2024-02-24 22:58:42Great location, and the service team maintains the grounds and buildings very well. The new service team has been great - quick and efficient with maintenance requests. We had an issue with no hot water in the kitchen sink and it was serviced the same day we submitted the ticket and fixed.

2024-04-16 22:51:19Maintenance Review: (4th floor apt) The previous maintenance team friendly, but extremely slow to address, review and resolve service tickets/issues. The new maintenance team thus far has been a different experience, theyre focused, easy to talk to and they move with urgency when resolving issues. We had a small crack in bathroom sink which turned into a much bigger crack due to how long it took them to address the problem, the previous team told us it would be a headache to change, take months to find parts and schedule a removal/install.After bringing the issue to new PM, the new maintenance team did it in less than a week. Im sure if the part came sooner it would have been

2024-01-21 17:28:18Not worth the price by far.Pro: Newer, well maintained units with cordial staff present. Convenient if you need Caltrain but have no hearing.Con: Im not a light sleeper but after 8 months, sound deadening window covers, earplugs and white noise machine its unbearable; I cannot sleep through the night. On weekdays trains can pass every few minutes, blowing the horn 4-7 times coming and going from 5am to 2am. Be warned you sign away any legal recourse for this when leasing.Ive had mail stolen and been verbally accosted by homeless individual. The gym consistently has an overpowering body odor, and there have been attempted garage break ins that were remedies by screwing in a metal plate over the damaged door where anyone with a screwdriver could remove. Many of the other units in this building are short term rental/corporate housing.

2023-08-05 05:21:38Living in this apartment has been an absolute delight! The location is perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and parks. I love the sense of community here, thanks to the fantastic events organized by the leasing office. From movie nights to ice-cream socials, they really know how to bring everyone together. The leasing office staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to assist and make you feel at home. They go above and beyond to ensure residents have a positive living experience. And speaking of maintenance, its lightning fast! Any issues Ive had were swiftly addressed, leaving me impressed with their efficiency. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a wonderful place to call home!

2024-02-13 19:07:45Management: 5/5, super professional and friendlyLocation & Amenities: 5/5, close to everything: downtown, work places, highway entrances. Pool, hot tub, roof, common spaces are all really wonderful. Green room for disposing of trash is a big improvement over having to pull out your own trash cans or interact with a stinky outdoor dumpster.Noise: 2/5, train is very loud and frequent including at night. Also, bottom floor sounds from upstairs tenants walking is quite loud. It doesnt really bother us adults, but our infant had to adjust to get used to it and still gets startled awake sometimes by noise. Our neighbors are super respectful and Im sure theyve heard our child crying too -- its mainly the ambient noises. Just be warned if you have a young kid, you might have to go through an adjustment period before they tolerate the noise.Other: the electronic keypad is quite finicky in the elevator. Ive taken several elevator trips up and down because I couldnt get it to scan in time. The garage spaces are quite small and would be hard if we had bigger vehicles (we have a Smart car and a compact SUV). There have been a number of break-ins to the basement storage area. ATT provides gigabit fiber service to this location and its a big improvement over Comcast. Moving in/out can be a bit tricky because theres very very limited street parking and the doors / elevator swiping doesnt make it easier.Overall this place is such a big improvement over our old apartment (yay in-unit laundry) that I cant dock it more than one star for the little things.Edit 2/13/24 - Bryan was really helpful fixing our window blinds!

2023-10-04 03:36:14It looks great, but there’s zero sound isolation. The trains are honking all night and you can hear it like it’s happening right next to your ear. I could only sleep for ~4 hours because the trains go on honking even after midnight and starting up around 5 am.

2024-02-06 03:20:49Unprofessional, Rude Customer Service:I have lived at 100 Moffett for the past three years. If customer service is something you value, I would recommend considering elsewhere. The office closes at 6pm. We were notified at 1:37pm via email that the elevator had broken, this happens nearly every month. I noticed that the doors to the elevator, which are normally closed when the elevator is under maintenance were open. Wondering if the elevators had been fixed and if perhaps the office had forgotten to send out an email, I decided to stop by the leasing office and ask. The lights in the all glass office were dimmed, however, I noticed an employee by the name of Shane closing up. I figured with a few minutes before closing (5:58pm), I could ask this brief question. I knocked on the door, Shane proceeded to look directly at me and look back at his computer. I noticed he was speaking to another person in the office, so I decided to wait. Five minutes later, I knocked again. He came over to the door, I asked him the question about the elevator to which he responded. “If the elevators had been fixed we would have sent out an email.” I stated that before when the elevators had been broken all the elevator doors were shut notifying us the elevator was under repair so no one accidentally gets stuck. He stated that he had not had a chance to close the doors. Mind you, it had been nearly five hours since he informed us the elevator was broken. Before leaving, I asked why he had looked directly at me and chosen to ignore me instead of answering the door. He stated that the office was closed but then since he noticed that after five minutes, I “WASN’T GOING AWAY” that he would answer the door. Comical! Absolutely, no excuse for this. I pay upwards of $4,500 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment, and this is the quality of service I receive. I completely understand that it was two minutes until closing time, however, I had a brief, 30 second question. I simply would have thought that a kind employee could have answered the door stated that they were closing and asked if it was a quick question, or issue that could wait until opening tomorrow. There are other instances to reference in terms of poor customer service, however, this instance deserved to be highlighted. When I initially moved in service was better, I had a kind leasing representative named Kimberley, who no longer works here and I left a positive review reflecting my appreciation for the service, however, something has clearly changed for the worse with this apartment building and the recent 1/5 reviews reflect that. Instead of receiving a comment to this review to “reach out to us directly” at 100 Moffett it would be nice if this building had an employee who could just simply apologize for the customer service I received, or rather lack thereof.

2023-03-14 18:43:41STAY AWAY!!!We lived here for a year and I can say the experience is definitely not worth $5000 rent.(1) Extremely loud noice coming from the trains. If you wanna live here, get used to wear ear plugs.(2) Elevator in building B broke down so many times (maybe on average once a week). I got really unlucky that it stopped working on my move-out day for several hours.(3) Thin floors. We got lucky that our neighbors above us were easy to communicate, but seriously the floor was so thin that you could hear everything.(4) They will try to charge you some fees when moving out. My roommate and I were barely at home and we cleaned the unit at least every week. We got charged for partial wall paint in the pre-move out inspection for something that reasonable people would consider normal tear and wear. I saw other reviews mentioned the same behavior. I had a total 3 hour argument with the leasing office and eventually got it off from our bill. For people who experience similar bad faith charges, I encourage you to save all the evidence and fight for your own rights. There’s small claim court you can go to. A few hundreds dollars might seem a small amount of money, but it’s about principles. The reason they have the audacity to do this to their tenants is because no one bothered to fight with them. Don’t let them continue.

2022-09-03 02:30:30Stay away! The apartment building is NOT safe. The storage lockers have been broken into and emptied out; bikes have been stolen. And there was a police standoff in the community service agency across the street. In some of these cases, management didn’t notify the residents or even address the issue. In addition, the property managers will charge you for every tiny scuff mark in your apartment upon move out. My apartment was in terrific condition upon move-out, but they still charged me nearly $400 on top of my deposit for normal wear and tear, in violation of California law. This is an unsafe building with an incompetent management team. Spend your rent money elsewhere.
