Nice hardware overall. You can definitely tell it was not designed by a hotel designer. Reception not on ground floor, no centralized lighting control in room, front door separate from valet entrance, window has a giant pillar blacking view in the middle, etc. Also won’t recommend for anyone who needs early sleep since it’s pretty noisy with clubbing music/bests.

Overall had a good experience at 1 Hotel, staff was friendly, room was clean and the overall vibe of the hotel was very environmentally friendly so got my green thumbs up. Took a star away because unfortunately our first night we arrived past midnight, tired and just wanted to relax and throw on a movie but the power went out. Another note is that we had to pay for water… didn’t know that each bottle cost $10 so that was an unexpected cost at the end of the trip.

Gorgeous property with gorgeous views.... I was there for a luxury property event. The conference room had a breathtaking city view. The real star is the stunning rooftop pool and lounge area offering breathtaking views of the Hollywood Hills and LA skyline. Sipping cocktails while soaking in that view is hard to beat! The central WeHo location is perfect for exploring. From the impeccable service to the chic vibe, Hotel 1 delivers.

I am an avid traveler that always stays at 1 Hotels when I can. I’ve stayed here in Hollywood many of times it’s always such a pleasure. I love the one hotel because it makes me feel like I’m at home. It’s cozy. It’s comfy and everything is high end. The only thing I will say that I disliked this trip was that my room was directly in front of the elevator area and I heard everyone coming on my floor all night. There’s so many food options that are close and walkable. I really do love the area.

Very nice hotel, the vibe and interior reminds me of Tulum. The staff is super nice. Hotel is located in very walkable area with plenty of shops and restaurants.They have only valet parking on site for $70 per day. If you are looking to park for more orthodox price- try your luck on the public lot right across the street. It was $2 per hour last time I checked it, but spaces are very limited.

I booked 2 rooms online, when I got there around at 2pm they told us if we wanted the same floor I have to deposit 150$ for each room it mean 300$ and come back after 4pm. Then we go ate . When we came back, they said sorry, only different floors. If not, we need to wait for another 30,40-minute . Cant believe 5 start hotels with this bad service

Just checked in and learned that parking is $70 per night. We paid for an upgraded suite and the room had two very small windows looking at a very bright street sign and no real view - The manager moved us the next day to a different suite with larger windows, but view was still of street. Suggest you book rooms on other side of hotel with views of LA skyline.

I have stayed at this 1Hotel location multiple times over the last few years and have booked it three times already in 2024 (returning in June for my bday). First of all, you are not going to find a better designed property. The architectural team really put a lot of effort into this one. There are beautiful natural backdrops everywhere, each with its own character. The very pleasant aroma is so relaxing that I bought it for my diffusers in my home back in NYC. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Id like to specifically shout out Theodore at the front desk and Tasha at 1Kitchen, both so attentive, professional and friendly and even remembered me from previous stays!I cannot stress enough how much of a pleasure it is staying here every single time. I really dont want to even leave the property during my vacations and really looking forward to coming again in June. I just know that I will receive a great room, be able to enjoy all the facilities and food and leave feeling refreshed againPlease pay little attention to any erroneous reviews of this property. This is truly a 5 star hotel and this is coming from someone who travels more than 10 times a year through AmEx fine hotels and resorts line!

Unfortunately, this 1 Hotel is not like the others Ive stayed at. The service feels very much like a 3 star. For reference, my room service tray was left outside for 2 full days before it was picked up, there is no turn-down service, and the room was not fully cleaned prior to our arrival. Because it was not fully cleaned, my husband was cut by glass broken by the previous guests. Good location but I wont be back.

Impressive lobby but it’s essentially a glorified motel.Inside the room (panoramic suite)The shampoo, conditioner, and body gel is super slime like. It leaves a slimey residue on your skin and ends up drying you out after.The towel are not soft at all and the shower pressure is disappointing. Room didn’t feel clean. It was tidy. But it felt like it was rushed.This is a glorified motel and has no business being part of FHR program.They didn’t check me in until 6:30 pm and normal check in time is 4pm. They had overbooked by refused to tell me what the delay was about.If you have strict plans or are flying from out of town this is not a motel (that’s right) that you can rely on.Side note: the valet guy Jack needs to be the property manager. He was the best part about the experience.Would not stay here again and I’d listen to all the other negative reviews.

I really wanted to ti like this hotel but unfortunately it was one of the worst stays I’ve had. I spent $1600 on a suite for one night, hoping to get the luxury experience and service for my birthday. Upon arrival, we were notified our room was not ready. The woman at the desk was extremely rude, and did not want to help us. She took someone who came after us and when the party let her know she skipped us she did not care, rectify the situation, nor apologize for the confusion. She didn’t even look our way not one time. We continued to check in with another woman, who was a little more helpful, she told us the room was not ready. We waited and they eventually called us to let us know the room was ready. When I arrived to the front desk, the same rude front desk lady was the only one available. I waited in line, and she AGAIN took someone threat came after me. The woman told her that I was there first, she huffed as if she had an attitude. She was very rude. She asked me for photo verification that I was the person checking in, but I had already pre checked in and scanned my id on the app, AND I had already gave my ID to the first woman to check in. The first woman that helped me came out and told her that I was who I said I was and that ID check was not necessary. The woman proceeded to tell me that “if ____ knows me I guess you’re good”. This seemed very unprofessional. I wasn’t sure if the double ID check was an actual requirement or if she was being selective. We continued to our room it was as pictured, but the cleanliness was subpar. The canopy on the bed had stains that appeared to be blood and urine or bodily fluids. I didn’t understand how the early check in I requested a week prior to my stay was not honored due to “time to fully clean the suite “ yet the suite was not clean or up to par for the price paid. The rest of the stay was fine. The only other issue I had was a housekeeper letting herself in while I was still in my room before my checkout to restock the mini fridge but we never requested that. It felt like a complete invasion of privacy. Also there were multiple areas of the hotel that smelled extremely musty, the elevators specifically, and some of the furniture in the room ( couches, blankets, etc). Overall, the room layout was very nice, amenities are good, but it is absolutely not worth the price as the cheapest room rates go for $500+ a night. There is a lack of customer service and hospitality that is key in a “5 star luxury hotel”. I think the hotel is far from that, if looking to stay in the location, I wouldn’t waste your money staying at this hotel, especially if you are black, they seem to treat their guests of color like they are not supposed to be there. Also the hotel claims to be “smoke-free”, but there are several people at all times of the day smoking vapes, cigarettes and marijuana in the property. Extremely uninviting and cold energy, guaranteed to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Please stay away from this hotel!

If you have never stayed at a 1 Hotel, it’s definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere is my favorite part - it really feels like you are at a spa. I love that there are live plants in the room. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the gym is entirely too small. When I stayed for work, there wasn’t enough space for everyone working out there. It was also uncomfortable how many people were waiting for treadmills. Definitely something the hotel should improve stat.

Service impeccable. We came back in and noticed they put the citrus away, instantly a wonderful lady brought us out cumquats! We had a lesson on citrus earlier. This place is amazing! Up there with your Ritz’s and Four Seasons. Honestly impeccable. Do NOT hesitate to book your room here. You’ll be sooooo happy!!!😊😊

Was promised a king suite which is what I got….what they don’t tell you is that the room barely has any windows. It’s super dark and very uninviting. The service is atrocious, they really need to hire people that know how to put a smile on their face and talk with respect. The staff looks completely fed up ! The hotel is truly beautiful and really encompasses a “boho” laid back vibe. A good location but only if you’re into the night life. If you want something more laid back, stay In Beverly Hills and not WEHO

1- My LV leather luggage was damaged by the staff. I was devastated when I saw him putting my luggage on the asphalt when loading up our car. The staff should be trained to know that they shouldn’t put the leather luggage on the ground or drag it on the asphalt.2- I have platinum blond hair and I noticed black hair on the wall when I was taking a shower. This shows that the cleaners don’t do deep cleaning and only do surface cleaning..I had the worst experience at this hotel.

