Unfortunately at this facility I’ve seen 2 giant size roaches in the pool area. Equipment is falling apart.cleanliness is not there. No security on the premises in the event it is needed for late night. Overall staff is great unfortunately who ever is in charge of running this place is not investing into the gym which is very unfortunate and raises many red flags on how they value there customers.

Worst gym in the chain Ive ever been to. Apparently, its been over 5 months, and nothing has been done about broken machines based on a review I read. So 5 months later, the water fountain is still broken, half the machines still dont work, and there are not enough accessories for the cable machines. 3 lateral pull-down machines and 2 bars. The cable mechanism on the other side of the lateral pull down is stuck in the high position. The other one is stuck in the low position. The locks are broken or missing handles, so you cant adjust them. One of the 6 stairclimbers only works, two of the 4 sinks in the mens is clogged, and weights are scattered all over the place. I had to walk around to find 2 45lb to use as none are on the rack. The mens floor was disgusting as if it had not been cleaned in days. Their are far too many issues to write on here. 1st time there and definitely my last time. I was expecting it to be like the one on orangewood or main place mall as those are the last two Ive been to before this one. I thought LA fitness down the street on Rosemead was disgusting. This one makes that LA fitness look like an Equinox gym.

Definitely the most disgusting gym I have ever been in! It was hot and there was no type of ventilation. Omg the smell! It smells so bad its overwhelming. Body odor all around. I couldnt wait to leave. The machines were so outdated and overused. Most if not all of the machines didnt have the number of pounds so I had to just go by what felt light and heavy. I am never setting foot in the gym as long as I live! Very disappointing. I would give it no stars if I could. Save yourself the time and dont come to this place.

All 24hoursfitness are dirty, but this 24 is the dirtiest. The bathroom always smells like urine, and the shower room always has old dirt and hair. The jacuzzi was full of bubbles and the water in the swimming pool was very dirty. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom today. I wont go here anymore. There is a cockroach in the hole.

Update: there was a bench in the woman’s gym they have removed. The bolts are still in the ground. I have stubbed my toe and tripped over said bolts. I already informed staff because that worries me for others.…Hire maintenance staff. This place needs some TLC. I leaned on a rail in front of the sauna and it tipped back and I realized it was broken at the base. Someone could get hurt here and there are many seniors using the facilities. Some of the women’s showers are busted too. Water was leaking out the bottom last time I used it. Their audio system is also jacked up and it sounds like blown out speakers playing music. Idk if they are getting away with shortcutting renovation/maintenance and cleanliness in order to make a profit.If your method of business is to over enroll memberships from than the facilities has the capacity to hold - where is that income going? Are you even paying your employees a living wage? I signed up for the national yearly plan and that’s $240 up front & $20 a month. People are paying monthly subscriptions of $20-50 multiply that by the # of members for a single gym.I have no complaints about staff. I’ve been treated fairly.

Probably half of the equipment is broken at any given time. Probably 6 cable machines are missing weight stack pins, only 1 out of 6 stair climbing machines works (it’s been this way for months), 2 cable machines are broken and can’t be moved up or down, and much more - I’ve complained multiple times but management never does anything, nothing ever gets fixed. This causes huge delays of people waiting for machines. Not worth going between 3pm and 9pm because equipment will be severely limited. Will not be renewing my membership when it’s up.

Cancelled my membership after being a member at this gym for years. I couldn’t deal with the uncleanliness and lack of upkeep. The locker room stinks. The showers, toilets and hand wash area are grotesque. Machines are down for months at a time. More often than not there are no towels/spray to wipe down the sweaty machines. There’s mold stains throughout the entire gym including the shower area…I could go on and on. I will no longer be paying 34.99 a month to attend such a careless gym

Final verdict: BLACK MOLD INFESTATION for over a year that is only getting worse. I wish I could leave a 1/2 star. Time to cancel and move on.UPDATE: 9/12/23 The showers have black mold everywhere.UPDATE 9/1/23: Black mold is growing inside the showers again. Defective plumbing. Leaks inside and outside the walls.UPDATE 7/15/23: They’re slowly cleaning the mold in the showers and around the locker room floors edgings. Gradually it is improving. They recently updated several shower heads as well. I was close to quitting this gym, thankful I wont have to now. If it continues to improve Ill continue to raise the stars.UPDATE 1/18/23: They finally cleaned the moldy shower, x3 caked on dust clogged ceiling vents & x2 algae walled showers. Really hope they keep it up. If they do I will continue to raise my rating. Much better experience there now.UPDATE 1/4/23: Now black mold is in the showers. (see newly added photos) My lungs feel funny right now which isnt good because Im allergic to mold. It smelled musty in the showers tonight. I just moved to the neighborhood. Two stars only because this gym is barely usable. Ive been a 24hr member for about 10 yrs. This is absolutely the WORST Ive ever been to. Always something broken, locker rooms are unclean and stink, very little machines to work with, always a wait to use something, often people are queuing in lines, no wipes ever, no cleaner fluid ever. I came tonight and three machines I needed were broken and useless. No overhead fans, one AC unit in the furthest back corner shaking the ceiling tiles and dripping everywhere. Floors are uneven so yes, your dumbbells WILL roll away. I think this is my breaking point with 24hr. Ive had it! Done!

Four out of five StairMasters are broken!!! This is a very plain unremarkable 24 hour fitness and Ive been to locations from San Diego to San Jose. Its the first time that Ive ever encountered a place that did such a horrible job of keeping up their equipment.

Been there twice, the staff was friendly, but unfortunately the handicap accessible chair for the swimming pool isn’t working.The first time I went, it worked after the staff help put the battery and kinda pat the chair here and there.But the second time, it wasn’t responding at all. Those chairs needs to be maintained.This is like closest 24 hours fitness to me and it so unfortunate that I can’t go because the chair for swimming pool is not working….

Ive been with 24 Hour Fitness for about almost 10 years now. This location gets far too crowded at almost any time, but part of the problem is that its a small gym. Machines break down at a normal rate, so that seems to have improved, but the locker rooms have a lot of hard water build-up that needs to be cleaned.Staff is always friendly and helpful. Theres just way too many people at this location. I recommend going early in the morning if you can. Even late into the night this place stays jam packed.

The locker rooms have progressively gotten worse. They stink. The showers stink. Theres wads of hair and toilet paper bits and trash all over the floor always. It is NEVER clean and Ive never seen a person come in to clean it. The steam room stinks. Half the showers are broken. What an absolute mess. So bummed. To start off - since I returned to this gym post pandemic (took a 3 year or so pause?) it have been running down hill1. bathroom - always dirty, overfilled with trash either on the toilet seat, the tampon/pad trash, or all over the floor. Explosive poop diarrhea fecal subtances seems to always find its way to the end of the seat on the toilet.2. Shower - always have the same stains. I have actually went and spoke to the manager about this issue not once not twice but probably a few times. He insisted that they are now addressing the problem but time after time I always find the same stains - brown dry and disgusting. At times there would be women’s diaper hanging over the shower head, a whole large clump of hair clogging the exit where water goes, or really weird strange strong vaginal smell coming from the shower making me want to gag?3. The water fountain- only 1 out of the 4 works? 2 on the top floor been broken since I been here. And one on the bottom, it’s pretty gross and I don’t know when was the last time they cleaned it.4. Unkept - hand sanitizer station are often empty, the cleaning bottles to clean equipments are often - empty, the soap in shower are often also, empty. I included a film of how over the summarized one hour span how many people attempt in trying to clean their equipment with the empty bottle and empty hand sanitizer station. The staff are all gathered in the front (I saw probably 4 of them?) nobody rounds or checkes. Trash are often overflown, and AC is often broken (at least once a week if not once every other week?)5. Lack of choices when it comes to personal trainers - there’s only 1 personal trainer here just makes it hard to make appointments or have choices to pick from. 3 years ago when I was here, there were about 4 or so trainers to say the least. It’s the least of their problems but I thought to address it here.6. Professionalism- when my personal trainer left 24 fitness nobody notified me of this change. I had to find out by trying to reach out to my personal trainer and him telling me he had quit. When I called the gym the staff had told me that he did indeed left but they didn’t realize nobody had notified me? I asked for a refund as my month I haven’t used any, in apologize they told me that I was still gifted the rest of the 4 session despite the refund as long as I do it with the remaining PT of this gym. I said fine- only to find out from the PT that it didn’t count? So now they’re going back on what they said too? Honestly I’m not sure where the membership curtesy lies or the respect for individuals here. I’m honestly really disappointed in how they handled everything from management to staff.I been not wanting to leave review here because I been waiting and hoping they’d fix the problem but I have yet to see the fix. It’s currently 09/2023.