Will, our concierge, was the first person to greet us at 1 Hotel after our 14 hour flight from Sydney to LA. He made us feel at home and at ease straight away. EVERY staff member we interacted with (valet, breakfast, house keeping, front desk) were exactly the same as Will, and that is, kind, courteous and willing to do whatever they could over our 4 night stay to make it as relaxing and pleasant as possible. Our connecting rooms, 1001 and 1002, were spectacular. So clean and comfortable and just a great space to relax and look forward to coming home too after our days adventures. We and the kids loved it.The hotel lobby, courtyard gardens, and pool deck were just so nicely arranged, especially with all the Christmas lights and decorations!, it was truly hard to believe we were in the middle of West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd.What an amazing hotel experience.Thank you to all the team at 1 Hotel for making our first leg of our US trip a truly memorable one. ☆☆☆☆☆

Ive stayed at many high end hotels and I was genuinely impressed with 1 hotel west. The ambiance is fantastic - very modern and boho style. This place is all about the little details everything down to the shampoo, hand soap, slippers, were all well thought out and nicer than your typical hotel. They had a basket of fruit available to guests daily which was a nice touch. The location is also ideal since its in the nicer part of town so its safe to walk around. Also, theres a decent selection of fun bars in a walkable radius. Yes, like some have mentioned, the parking fee is on the higher side but this is a true 5 star hotel and not necessarily a place you should stay at if youre trying to nickel and dime, just my opinion.

Overall, it doesnt meet the standards of a five-star hotel, and its not worth the price. It was not a very pleasant experience.Good things: The lobby looks great, the pool has a nice view, the room service is excellent, and the bed is comfortable.Not so good: I was disappointed that they didnt provide the room type and floor I had requested during check-in, claiming it was sold out. The air conditioning was incredibly loud, and on Saturday night, the nearby nightclubs DJ played music until 2 am, making it hard to sleep. I could even hear the upstairs neighbors taking a shower in the bathroom, and the carpet looked dirty.

First room we entered was stained and smelled of dog urine. It is a very dog friendly hotel so be wary of this as the bellman noticed it as well. This hotel if you stay over the weekends is a very young and lively crowd. You will often hear music till 3am and multiple sirens from ambulances or fire trucks. We saw three or four people passed out at different spots of hotel. Go stay at the West Hollywood Edition Hotel suite price at the 1 hotel is similar but not on same caliber by any means.

Design and location were great. But I spent almost an hour before front desk gave me the key to my room, cause they couldn’t find my reservation. On the 3rd day I saw somebody’s black hair in my bed. It wasn’t mine and I lived solo. I told about that to front desk and asked to clean my room. They promised that manager or somebody else will contact me to resolve this issue. But nobody still did. I spent a week at one hotel, which had a fantastic location, wonderful personnel, and a gorgeous interior. I will return if they offer free parking at $65 per night or a special valet pricing for their customers in the future. I had a large room with great lighting and no noise at all.

The setting of the hotel is very nice and inviting, with well-decorated common areas that harmonize with nature. During the day, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service at the lobby and bar is friendly and welcoming. However, our stay was a bit unpleasant, we checked in on Sat at 5pm and by 7pm the bar became crowded and loud, the noice continued well after hours disturbing our sleep until late at night. The major issue was the lack of wardrobes or drawers in the rooms, making it inconvenient for travelers like us who prefer to unpack our clothes. Also, the dirty hallways near the elevator and down the hallway on the 3rd floor made the hotel feel more like a cheap motel, taking away from the overall pleasant ambiance.

It seemed it got better but oh man I couldn’t stay there again. The hallway was cooler than my room, not going to go back again. We came here for a bit of a staycation while seeing a concert near downtown LA. The property is beautiful, well appointed, and very comfortable. We’re in the middle of a remodel and actually plan to take inspiration from this hotel to redo our main bedroom. Our favorite part however was the staff. There was a labor strike during our stay and the people still working went way above and beyond to make sure our experience was amazing. The front desk was incredibly responsive, and the pool team (King and Heather) were phenomenal. We will definitely be back!

I recently had the displeasure of staying at One Hotel West Hollywood, and my experience was far from satisfactory. The subpar accommodations, coupled with a lack of amenities and an understocked mini-bar, significantly diminished the overall quality of my stay.One major inconvenience was the limited views exclusively offered to suite guests and the extended wait for a room upgrade in the lobby. These unexpected issues added to the disappointment. The primary source of dissatisfaction was the discourteous demeanor displayed by Dwayne at the concierge desk on December 9th around 11:30 am. His condescending and confrontational attitude significantly marred the overall experience.Although Christian at the front desk was friendly, other staff members appeared clueless and contributed to the overall disappointment. Having stayed at multiple One Hotel locations such as Hanalei Bay and New York, the West Hollywood branch falls notably short of the esteemed One Hotel name.In conclusion, I sincerely hope this feedback serves as a constructive means for the management to address these issues, implement necessary improvements, and enhance the overall quality of the guest experience. Prospective guests should consider exploring alternative options for a more satisfactory stay. The West Hollywood location, in particular, pales in comparison to the standards set by other One Hotel establishments.

Beautiful property that weve come back to multiple times.The positives - fantastic location if you are spending time in West Hollywood, rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and the lobby is a fun spot to have a cocktail. Beautiful pool & outdoor spaces, great gym. In-room dining was fast and the food was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful - I called down to the valet and they were happy to charge our car overnight.On our most recent visit, there were a couple of negatives. Our room wasnt ready until 5:30pm - an hour and a half after the hotels check in time - as was the case for the person in front of me in line. This was the second visit where this has happened. I understand that things happen, but thats now a pattern, and for $700 a night I expect more.I was given a $50 credit for the inconvenience, so we had a drink in the lobby. When I took a glance at my invoice after checking out, I saw both the $55 lobby bar tab, and that the allowance had been applied as a CHARGE. When I called they noted the mistake and quickly fixed the problem, but Im a little perplexed as to how that happened.Overall a positive stay and well likely be back, though I really hope we dont have the same issues. The hotel is flanked by similar top-tier properties.

Gorgeous property and room, but strike is disruptive and takes away completely from the experience. We booked months in advance and had no clue about the hotel worker’s strike. As someone who was unaware of the current situation.. waking up early morning to drums and every kind of noise maker imaginable is pretty unpleasant. Management made it seem like no big deal, but if you want to have a peaceful vacation choose another location for sure at least for the time being.

Calming atmosphere. Great location. However I feel it’s a little overpriced with regard to hotel and food/drink. While the is still good, but $6 for a cookie? 😆 The pool is very small for the size of the hotel and hard to get a seat by. Music at nearby hotels kept us up till 2am at times. They also still use carpets in their rooms and I found the bartenders to seem quite exhausted. I still really enjoyed the hotel though, I felt happy to be there.

Overall, this was a nice property with solid rooms, but did not feel like a 5 star experience. I’d recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for that. We wasted hours switching rooms since the hotel miscommunicated (lied) to us regarding some of the circumstances multiple times.-we arrived on a Friday around 10am and were fortunate for an early check in. I did ask for (because some of the other reviews) and they confirmed it was in a quiet part of the hotel . We immediately ventured out for activities in LA, returning around 3pm. From there we heard renovation / construction directly above us (which we were not informed of). We called to inquire about it and they said itd be done at 6pm Friday (fine, we were heading out), and only LIGHT renovations would begin the next day (Saturday) starting at noon. It started at 9am, and was extremely loud and disruptive.-we eventually decided to switch rooms around 11:30am that day, and they told us itd be 45-60 mins until the new room is ready. We went down 90 minutes later to check (since they hadn’t called as they said they would) and said was finally ready so they sent us up. We arrived to the new room with the cleaning lady still cleaning (who was shocked and let out a scream that we were able to come in).-we sat in the hallway with our luggage waiting for the room cleaning to be done for about 10-15 more minutes .

A magnificent hotel, exceptional lobby with plenty of sitting area, fancy bar, outlook to LA, amazing amenities, really wonderful friendly staff. They maintain an environmental conscious vibe, with lots of plants and greenery all around the hotel and lobby area.Our room had such a comfy vibe, everything tidy, clean and very well maintained. The hotel has a restaurant, serves good food. Most of the ingredients are collected from their own garden in the hotel.The hotel is on sunset boulevard, very close to tourist spots like Hollywood walk of Fame, Rodeo drive, Beverly hills, Santa Monica Boulevard.