Ive never seen a gym so dirty in my life. The Mens restrooms are absolutely filthy inside of the bathroom stalls and the showers. This gym is absolutely packed and overcapacity and you cant walk 1 foot without bumping into somebody. Do Not waste your time going to this gym. Trust me.

DIRTY. Dust and sweat stains all over the equipment and restrooms are no better. There is a review saying the place is clean. Not sure about their definition of clean, but this is not it! This 24HRF is NOT CLEAN AT ALL, and either they have lazy cleaners or none at all. I am inclined to say none. Usually, the cleaning staff are hard-working people. So, yes, the promo rates and past reputation got me to sign up online, but if I had been there in person, I wouldnt have.Regardless of my review and the many others mentioning cleanliness, I doubt anything will be done to clean this place up! Don’t bother to acknowledge my review with an empty “thank you for your feedback” since you dont take action to correct the issues. 24HRF LEADERSHIP is seriously lacking nowadays!

Possibly the best gym I’ve ever been to. Hot tub, swimming pool, and all the possible gym machines available at our fingertips. The gym is surprisingly clean considering how big it is. They also have a in app workout plan which is helping my gym journey so much it is a bit crowded but I kind of expected that considering that it’s in a shopping mall but this is an awesome location 100% worth my money 24 hour fitness 4 life

Staff is cool and friendly especially Greg, Cardio equipment usually always free, the free weights section is decent and their cable pulley equipment is good also, Sauna is always on point only thing would be nice to post a sign for some sauna etiquette you want to hear music wear headphones no one wants to hear your bunk gym mix of weak Rap and Banda it’s always my gente too. Careful with what you place in your locker. The dogs are on the prowl here. Almost broke my lock. Should have tried the smaller lock to the locker next to mine. Finks... Manager at the time was allegedly cleaning the restrooms in the mens locker at the time of incident. Did not find that out until the staff went looking for him and low and behold, I already spoke to the guy who did not mention his title. A man with his dog with long hair just happened to know the manager by name whom was right beside my locker when I mentioned the incident, and was acting weird by my locker whom was mind you. What manager doesnt tell his staff crew to clean toilets? Just saying... ;- ) Oh, the perp was tall too, considering the cuts were straight and not at any sort of angle.Paid for a full year here... Probably one of the worst gyms Ive been in. Very little equipment, its always going to be crowded cause its a small gym, which also means nothing will be open half the time. I even went at a time where they said theyre wouldnt be a lot of people. I did get a military discount which most other gyms dont give so that was a plus but still doesnt make up for the lack of quality of the gym.

What’s with all the kids suddenly showed up and crowding everything? It wasn’t the case before. Now that if you walk in around 4:30pm, you’ll see groups of kids (from 3-5 kids per group) hogging the bench for hours. Not only that, they are also running around near other people when they are working out. This is dangerous not only for them, but for other people as well. Accidents could happen at any time. The employees and managers should check these kids’ age to see if they are allowed to be there without guardians or parents. This gym is already small, and the last thing everyone wants is an overcrowded gym where you can’t use any equipment.

Most of the treadmill machines are broken. There are no signs on machines to indicate that they are out of service. Every time I go, the same machines are broken including the stair master and ellipticals. For some reason the ceiling is always leaking somewhere in the gym. No AC but they use dusty and rusted fans to blow air at us. They barely have any dumbbells. The floors and equipment look plain dirty. It’s so tight spaced in there it feels claustrophobic.Edit: Also the all gender restroom is only for employees. Someone who doesn’t feel comfortable in the men or woman restrooms can’t have their own privacy now?

Been coming to this gym since 2011, it’s gone through some great changes. Although, one of the biggest downside is it’s so small and overcrowded. So many kids in the gym in groups of three monopolizing one machine for over an hour. If you don’t like waiting for a machine I highly suggest you go somewhere else.

Summary: Save yourself the trouble and try another location or company all together because there’s much better offered elsewhere in LA. Worn down weights and machines, cleanliness isn’t top priority, musky, and didn’t feel that members were their top priority. Received a 3 day guest pass and completed a 1.5 hr workout on day 1. Wasn’t impressed but wanted to give them another try. Arrived the 2nd day and was told that management would not honor guest passes anymore because they wanted to focus on new members for the new year. I was considering on purchasing the platinum membership so I can go to any location I wanted. After seeing other complaints and my own experience, I wouldn’t consider 24 hour fitness in the future.

This gym is always crowded, everyone leaves their weights everywhere, and they keep it at almost 90 degrees inside, its HOT. UPDATE: Its now even more packed. If you think google live shows not too busy thats compared to the busy level here. Its almost unusable at all hours. Ive tried going morning, noon, afternoon, evening, late at night. Ive been going all the way to Lakewood gym to get a half decent workout.

Not the best environment to work out but it gets the job done. Bathrooms are not clean, equipment is not repaired in a timely manner, and the set up of the gym makes it a bit cramped. However, they have all the equipment and amenities you need in a gym. Gym etiquette is not followed here so make sure to bring a gym towel and stake your claim at the squat rack. The gym regulars are mostly nice once you get to know them but rush hour 5-8pm can be a tough time to get your work in because were all there at the same time(as is true at most gyms). Overall, I think closer attention to detail and more efficient systems could make this a five star place but as is, it is a 3.

Nov 29 I was charged for personal training sessions past the four I signed up and agreed to! I spoke with my personal trainer within two days and he told he notified corporate the previous week that personal training sessions wouldnt be continuing past four. He said he saw I was charged and flagged it to corporate and I should hopefully receive my refund soon. I received no email or communication from corporate within the week so I followed up again with the gym staff. I talked to the person at the front and explained I had been charged $340 for a service I was not using and I had only signed up for a total of 4 sessions. I asked if there is a number I can reach corporate and she said no but that she would send an email. It is now mid December and were 10 days away from Xmas and guess who I still havent heard from about the $340 Ive been robbed. Corporate. Why has it been over two weeks and I have received 0 communication regarding this issue? This gym is not the best but its the only one near by. The cardio equipment is old and only work half the time. The mens restroom smells like urine all the time. Parking is a nightmare. Cell phone reception is extremely poor and this gym doesnt offer WiFi. The water fountain on the lower floor never works. The staff isnt very friendly or helpful. The free weights are very unorganized and are hardly ever re-racked. The only good thing about this gym is that its a slow around noon.

The gym itself is fine i suppose, if you dont mind the most horrible parking ever, or not being able to listen to Pandora because the reception is noon existent, or never want to be able to work out because its over crowded daily with people that are not into sharing benches or equipment. This place is 2 minutes away from my house, i drive 20 minutes to go to another location that allows me to actually enjoy working out. The ladys showers are gross with dead hair and mold-like substances. The middle aged to senior women take forever in the showers like they havent bathed before or without a shower from home.Yes, the classes get full. There are waiting lines with assigned tickets. Bummer. So if planning to take a class here BEWARE. If you planned to worked out before the class you MAY not get a ticket as you have to be in the LONG line to receive one.This location could improve on many accommodations and services to its gym clients starting with constant daily sanitizing & cleaning the locker rooms. Unacceptable! Was there for the first time today. Went upstairs to the cardio equipment and found it so hot up there that I had to leave early. It must have been about 80 degrees. No air or circulation. Just still, damp, hot air. Awful. People looked pretty miserable. I dont know whos managing the facility, but he is clueless to the concept of maintaining a cool, comfortable, well circulated gym. Forget about rush hour. The gym is small-ish and way over capacity at these times. Equipment is standard for 24h and the like. Lacks benches and squat racks (only 1... really?)When the gym isnt overcrowded its actually fairly enjoyable to work out there.Locker rooms are a mess. They said the free pass is ONLY for new members (I was the gyms member about 2 years ago).I went home not happy; and double checked the companys website in regarding to the restrictions on the free pass. Theres plenty of parking unless you plan to go to the gym around rush hour (6-8pm). The gym is located north side of the plaza.Once you make it inside the gym, most of the workers will greet you. The womens lockeroom is located ahead of the entrance and the male lockeroom is located to the right side going towards the circuit machines. The womens lockeroom is kind of gross because the floors are always wet, the lockers are dirty or broken including the benches, the toilets are dirty, clogged or unflushed (why cant people just flush the toilet!!). The sink area is always dirty from those drying their hair, feet, body hands etc.... I see workers clean when I get there and when I leave...?? So... I think if people want nice things they need to take care of it too... People are disgusting...The machines definitely need an upgrade! Ive been on machines that broke/stopped as I was working out. Thats a big liability issue! Some of the stair machines are off tract so while youre on it you can feel it slip. The elliptical machines have some part of it that is damaged, broken, or something...The circuit machines downstairs are okay, but I think they need more variety. Some of the weights from the machines are off too like one of the lat machines.Ive taken a few paid training classes with two different master trainers there. JJ is the one of the reasons why I like going to the gym... Hes very informative and professional. I highly recommend his classes.I really think this gym needs to upgrade and provide a variety of new machines.