Super chic, modern, yoga retreat esque hotel. Very relaxing and om if you know what I’m saying. Staff is attentive and the location is great if you want to be in the W Sunset area. Most importantly, the bed was like a cloud and the pillows were perfect. Not sure why anyone bothers to use Blue Stone Lane, their coffees are sub par. Wish they used Intelligentsia but oh well.Love their reduce waste mantra. Pool was relaxing with perfect temperature and beautiful LA city view with plenty of sunshine throughout the day. Service was excellent. Gym is a bit on the cramped side when it gets busy but when it’s not busy it’s more than adequate. It’s clean and well maintained.Looking forward to my next visit.

My stay at 1 Hotel Hollywood was, unfortunately, a significant let-down.Our room, was dirty, with stained carpeting stained bedding which was washed but stained! The coffee machine and tables were laden with dust, nearly finishing my face wipes trying to clean everything.The final straw was a cockroach, which scuttled onto our bed from a pile of towels delivered to our room. This was without a doubt disturbing and unacceptable.The response from the manager was also not acceptable. Though she mentioned she would have liked to have helped us before we decided to check out, the fact remains that she still had the opportunity to make amends and chose not to. The bug on the bed spoke to the hygiene and at that point i was definitely not willing to stay any longer.Unfortunately, it appears that the focus on aesthetics does not extend to maintaining a basic level of cleanliness and comfort in the rooms.

Spectacular green facilities with some rustic features in a luxury hotel with great customer service and food and beverage options. I went to Harriet’s rooftop bar and met Eric, the mixologist. I love a fresh mocktail since I don’t drink alcoholic beverages, except bubbles for a toast on special occasions. Eric made a delicious raspberry, lime, ginger concoction that was pretty with color and garnished with a slice of cucumber and mint! I loved it! His friendly and professional style at the bar was exceptional and I have been to some of the best bars in hotels and restaurants in the area.Kenny was the bellman who kindly showed me to the guest room, after a visit with Danielle at the front desk, and their team, including valet parking services were seasoned, friendly and professional.A beautiful and stylish property and a welcome addition to the neighborhood! After 5 pm the serene, calm, nature-themed hotel turns into a nightclub. There is literally nowhere to eat that is not a bar/club. The rooftop restaurant will not even admit under 21s even if for dinner. Restaurants have rude and pushy club bouncers, not greeters.The hotel staff are very unprofessional and they act like entitled and self-absorbed teenagers with no interest in making the guests happy. They don’t even let you finish your sentence. This horrible attitude was consistent from front desk staff to valets to restaurant staff.

Beautiful building, from decor to lighting and overall architectural design. Room views are incredible especially if you have a balcony overlooking downtown. I had the suite right below the penthouse and it was superb! Nearly every single one of the staff treated me excellently, except one valet driver.Without going too into specifics, I felt very unsafe and threatened by a particularly new valet driver. It was totally unexpected as every other valet went above and beyond to make sure my parking and car retrieval were done as smoothly as possible.Honestly, due to this unsafe incident, I will probably choose another hotel next time, most likely the West Hollywood Edition (I have personally never been but have heard good things about them).I really wanted to like this hotel and hoped to make it my go to for my weekly trips to LA. $3500 for a night with the panoramic suite I got. If they can get rid of the bad apples, maybe I will consider returning.

I tour manage and am in high end hotels very frequently. I was recommended The 1 vs the Four Seasons due to location and was told they strive to deliver 5 star service so i thought id try it out but I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. I walked in to one of the most beautiful hotels 5 star looks, but 3 star hotel service. First I noticed the place was extremely understaffed, only one person at check in so it took a while, one person at the bar, one at the pool. Had issues with my room because I guess someone unplugged the fridge and the things I put in it were spoiled. Minor issue and was resolved in a few so normally not a big deal. Later I went to the pool and received no service for lunch (because inly 1 person was working) so I decided to just leave the hotel for lunch but guess what... THERE WAS NO WATER in the hotel! for 5 HOURS zero water in the middle of the day! I couldnt shower after the pool and missed meeting my friend for lunch cause it wasnt turned back on till 530 pm and I couldnt get dressed, couldnt wash my hands, or even use the bathroom. Thankfully I didnt have a show that night or I would have had to shower at the theater. The only solution offered was to go shower at the disgusting hotel across the street, had i wanted to use their facilities i would have saved $200 and stayed there. The only thing they offered was to comp my awful lunch because i was trapped on property and they then assured me that because i was staying at another 1 hotel the next day in San Francisco that they would make it up to me there. I expected at least a note or acknowledgement but I showed up there to a wait 30 min on my room because their credit card reader didnt work! No mention of my terrible time at this property. This hotel is ALL looks zero service. Oh and the cherry on top is that i left my $500 sunglasses on the table to grab on the way out and stupidly forgot, figured they would ship but of course they were never found. I wrote their customer support describing my time there and never got a response. Never booking my clients at the 1 ever again. If youre gonna spend 5 star money stick to the four seasons.

I never take time off work, so I decided to take a staycation due to burn out. booked 2 nights because my partner thought it looked relaxing and amazing from their website. I’ve never paid this much for a room, it ended up being $1200 for 2 nights, I told myself it’ll be worth it.We requested early check in, so we arrived at 2 they sent us up to our room and it was the wrong room. I paid extra to have a skyline view and bath tub, so we came back down and the front desk questioned if I had mentioned a tub in the booking notes - I let her know I wrote it in 2 out of the 3 note options I was given.She had us wait in the lobby as she didn’t want us to occupy or use the other room while we waited. Me, my partner, and my dog sat in the lobby for 2 hours in our sweatpants with no eta, I had a 5:30 (there were no other times open) dinner reservation at their rooftop, I’m sitting in the lobby in sweatpants and a rainbow leash and dog.. knowing they have a dress code.We asked the manager guy if our room would be ready soon for dinner… he had no idea but said we have special permission to go to the dinner looking the way we did and with our dog because he “called it in” and said “if anyone asks, just say he’s a service animal”…It’s 5:30 and we still don’t have a room, so we embarrassingly walked over to the host to let us into the elevator to go to the rooftop and she looked at us up and down “we have a strict dresscode” we asked if anyone had called and she said no, but let us up. We got up to the rooftop and it was the oddest welcome, most of the serving staff and host were standing around towards the elevator and once we landed they all just stared at us (probably because of our clothes and dog) we introduced ourselves and the situation - and with a stank face the host got us a table after a lot of struggle finding one on the screen - even though the place was practically empty besides older folks in shorts and Hawaiian shirts at the bar… Not to mention the female serving staff is required to wear shirt dresses that are so short they have to wear booty shorts under - I only mention this because of the “dresscode”. The ambiance was weird - Tuscany decor and lil Jon blasting.We hoped our room was ready, manager guy was gone - a new lady is there and has no idea what we’re talking about 15 mins she comes back and says we have a room!Don’t be fooled by the photos - the furniture in the room looks like they bought it off a closing sale of a rustic motel. Does not fit the “modern organic industrial” vibe they sell online but who cares, right?My partners dad calls to see how our staycation is going, he hears about our experience and says he wanted to send something up to cheer us up, this was around 6:00. At around 7:30 he asks if we like it - told him we didn’t receive it, he calls us back and says the hotel will have it over no later than 8:30.. 8:30 he calls back and we still haven’t gotten it. We call front desk and it’s the manager guy, I told him the situation and also that I did not get my welcome rosè that I paid for a part of my room package. He yelled at me and said “OKAY I ALREADY TOLD THE KITCHEN they’re cooking it up right now” I replied “oh.. do you know what time?” He says “okay fine you want me to go to the kitchen myself and tell them again?! Would you like that?!” I let him know we’re not trying to be difficult and he hangs up on us.The “surprise” gets here at 10pm, Prosecco and cold cookies.. that’s what they cooked up. Next morning I get a survey and Andrea calls me- I tell her blah blah and she offers to put us in a loft out last day- we get there and the room is worse and towards the street and our neighbors screamed almost all day and we were next to the housekeeping closet so lots of noise- dog was not happy. We get woken up at 7am from pots and pans banging - the strike starts. Well, a month later I find out they charged MY card for the gift someone else outside the hotel sent up.. had to argue with 2 receptionists to get Andrea to call me back. I want a refund for my stay honestly. Horrible.