Based on my first and possibly last visit to this 24 Hour Fitness.The 10:30am class was full and I got kicked out in front of the entire class when I walked in since I didnt have a number card. It was quite embarrassing; never thought I would feel embarrassed at the gym, so make sure to ask the front desk if you need a number or not. Instructor Susan will call you out in front of everybody, so heads up to avoid the embarrassment. I never thought they would fuss over a person coming in without a number, but I guess it happens frequently enough where they are already annoyed. How am I suppose to know, right???The girls in the front were super sweet when I asked them for some advice for possible, yet unlikely future visits.They stated the max capacity is 42 in the classroom and they tend to fill up 30mins prior to the class. Plus, the numbers are handed out 1hour prior to the class till it fills up.I dont blame the workers or instructors for my negative experience. I blame the structure. Its suppose to be a SPORT level, yet the classroom only fits 42 people, seriously?! I have seen ACTIVE level with a bigger classroom. Perhaps if the cycling classes has their own room, the classroom can increase their size (the cycling machines is left in the classroom when other classes are going on).As a member, I wouldnt want to worry about getting into a class or not. Ive been a member for over 7 years and I have been seeing this same pattern for the last year. Its quite unfortunate!Other than the classroom, the facility is new with cardio machine on the second floor and the weights on the first. Pool facility is also available here. Did it impress me? I have been a member of 24 for about 5 years. I started coming to the Monterey Park b/c it closer to mine and my gfs home.. Compared to the others I have been to this location is the least kept.. The machines are in bad shape and facilities are not the cleanest, also the place kinda smells. Also the cell reception is non-existent so it is difficult to listen to music if you are streaming (which Im sure most people stream) I am sure it has to do with the buildings construction and since 24 he knows this, maybe they could put a wifi system for their guests.

Signed up for a guest pass online as I wanted to check out the facility. Upon my arrival I was told by team member Taylor Warren that the 3 day guest pass sent to me by the club was invalid until a person from the sales team activated the pass. The experience on treadmill is especially horrible as they are located on the second floor, the roof is so low you feel you are running in a attic. Its nudged in a canyon of shops and apts and it feels exclusive. The set up is way nicer than most other facilities in the area honestly. I love coming to the TKB, ZUMBA and Hot Hula classes! Although this club is relatively new it was poorly designed. To further compound this issue the group-X classes at this club are so limited that they often only have Zumba classes and nothing else additionally the classes start no earlier than 8:30 not so convenient if you work.

Small footprint for a Sports level club. Limited weight benches. Low ceiling on second level makes space feel claustrophobic. And the locker room/restrooms are filthy too.

While this is my go to gym, it really is just okay. I like the staff, they are friendly, but quite a few of the machines are broken, and Ive had to leave a couple times because it got too darn hot in there! Also... some of the patrons are a little weird... haha

Having coming to this gym for the last four years roughly when he just open its nice not that bad most of the time the weights are unorganized but you cant really blame the staff about that people just dont care the thing Ive been noticing most recently the glass near where the squat machine is that either has been broken or fell off and they havent replaced it for a good while also be worn if you go in the sauna most of the elderly Asians Will stare you down what I like doing I stare back at them and then it look down=p also go from here between hours of 7pm-930pm is ridiculous how full this gym to get in those hours one more thing theres three lower level parking most likely it Will be difficult to find parking on L1 just go to all the other levels youll save time