Not worth the price AT all. Extremely overpriced for the service and quality of the hotel. List of issues listed below.1. Protests by hotel staff starting at 5am until midday (if not later) - banging with pans, shouting and screaming. This happened repeatedly - not a single apology from anyone from the hotel, apart a woman who encouraged we “complain” so that the “hotel management” would support their protest goals…. Outrageous!2. AC was SO loud 24/7 and apparently according to the staff that’s the “normal” noise. Not entirely sure that’s a normal AC noise to be honest - sounded like a plane reactor. We were also unable to set the AC to the strength or temperature that we wanted - it was either full blow constantly or hot/cold.3. The staff is extremely unpleasant, cold, unfriendly and clearly has an attitude problem - I had read about this prior to book the hotel and was still shocked by how cold people were.4. For a 5* hotel I’d expect there to be 2 sinks in the bathroom as opposed to one only.5. Housekeeping - we asked the room to be done and came back at night and it was still undone.6. Food in the corridors - every single day there were at least 2/3 trays on the floor outside the rooms which smelled and then made carpet stains.7. $65 for overnight parking when you’re paying a room $550? That’s a joke.8. The phone app doesn’t work as it should.9. The music on weekends is SO loud until midnight - you can hear it in your bedroom.10. Gym - no glasses to have water - had to get glasses myself. There are missing weights and very few machines.11. Breakfast price - I know we’re in LA but extortionate prices for a very average avocado toast and pastries.12. Curtains in the bedroom - none are automatic and there are 5 sets in the bedroom. Never seen this before!13. Room was super humid when we arrived.We expect hotel management to contact us for this kind of stay given the price that was paid for FIVE nights in the hotel. It’s simply unacceptable. We came for a relaxing stay and it was quite the opposite.

I loved staying at this hotel one night for work, but I do have a few nit picks. The rooms don’t have bathtubs in them, which I was surprised by for a 5-star hotel. The parking is extremely expensive — $65 per night — and I had to ask about the price to be told the charge. The minibar is also way marked up, which feels unnecessary (I prefer fancy hotels where the minibar snacks are complementary). The pool area and bar are very nice, although the view isn’t so special. The 1 app is buggy — we weren’t able to use it to check out because of software errors. There’s no desk in the rooms, and I wish there were more outlets for a computer charger. Overall, the 1 stay was peaceful and lovely but not memorable. Great location, and clean super comfortable beds.

Love this hotel. The rooms are simply beautiful, as is the lobby, the restaurant, the attached rooftop bar Harriets, and the courtyard. Its like an oasis on Sunset, with the perfect plantscapes and the best mood lighting Ive ever seen in a hotels public areas. Its perched previously at the top of where La Cienega terminates into Sunset, so if youre not a walker and dont like Hills, good luck. On the upside, the hill locations makes for incredible views.

So I will say the hotel is stunning and as pictured; however, the staff and inconveniences have ruined our stay here, and we are only on night one! Of a two-night visit. We started with the check-in we. When booked on their website, we will come early and tried calling as it stated to do so on their website, but the staff contradicted this. When we got there, we waited till almost 3:30 then we were told one of the bedrooms would not be ready but would be prepared soon. I never said it would not be ready at check-in at 4 pm. My sin had to sleep. Then we ordered room service well before 11 and were called at 11:06 saying it was passed 11 even though we ordered before. Then the valet failed to bring up our items. The front desk has been downright unhelpful Nd not accommodating, and the management is to blame. This is a systematic top-down issue.

Employees at desk have attitude and can’t even get simple room service orders correct that only include a bagel. When trying to get help from management.. NO ONE CALLS YOU BACK OR RECTIFIED THE SITUATION. Motel level of service and even Holiday Inn changes your sheets daily. This place is a joke! And forget about getting compensation for a horrible stay, they won’t even email back after they Fake act like they care to make the situation better. First let me start with the positives. The hotel is beautiful. Love the eco-zen feel. Decor is awesome.Now the negatives. I paid $1200 for one night with a city view. The pictures online show a Hollywood hills view. I literally just looked directly into the other tower. The service was awful. Front desk guy seemed annoyed. They didn’t have my reservation. Eventually they found it but we stood around forever just waiting while they looked. We stay at a lot of 5 star hotels (often cheaper than this) and they are way better.Also for $1200/ night they literally put us directly in front of the elevator. It was super loud all night.Breakfast was decent for the price but not amazing. Again only so so service there. I would not stay here again. I stay at the andaz across the street and the W and both have better service and much better price given quality flaws of the one hotel

Such a great stay. I wanted to treat my husband to a relaxing night after a few days of tests/procedures at City of Hope. He was so happy with my choice -“whatever you paid for this, it was worth it.” The arrival was smooth, greeted by the signature 1Hotel scent in the lobby (iykyk). Front desk staff was nice and allowed us to hang by the pool while we waited for our room to be ready (we arrived super early). Plenty of seats at the pool with a beautiful view, our server was super friendly to boot. Our room was a very comfortable and serene space with a great bed. Bathroom was big with quality, delicious smelling products. We took advance of a ride from the house car to dinner. On return that night we were enchanted by the outdoor areas at night - there was a stunning overhead light installation that made the entire patio area magical. This spot is really so special and a luxurious green sanctuary in the midst of LA - we will be back when we can.

Very natural and calm atmosphere even when it was really busy.Matt at the front desk is an absolute rockstar and he went above and beyond everytime to ensure we were happy and enjoying our stay. Kristy was also super friendly and gave us advice on where to go and what to do!Location is great and we had no trouble getting around. Dania checked us in, and she was sooo sweet! Hospitable was an understatement. Love when the front desk team is nice. Food was great, though Harriets Rooftop--the host to let us in (tall African-American guy)-was unnecessarily rude and trying to create unnecessary exclusivity, even after we said we are guests of the hotel. I thought those times were over. Anyway, once upstairs, the ambience was great.Rooms were very clean, products were perfect, bed-amazing, and views...stunning. He really needs to be recognized for his service to the guests. He facilitated transportation after multiple Uber drivers canceled on us. Terrill- also part of the valet team was amazing and provided us with a safe and comfortable transport to the show. They definitely went above and beyond.I stayed here because the conference I was attending was held there. It was well organized from the coordinators, but also from the hotel staff. The services here is very bad, upon checking in no one gives you any guidance of which elevator to take, no introduction of what amenities and hours they are open. When checking out, no one asks about your experience, or politely hope you will come back. Overall, this place gives me a feeling that they don’t care about their random customers, or they only care about their frequent customers. First of all I want to say that we got very disappointed after staying in Hotel 1 in Los Angeles. When we arrived to check in we said to the front desk that we are on a birthday trip but she just ignored it . It’s not a big deal but anyway when we come to celebrate in your hotel a special occasion you want to feel like people care . We reserved 2 rooms and one of the room was ready after 4 PM which is official check in time . Ok . We did not want to make troubles and complain and just put all our luggage in the room that was ready (P.S we arrived at 3.50 PM so it was not an early check in or something) Of course we got 2 rooms next to the elevator that made our stay experience so unforgettable and memorable! In the evening we booked a table to go to sunrise bar to find out that our table is not ready . OK. Not a big deal - we said that we are ok seating in the middle on the sofas . 40 mins after they said that we need to switch the tables as our original table finally got empty and they have reservation on the one we were seating on . We said that we are almost done and don’t really want to move but they did not allow us to stay and we had to switch. OK. Not a big deal Because anyway we were almost done and just asked for the check after switching the table. But the worst disappointment was when we went to the shower and found mold it in . This is something you don’t want to see when staying in a 5 star hotel . But who cares ? When I was checking out they did not even asked how was the stay :( I hope managers will see it because you guys position yourself as a 5 star hotel and not a cheap motel down the street and at least need to know if your guests are enjoying their stay or not.Only people that we enjoyed the service were valet people. Very nice and friendly .

First time staying at 1 West Hollywood and I had high expectations based off the reviews. I arrived at almost 8pm, only to learn my room was still not available (check in was at 4pm). After 25min of waiting for the receptionist to come back, I was asked to sit down and wait for my original room. When I questioned this option, I was given a room on the second floor. It faced the street, therefore I could hear traffic all night. If that wasn’t enough, the unit right across from mine was undergoing a remodel. Sounds like repairs were starting around 7am even on the weekend.Beautiful property but I unfortunately won’t be recommending it.

Absolutely incredible space and service. Staff went above and beyond. The only complaint was that the pool was a little filmy.. had a layer of residue I assume from all the sunscreen and tanning oils. Small pool and limited seating for laying out. If you come early you can snag a spot. Food was great upstairs and there was a wonderful Egyptian waitress who made our day. Also. The valet ladies downstairs were very efficient and so sweet. Definitely will stay again. Thank you!!

The 1 Hotel West Hollywood did not disappoint, the parking staff was amazing and very kind. On arrival I met Theodore at the front desk, who offered us a few other options besides the original studio suite I booked with Amex. We decided on a loft suite which was lovely. The Hotel itself is nice boho chic, wood tones, etc. the food was ok but the staff was what stood out to me. They all really strive to please guests.So thank you Theodore you made a difference.

The only thing which is 5 star high in this hotel is prices. Room that we got was nice but super tiny with small windows looking to nowhere. Up on arrival we noticed that the room was not cleaned properly after someone with a pet. Short hair was laying everywhere. We were moved to another room with even tinier window. One. Tiny. Window. Blackout curtains in this room are installed the way they don’t really blackout. TV is not working. Bed sheets with holes. WiFi connection is super slow. Overnight valet super overpriced. Stuff is cool, interior design is nice(outside of freaky tiny windows that make you feel like you live in a closet) but this is not 5 star experience by far.

Stayed for one night with my mom, she has stayed at multiple hotels in Beverly Hills and said this was by far her favorite. It’s clean and well decorated. Once they are done with construction, it’s going to be stunning. Everywhere smells great, I wish I could bring that smell home with me! The staff is really nice and very accommodating. Victoria, one of the people greeting you at the front was so helpful and warm. She walked us to the lobby and back to the elevator helping us find our way. She suggested a great place to eat and even got us pool passes while we waited for our room to be ready. The only thing that could be improved is that all the greeters wear their own clothes, so when you arrive, you can’t tell they work for the hotel. I couldn’t help but be apprehensive about someone coming up to me trying to grab my bag in a strange city. The people in the lobby also wear street clothes, but they are matching and look like they are working. Other then that, I will be returning there and suggesting it to friends. Check out the bar upstairs if you get a chance, it’s gorgeous.

Nice common areas, not so nice guest rooms.We booked a studio suite that for two nights ($400/night before tax, fees and valet) right after the stay at home order was lifted and there were very few guests at the hotel. We assumed that we would get a room similar to the main one shown on the website. However, instead we got a dark room at the end of the hall with a noisy view of sunset blvd. There are only two thin windows that barely allow any light in. The room is fairly spacious which is nice though.Given how few people are staying here it seems like they could have easily given us the nicer studio suit instead. Or at least a room with a nicer view. I understand that this is what we paid for so I can’t be that upset, it’s just a little disappointing for the price.The lobby and restaurant area is more well done than the rooms. However, that’s all closed due to COVID so I’m basing my opinion of it on a previous stay. The pool is nice but small.The price we paid would be decent if our room was a little nicer and the other amenities were available.

Textures, materials, colors, friendly staff, all in all great!The reason I took off one star is because I booked a suite at a slightly higher price than the regular king bed rooms, but my suite turned out to feel like a dark cave right by the busy street. Consequently, I asked for a different room and got a nice regular king room with more light but the trade off was that I ended up having to pay suite pricing for a regular room which left a sour taste in my mouth, especially considering that my friend who booked a regular king room got an incredible room with views over the entire city. This could have been handled better and I do not recommend booking a suite unless you don’t mind a dark cavy feel (the room aesthetic is still very nice!) and some street noise.The bellman Sean (Sean?) was especially nice and helpful!

Try the Hermosa Sour.Its a bit busy and loud.Minus is that one of us came in with a flight and we planned, and had, a full evening at the hotel and the rooftop bar (- see separate review), and she was not able to leave the bag at the hotel. We spent more than $1000 this evening on food and drinks, and I just think that would have been curtesy when you have such a large party of 8, instead a bad attitude at the front desk. We stayed here for 4 nights while they were renovating part of the hotel. The renovations didnt disrupt our stay at all and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. There were free breakfast, snacks and drinks available during certain times which was a great perk! The pool is lovely, great views and very attentive bar staff. The pool doesnt really get the sun later in the afternoon so make sure you go earlier in the day. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the decor was lovely.

Amazing hotel! When we arrived at check in, the gentleman told us that we were upgraded to a loft suite but he was upgrading us again to the 1 bedroom suite. We were so excited to go up and see our room, little did we know what kind of treat we were in for. The minute we walked in we couldn’t believe it. This was by far the largest hotel room we had been in. The living room was huge, there was a dining area, a crazy big bathroom with a soaking tub and separate large shower, and a really big bedroom. There were windows along the entire wall of this suite. We even had a small balcony to enjoy the views of downtown. The bathroom had its own window of the Hollywood hills. We enjoyed the next morning and early afternoon at the pool which was heated to the perfect temperature. Will 100% be back. Thank you so much to the staff for making it a trip to remember!

5-star service! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome by Marquis, one of the staff that works near the drop off area. We had to do errands every morning and he was always there making great conversation with us. The whole trip was overall a spectacular experience and the way the hotel looks, feels, and smells is amazing! All of the rooms are very tidy and spotless as well. This is definitely a great hotel that will provide a one-of-a-kind experience to all of the guests and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is still on the fence or trying to decide whether or not to come. :)

Very disappointing! I booked a “Studio Suite” for 400$ a night. (staying for 5 days) The room does not even look like as promoted on the website. Less / smaller windows therefore darker and the beautiful bed is also missing. I shared my disappointment right away but the hotel staff could not offer me to switch rooms. The front desk lady even admitted that there are nicer “Studio Suites” available but there are all occupied. I am shocked about this!From this size and style of hotel you can expect so much more. Instead of a nice welcome maybe with a refreshment, you get charged 46$ for parking.Absolutely no recommendation!

I’ve been here for 5 nights and it’s been ok. Due to covid there’s not as many workers cleaning. Two days they didn’t come at all after calling 6 times. Also we couldn’t get a reservation for the rooftop and we were here for 5 nights. So I don’t think they prioritize guest. Rooms are beautiful and I’ve had good experiences at others. Location and facility of this hotel are fantastic.However what wasn’t fantastic is the treatment received from Employees. Only people that had respect and manners were the cleaning crew, bar staff, and valet.All other employees were a nightmare to deal with from the very beginning. Despite the outrageous price for a nightly stay here, the rooms being cleaned only happens upon request and it is up to the front desk employees to dispatch upon the entire hotels request.So we definitely had to call more than 4 times most days for them to actually send someone.If you think that part is a migraine to deal with try telling it to the staff, who are just as brain dead to deal with and will continue to pick an unprovoked argument just to have something to complain about later

Booked a skyline king room several days before, and when we drive here at around 6pm, the room is still not ready even though we wait for an extra hour. So we ask to downgrade the room, while funny thing is that the clerk show us the wrong elevator since there are both a west tower and east tower. Nice, we take another 30 min to figure that out and finally get some rest after a long drive.I would say its my first-time experience getting such terrible service at a 5-star hotel. I dontt want to blame anyone but this series of troubles do ruin my evening.The only reason I dont give a 1 star is that its pet friendly and they help us with the luggages well, but please get the room ready earlier, and that can be even more essential!

If you’re booking here because you’ve seen nice pics on Instagaram, you’ll be disappointed.The housekeeping here was terrible too. The room was dusty and hadn’t been cleaned very well. The dirty glasses in our room were STILL there on the 5th day of our stay. We left a room service tray outside our door when we had finished, it was still there 48 hours laterUnless you’re paying the massively overpriced valet fee, the doormen will just stand and watch you get your bags out of your car and offer no help at allI won’t be going back here and I wouldn’t recommend it

I have stayed at quite a few 1 hotels and this one is my absolute favorite. My husband and I stayed here for about a week when we eloped and the 1 hotel really took care of us. Especially since covid, lots of hotels make you ask for service but at the 1 - we had someone checking on our mini bar and the room every single day. We stayed in a suite facing the hills and loved our room (could be more outlets and a more convenient place for the nespresso) but we had such an awesome time. Front desk was incredibly friendly and I wana give a shout out to Dustin at the pool and Sami and Berry at the bar lounge. Dustin took care of me and my friend and made the best moscow mules every. Sami and Berry were honestly the most fun and me and my friends had such an awesome time in the lounge with the gorgeous green juice cocktail that deserves praise on its own. I used to stay at another boutique hotel when I came to LA for the last 7 years, but now Im officially converted and look forward to calling the 1 hotel home again.

We love this hotel in Miami. But in LA it has awful service. We’ve got 2 towels for two people and no cotton swabs or cotton rounds at the beginning. Next day we came to the reception to reactivate our keys. After very busy day figured out that nothing happened and both keys are not working. After housekeeping on the second day of stay, they left empty water bottles, used coffee cups and pillows on the floor. And didn’t even bring more coffee stating that coffee is only upon request!!! Are you serious??? It’s the standard part of housekeeping procedure!!! Very disappointed for $600+ per night.

From check-in, the staff was kind, extremely attentive, and willing to help with anything we asked for.On our first afternoon, we had my sister come up for a quick bite at the hotel. At the rec of a friend, we tried the truffle french fries. To. Die. For. Highly recommend that anyone with a penchant for fries get their hands on some. Plus, the hotel has an extensive cocktail menu.For breakfast both days, we ate at the hotel. Delicious avocado toast, good breakfast burrito, and really phenomenal fresh fruit (some of the best cantaloup weve had).The crowd at the hotel was hip and attractive.Our Panoramic Suites offered a tremendous view of LA. The doors to the bathroom have no way of staying open, it’s like they were spring loaded so every time you opened it, it would slam shut. It is a fairly new hotel with a great location. It is located in close proximity to all of the major attractions. The hotel staff were amazing they made our stay very comfortable. The room and decor in the hotel was beautiful! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. Best part of this hotel was the pool that came with great views of the LA skyline! Along with that the valet service provided by the hotel was a bonus and was definitely worth the money. This hotel seemed nice upon check in, and should be given the price per night and five stars, but it was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel.The first night I got into bed and there were grains of sand everywhere. I brushed it off thinking they were a carryover from the wash but not a good way to turn in for the night in a used, dirty bed.Then, the second day, I asked not twice but three times for my room to be cleaned and no one ever came. When I went to the front desk in person, they said they would send someone up to replace towels but not clean the room and when I came back again, still nothing had changed.Do not stay here, there are much better places just doors down that don’t rip off their customers.

The Jeremy west is a brand new hotel, its super clean and modern. We loved the staff they where all very friendly from the front desk to the valet. We brought our dog on this trip so the fact that its a pet friendly hotel was a huge plus. The check in process was straightforward and painless thanks to Ina and her immaculate professionalism. Who else has cute litte wood chips as room keys? Although I had issues with my room, the Front Desk Manager Steven did not stop at no, but truly went above and beyond to find a solution. The hotel was completely booked and I could not change rooms. However after exhausting every solution possible, Steve went outside the box and came up with a miracle that started my stay off right. He also gave me a call the next day to check in with how I was enjoying my stay, #Blessed. This hotel also has a great Vallet team with the ever delightful Victoria who remembered my name and activities Ive done. Arriving back to the hotel was always fun when you have Victoria to greet you. Even though you could take the house car (Audi e-tron all electric) for a couple of hours for errands or lunch for FREE!, I really enjoyed the chauffeur or drop off service they have. Brian made every drive I had engaging and fun. LA can be a tough place to drive around, but Brian made it felt safe and relaxed.Overall the rooms and views were immaculate, but its the extremly warm welcome from the staff and management that made me fall in love with this location. I wanted to love and give this hotel 5 stars but the only 5 stars it would get from me is decor. For the amount of money per night for a room I was hoping the service would be better and that there would be ic available to guests at all times but it’s only available until 2pm. No In room service after 2pm. Called several times for one request and it took me going to the Desk twice. Amenities are services are not there for the $500+ per night I was spending.

Many things that disappoint.We pulled up to the hotel upstairs area. I rolled down my window passenger side about to ask the older man where do we valet and he ignored me and walked over to the driver side to talk to my husband. That made us feel like he doesn’t respect women, right away we felt disrespected. So he told my husband where to go to park/valet. Parking is 46$ a night no problem. Checking in is 3pm we arrived 3:30pm thinking our room would be ready. Not ready. They told us to hang around go to pool area which we did in our airport outfit. Up there for a while no one came around to offer drink or menu. Being a 5 star hotel and $700 for a room you would think their service is top. Waited for their call when the room was ready but obviously there was no call. Went down to check on status and she said it wasn’t ready. We have plans and places to go and need to freshen up. It is now 4:30. We continue to patiently wait as their staff cleans up our room. Sitting there seeing many other guests get keys to their room. 5:30 we checked status and she said our room is good to go. Gave us keys and we took our own luggage up because we need it ASAP. Got on the floor and used the key to tap in. There is someone in there cleaning. Are you serious. He was cleaning from the previous guests staying there. Sheets were not changed and he asked us if he should leave. Leave? Leave us in someone else’s dirty room? We told him we just checked in. Then he asked us if we wanted to wait on the sofa in the room. Are you serious again? The room needed another hour of cleaning and sanitizing and changing sheets. Unless he wasn’t planning to? We walked downstairs to the reception where the girl told us our room was “ready”. She didn’t didn’t know what to do at this point. It’s now 6pm and we have no room. We left. We wasted 3 hours of our life in a upscale hotel that really isn’t upscale and punctual. Come here if you want to be disrespected, ignored, being nice to in a very fake way or feel out of place.

Currently here at an event and I have to say this is an incredibly gorgeous hotel, recently renovated and apparently still is getting more added to the already beautiful decor and atmosphere. All the staff I met have been super friendly, kind and accommodating. The GM Tim is one of the nicest men of his stature and authority Ive met in a very long time, running this place and maintaining such friendly and genuine poise. This place really has it together.

I have stayed at ALL 1hotel properties in the United States and while my review may be biased because I love 1 hotels, there is a reason I have been to all 4. I have not been sponsored and have paid out of pocked to visit these hotels.In any case, the hotel is beautiful, centrally located, and the staff are beyond nice. Checked in on 05/21 to 05/24 and was treated with the best service. From bar staff, valet attendants, and guest services. Of special notice was the lady from the valet services. She is such a kindhearted woman and very helpful. I did not get her name but she stood out the most. The pool area is beautiful, bar has amazing drinks, and the rooms were clean. I did not give the hotel a 5/5 only because of the pesky doors that did not stay open. I am sure the doors are a new design but I was not a fan. They were heavy and closed very easily..Would not recommend babies/toddlers be left unattended as the doors could injure a little one. I would also note that the doors have an open handle and one can see into the shower/commode.All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice staff, and they have a very nice feature where they text you. You can just text them anytime and have things brought up to your room without getting on the phone. You dont even need to check out, you can just text them and let them know. Only reason Im giving 4 stars is because there is no bath tubs and no hot tub. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. This is a very modern boutique hotel, fast elevators, refreshing lobby and cafe atmosphere.It looks like you have walked into an architects layer.Great location, and valet parking staff are very good here.The entire facility is operated via TEXT MSG, it takes a day or so to get accustomed to, but if you need your car or had a question just text the number that they provide you. Staff was very attentive and everything is very clean. Some of the decorative aspects make signage difficult to read (took me a while to find the restrooms by the kitchen because of the dimly lit corridor and overly designed signage). Im also not convinced that the first impression of an upscale hotel should be someone with an untucked shirt, torn jeans, and Vans at the driveway. This was clearly an accepted style, as the casual and laid back attire was repeated throughout the property. Again, this is a perhaps a matter of personal taste and preference, but it did make it difficult to determine who the staff was from regular guests.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed but terrible customer service. 1) There was complimentary tea in the room but the kettles wasn’t brought after been asked for twice. 2) No hairdryer in the bathroom. 3) The lotion & bodywash weren’t opened and it took me several tries to open them. Then tried to call them to ask for assistance. 4) The phone in the room didn’t work. I went downstairs again to ask it to be fixed yet no one came back. I asked the next day to fix it they said it’d be done. I stayed there for 3 nights but no one bothered to come and fix the phone in the room. 5) I asked for the room to be cleaned. It got cleaned but some my garbage box was left. It’s funny and very disturbing at the same time. 6) No new tissues were brought to replace my finished ones (the empty box was left and no one took her out btw from the floor). 7) There was no menu for the mini bar and when I told them downstairs about it I’ve been asked if I wanna have a link to the pricelist. It seems like everything is just designed to make u spend your money there. The candies from the minibar are $17 and the water bottle w a sign one hotel is $11. 8) Expensive parking. Overall, for a per night price you should be getting a queen treatment, not make me run downstairs 100 times to ask for things which will be forgotten about.

This place is badass. I attended the Variety TV Summit here and this hotel has a great vibe. I didn’t stay in a room, but trolled around a little. The bar is cool, the ambiance is very California. I wanted to climb the art installment of ropes and lines, but I am pretty sure they would’ve removed me after I got down.

So beautiful. I would give this 5 but there are so many insane charges.If you have a car, plan on adding $60-75 (depending on how you tip) per DAY for parking. They force valet. If you want to watch an on demand movie (ie free streaming at most hotels) it’s $21. So parking and a streaming movie for the day = $100.Just be aware of these things. If you don’t care about this stuff then this hotel is perfect. A GORGEOUS spot on sunset strip.

The hotel was decent. Rather on the smaller end compared to its location in Brooklyn. Wish theyd given us a higher floor and maybe w view if they werent at full capacity anyway. Restaurants were rather empty. Cocktails by the pool werent impressive though they were priced on the higher end.What irked me the most was paying $50 for overnight parking. Theres free parking one block over next to the Mondrian, and paid parking ($25) right across the street behind the stores with for lease signs.No great options to eat around the area. Im not sure if itd come back.

Wow, where do I start? Lets start with my check-in experience with, Ina. After a long day of flights and an even more trying time with the LAX Uber situation, Ina made me feel at home, put me at ease and was so kind! She could probably tell I was exhausted and frazzled but her calm cool personality really helped set the tone of the service 1Hotels provides. As the days went on, I also had an excellent experience with Edward at the front desk. I had a little bit of a complicated reservation but he handled it with ease and humor and made me laugh a few times. I did have the chance to check out the pool, lounge and kitchen area and cannot say how easy and care free you feel staying at this hotel. Everyone was a delight to work with but. because of the amazing service, Ina + Edward provided, I will 100% be back and will be telling all of my friends and colleagues to stay here.

Awful service. There is nowhere to eat on the property. Even though we got a upgraded suite and paid about $1500 a night, the hotel staff couldnt even get us a reservation at their own hotel bar. The bar staff was INSANELY rude to my wife one night. She asked for a drink and the bartender said step fifteen feet away from the bar - we are closed right now as he continued serving other customers (who did not reside in the hotel and came after). Of course, after complaining to the manager all of a sudden the bar was indeed open (for another 35 minutes). This is nothing like the One in Miami. If thats what youre looking for, go elsewhere.

Covid is not an excuse to offer poor service and charge a premium. Ive stayed at the South Beach location many times and its always spectacular, including as recently as last week, but this stay was horrible from start to finish. The lack of assistance or caring from staff is impressive, even during these times. Dozens of calls to any extension always went unanswered, we received no guidance where the entrance or elevators or rooms were, and felt completely forgotten and as if we were a burden. Rooms 956 and 957 were not entirely clean as evidenced by hair in the tubs, and our air conditioners were broken so we suffered through the unit blowing hot wet air at us all night. We reached out to the front desk and emailed and even filled out a survey and whats worse nobody even bothered to respond.

The hotel is conveniently located on Sunset with easy access to and from the hotel. The valet staff goes way above and beyond the call. They are friendly and most importantly quick to retrieve your car. They welcome you by name and are very easy to converse with. They make you feel as if youre the only one theyre serving.The front desk staff upon check in and check out was very friendly. The lobby is chic with very modern touches. The pool staff and bartender where awesome. The pool is quaint with a great view.The rooms, like any other hotel in LA, have hardly any views unless you are on the south side. Still at that, how many people book rooms to stay in your room to look out a window. The bathrooms where large and the shower was great with nice amenities. They provide eco-friendly water in the box at no charge. The bed.... absolutely heavenly! Super comfortable and the pillows where so cozy!Overall, this hotel by far is one on the top of my list. Ive stayed at hundreds of hotels, but these types of hotels go above and beyond the chain hotels. Hope it keeps its personal charm! see you all next visit.

When I walked into the hotel, I thought I found my get away place from cold New York. Design of the lobby was beautiful, but The room was terrible!!Lack of light fixtures, there is dead space no reading light, closet has bad BO smell they say it is smell of the wood. I understand unfinished concrete look is trendy, but ceiling is actually unfinished . Furnitures in theRoom look very cheap. RefrigeratorCabinet looks like it was picked at flea market, and very dusty.The hotel focused on interior how it should look trendy, details of the rooms were not well thought out at all.I would come back for couple drinks in the lobby area but I never want to stay as a guest. Great hotel and location. The staff were really good. The breakfast was very tasty and finally, a hotel with a good coffee!I am a bit confused over all the hidden taxes I was charged. There were several that I have not heard of before. One ranges up to $46 per day. It was a bit of a shock to see the amount of additional charges when we paid a premium rate for our stay. This let the hotel down for me.

The 1 hotel is a ECO-friendly hotel that is paperless. The restaurant has their own garden and the chefs use there own fresh produce to cook meals. I went to this hotel because it was my mothers birthday. They have amazing hospitality every department from the valet, front desk, House keeping, Bellman,. Everyone that works there was super nice. Victoria that works for the valet at 1 hotel gave amazing Service. she gave everyone that walked in the building fantastic Service. She gave great suggestions on what to do and go. she has a great spirit and was smiling and happy and was giving everyone A+ service. Ryan was my Bellmen he was super nice too. He made sure all of our luggage was safe he gave us suggestions as well. He was friendly he was always smiling and he was giving everybody great hospitality. Another cool thing that 1 hotel has is a car shuttle that is free that will take you 3 mile radius from the hotel the car is the coolest its a Tesla. It was my family 1st time in a Tesla car. The Tesla shuttle ride was amazing. The driver of the Tesla name was Carly Carranza and was a great driver and gave great Service and was super friendly as well. They also have a rooftop bar with a city view it’s a panoramic it’s beautiful it’s sexy they have a DJ it is the best bar to go to. The location of the one hotel is perfect it’s right on sunset where all the bars restaurants and other hotels are and everything is in walking distance as well prime location. I am so blessed that I got to stay at the 1 hotel and that my family had an amazing time my mother had a great birthday. They also gave my mother a bottle of wine and a postcard to wish her happy birthday and I am all the way happy with my whole experience. So if you’re looking for a great hotel with A+ service and great hospitality 1 hotel in west Hollywood is the perfect place to stay. They’ve only been open up for three months so it’s a brand new hotel in California and they have different locations like New York Miami it’s a super relaxing hotel with nature and beautiful plants and flowers every where. Not such a great experience at check in. I had booked a king room. We had to check in and leave right away for dinner and came back around midnight. What a surprise to come in to a double bed room for me and my husband. Not what I booked and that wasn’t mentioned or not they asked if that was ok with us. I had to go back to front desk (pretty tired at this time) but they changed us room. They didn’t offer to help with our luggage (which we have 4 big suitcases). I also always like to have a third pillow for myself and only four pillows on the bed without any extra in the closet. We just came back from Houston where we stayed in a five star hotel and this unfortunately doesn’t compare to it. Beautiful design but lacking in the service department.

Have stayed at this property for the past 3 years and this years experience was certainly different. I also agree with the comments below regarding COVID. I feel as though they really used COVID as an excuse to lean out staff and strip away amenities. I stayed at 2 other luxury properties during my trip to California (Ritz Carlton & Beverly Hills Hotel) and neither of these properties behaved the way 1HOTEL did. They closed off the gift shop, made guests request cleaning services, removed room service dining and were impossible to get ahold of when calling the front desk. Also, luckily I made reservations ahead of time at Harriets Rooftop (only food option at night) because during check-in they reminded us it was completely booked. Really disappointed, I used to love this property along with staff. They notably had the best valet staff in the game, now the majority of them are very short and make you feel rushed. I understand this hotel is sustainable and trying to navigate through a pandemic, so removing things makes sense to a point- but they are rated a 5 star hotel and we are paying the premium for that. Thankfully I started my trip here because following this stay with Ritz + BHH, there just really is no comparison. And that is sad to say because last year I stayed at the BHH first and then 1Hotel and I loved my experience.

The hotel is a hip modern hotel. You need a key card for everything. The hotel is split into two towers. The view is great and the concierge are quick to respond. My biggest gripe with the hotel is the lack of signs. I was lost and couldnt make heads or tails of where anything was. The lobby was underground and the parking is impossible to find.

Compared to the other hotels in Cali this is possibly worst. The check in was fast but could not understand the reception. Signage is non-existent - wanted a room looking over the hills but we look over another building - no draw space - inadequate clothing storage - you have to walk through reception to get to the pool - when I opened a draw in bathroom if fell off. nobs in bathroom mean you cant hang towels on as they fall off. Lighting is more for appearance then practical - no bar open at night (we got back at 11) no place for luggage in room to be stores - obstacles in room if you get up in night for bathroom - bath massive to get in and out. Plus sides are style - inside and out but being practical has to blend with this . No where near as impressed as I thought and more expensive then any other hotel . One of my new favorite hotels in LA! There are so many of these smaller hotel brands and The Jeremy did not fail on anything. Right off of the Sunset Strip it provides just the right amount of hip and trendy with upscale luxury! This hotel has the worst service level out of any 4-5 star hotel I’ve been to. So rightfully named the one hotel for one star and stay one time and you will not want to come back. I showed up to check in at 8 pm and first had to wait 30 mins as they were severely understaffed. I had also called in booked direct with hotel which costed more than Expedia so I could find out which room type was best and request a higher floor. The lady then told me to get the skyline view and I said I’ll pay both the $50 extra for the room upgrade and $50 more than Expedia to let them get the booking direct just make sure I have a room held on high floor good view. Reservations agreed to this and then when I showed up all they had was a 4th floor “skyline” that looked right at their other building and this big net they have. I told the front desk manager, Juliette, this is not what we agreed to. She then said it’s late no other rooms available and then blamed me for their mistake saying that I should know when you go to hotels late availability gets low and that they have guests pay $100 for higher floor rooms with view (which was never presented to me and I did go to their highest category of room). Her solution rather than offer a diff room type a discount late checkout or anything was to basically say if I don’t like it she can refund me and I can go stay elsewhere. At this point it was 9 pm and I did a 1 night stay so this made no sense to go spend another hour figuring out where to stay. She then said the view is great from your room sir you will be impressed I have posted photos of the view you guys tell me I’d thats great.Secondly, you get in there rooms they are extremely small, there is no closet just a little arm-our, the AC doesn’t work properly, you can clearly here the people in the room next door, the balcony is on this weird underground level, gym is extremely small, no spa, drinks are $25 for a regular drink, the ad unit does not go below 68 and really feels like it’s 71-72 in room, and valet is $46 and destination fee is $35 so amongst fees alone you will pay an extra 100 . The only bright spot was the bellman and valet were nice. They both admitted to being understaffed and that I’m not the first guest to have an issue with the front desk. The edition down the street is brand new and 100 times better from a lobby bar ambiance standpoint. Have yet to stay in there rooms but will try next. Also Mr. C in Beverly Hills is typically around same price and rooms have great views balcony and people are much nicer. I highly recommend trying one of those hotels over this one.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to do so every time I travel to LA .. Which is a lot. This property is absolutely well run, its modern --- has a great vibe (which gives you energy) and location is outstanding. I been to 80+ countries and 100s of hotels for my work and this one represents the best combination of class / price / service / location.

Amazing public space inside and out - love the sculpture outside at night! Really enjoyed the view from street level on the observation deck. Did not enjoy the bar/restaurant. Love the decor, very clean and modern lines.

The vibe here is amazing very much like a tulum beach vibe. I absolutely love the lobby its very inviting. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. It will most likely be Hollywoods see and be seen place this summer. Plus a roof top pool and bar.

Great stay for 3 nights in January. Love 1 Hotels in general, but highlights of this stay - full moon yoga and sound therapy, 1 kitchen, lounge bar, gym, and service. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

The Jeremy is a nicely designed hotel with lovely staff. It has great views of Hollywood and is near all the great attractions and shops. However, despite the fact that your car gets parked for you, parking is a bit overpriced so our family had to stop car rental as it was too expensive to park for a whole week! The food is decent but the eggs may be a bit two salty for any Brits. Their avacado toast is divine and is a big recommendation of mine. The room service is luxury as fine as you can get as the staff carry your luggage.Overall, the Jeremy is a fine modern hotel but has little room for improvement

Beautiful hotel located on Sunset and Lacienega soon to reopen as 1 hotel.Check in took a little bit and was not given the proper update of all hotel had to offer, chalking it up to a new hire.Rustic eco friendly decor in the rooms. Spacious with sprawling views of the city of AngelsLovely grounds with panoramic views of Los Angeles.Harriets bar is super swanky creating delicious cocktails. Dress your best here!Hotel was under construction as of last weekend. Still worth the stay.

This new hotel suits my needs pretty well on most business trips to West Hollywood area and surroundings. I do miss the traditional desk in the room to work from in between meetings but I read somewhere that the current and next generation of (business) travellers don’t prefer a desk in the room. I guess I’m old-school but working on a legal document or PowerPoint presentation isn’t great laying on the bed or sitting in an uncomfortable lounge chair.The breakfast has been somewhat a hit & miss. Although I love the coffee bar and their selection of juices and pastries, a few times in a row I got cold potatoes served. When I mentioned it, they insisted on taking the food off my bill which is a nice gesture but I really want them to serve warm potatoes. I’m hoping they have improved in this area but as with any new hotel, some kinks will have to be worked out.I love the area and will stay again!

The maid service for both our rooms was only just starting on the first room at 6pm! Despite rooms being empty from 9am.Restaurant service can only be described as utterly appalling. We stayed 6 nights and not even on one occasion was our order correct. One morning they served my children pancakes with the middle completely uncooked. The mixture just spilt all over the plate. It’s a place where you get the feeling none of the staff actually want to work and are just bidding their time till they get an acting job.

This was home away from home for 4 weeks, great hotel, staff and location. I’m giving a 5 star rating because of The Valet personal, 2 in particular. The manager Tina and her right hand Victoria, this ladies from the time I arrived until my departure today, never missed a beat, went above and beyond and always had a smile with excellent, superb and the highest customer service. If only the rest of the Valet team, specially the other manager had a bit of customer service knowledge, this could be the #1 valet company. Whomever is the GM should have this 2 ladies teach a class to the rest of the employees on what is customer service and how negative or lack of customer service can and will take a company under. Once again, thanks Tina and Victoria for making this month a pleasant one every time I needed 1 of our vehicles. Keep up the amazing and outstanding customer service level.

THE BAD: I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and saw that Harriets the Jeremys rooftop restaurant/cocktail bar was well reviewed. I found a great deal for a room on Expedia and booked. However on the notes which I did not see was not on the website or Expedia it said they were remodeling their lobby, restaurant, and cafe and the booking was not refundable. Frustrated I called them up, only booking them for planning to propose on the rooftop, fortunately Harriets was not the restaurant that was being remodeled. Just be careful if you receive a good deal you know the reason why.THE GOOD: When we arrived the lobby and cafe were open, beautifully decorated in contemporary tone. The staff was very friendly, attentive and punctual. One of the valet drivers was so interesting and outgoing we ended up talking to here for 20 minutes. The room was clean, semi spacious, recently remolded in a artisan/industrial design. The bathroom especially the shower was spacious with two shower heads. Our rooms view was limited to a small window, no balcony.THE FANTASTIC: Harriets rooftop restaurant was great! The view of the Hollywood/LA skyline was beautiful. It felt like it was outside but was temperature/climate controlled and was warm even in December. Very intimate feeling. The staff was great. I snuck out while she was taking a shower and they helped me set up for the proposal, letting me put up drawings I had done of Eeyore (me) proposing to Tigger (my girlfriend) and held our table tell we arrived. The showered us with love, champagne on the house, and our hostess took lots of pictures for us. The only downfall is it is more of a cocktail bar with appetizers then a restaurant. Which worked for us, my girlfriend ate with friends at the airport while I was at the baggage claim at LAX sweating bullets, hoping I was in right place, waiting to surprise her.She said yes!

I stayed at the hotel from July 28 to 30, on the day of departure I packed my bag and went down for breakfast, returned an hour later for the bag, I noticed already at the airport that I put a low mark on the wallet that was in the bag because of this, because for sure cleaning man stole money
